Next Video were finally tackling the 332nd Battle Pack Alternate Build! 😎 We're using 4 sets right out the gate, maybe we'll drop down to 1 or 2 later 😉
I built mine two days ago (bought the day before.) The only mod I've done so far is to close the gaps on the bottom, on either side of the nose turret- two 3x3 plates on each side, stacked and offset by one stud- making a two plate thick, 3x4 piece. That fills those holes nicely.
I have both the Ghost set and the new Ewing set but haven't opened them yet. I'm waiting for a day off where I can just vegetate and do Legos all day. Even on weekends I have too much stuff to get done, but knowing the sealed boxes are waiting for me on a slow day is just awesome. Also, great mods! I've been getting more into the pirates theme the past month or so, after I modded a lot of my Star Wars sets. My current project is grafting two of the 2009 Imperial flagships (the ones with four cannon ports per side for a total of potentially 8) and adding a second gundeck so now my supership has 16 cannon per side for a total of 32. Pirates theme is awesome!

I wish I was into the pirates theme when I was younger (or had more money then) but now I love it!! The only pirate set I have is the Creator ship. I combined two copies of the Creator Pirate ship and built a ship inspired by the Jackdaw (Assassins Creed 4). Its my biggest and probably favorite Alternate Build ever! Hope we see more pirates in the future!
That front mod for the cargo bay is very impressive. It’s just the right size, that it doesn’t take away from anything, but still having a play feature. Lego should be taking notes.
Some absolutely glorious mods. Wondering though if the underside of the ship can accommodate some cheese slopes or tiling in that gap at 1:12 to make the transition even smoother.
love the cargohold. It is an essential part of the Ghost. It is not important that it is 100% accurate, because it is a playset, but that cargohold is a must and you did it. Als love the extra interior details. For the phantom a small suggestion. You used a round yellow/orange tile. Maybe you can replace it with a 1x1 rounded 1/4 tile. (bricklink part 25269).
Hey, I posted my mods over on r/legostarwars and you replied, but for some reason it’s not letting me reply back to you so I’ll just do it here. I’m glad you liked my cargo bay, which after seeing this video I will be changing slightly. I love your design but I want to be able to have the gun/spring loaded shooter. I’m going to try and combine the designs from mine and your mods to make a better one. I also like the shorter profile of yours better so I’m going to try and make mine a bit shorter. I’ll make a follow up post on Reddit when I’m done.
After getting the ship in hand and halfway thru the build process, I was wondering how I could fix things up a bit in the interior to make space. I see this video before but at the time did not have my own ship to see how the changes work. You solved a problem I was having which was getting rid of the pillars in the back and even manage to get rid of the Z pillars in the front as well (where the sink is). I don't think my changes will be as radical as yours but I will make two beds to put in the back of the ship area.
It would be great if you could do PDFs for the cargo bay and interior. I totally respect the fact it would be painfully time consuming but will also try to have a bash at it myself.
there has to be a way to repurpose the "dead" sections of the ship as space for other areas like additional sleep quarters. I wonder if there was another level if that would allow for enough space
Awesome work! I had the same wish to upgrade the Ghost, but my interior looks different of cause. :D It's nice and interesting to see, what you put in this spaceship! :D It's a shame that Lego don't make more interior stuff in this ship. :D
I like how they do a lot of friends theme colors knowing that a lot of girls will be buying this set and why not fiends is better then city now days you get more !! And it’s better designed I think

Can’t say I’m a fan of the exterior mods, but I LOVE what you did with the interior! Definitely will be incorporating that into my set!

I tried that, and they certainly do! It will just make those side panels fold down a little bit less!
I suggest using a 1x2 inverted bracket with a 1x2 brick and a double cheese, it worked out perfectly for me.

Try a wrench piece with a bucket handle clipped into it for the kalikori
