I think that a secondary plate with weapons racks and supplies that you could switch out with the troop transport version would be cool, the possibility of having a quick change plate would really open up the possibilities of other modules as well such as a medics bay, repair station or even a mini AT-RT if you can fit one

I commented this on the last vid but another thing you could do is put 2 1x2 cheese slopes underneath the bars at the front of the cockpit, because in universe there is a bit of sloped armour there. Apart from that I think you've done a fantastic job. 👍

5:4 i basically moved the gunner seat the right and then added another on the left side. both are gunner seats because there are 2 turrets. in the cross sections encyclopedia, we can see 2 gunners. the cannons work independently. and adding the other gunner changes nothing to the way it all closes up. it fits perfectly

On mine I have the plate with all the seats in the back interchangeable with a plate of the same size, I have one that is a small at-rt bay which has room for one minifig scale at-rt and one trooper inspecting it in the back, it can be completely closed up and can look really nice when displayed from the right angles

How did you connect the control panel in the middle to the back of the cockpit as seen at 1:58 there is like 5 panels connected to the technic bar and I can't seem to figure out what part you used. Note: it is not the side panels which is shown at 2:06 I am talking about the main one which Rex was using at 1:32

What if you try to modify it so you put a 1person walker folded inside like in the turbotanks ?
Ha! I got 18 in mine (including turret)
2 in the cockpit, one in the turret (17 if that doesn't count), 5 in the front section, and 10 in the back

Id love to try! The middle houses a lot of structural bits to hold the whole thing together so it’d be an interesting challenge!!

There doesn’t have to be a pretend hallway 😃 I took out the carrying handle and opened up a complete 4 stud wide pathway between the 2 interior sections.
There’s a technic build that the middle two legs attach to that can be vastly downsized into two 1x3 beams on each side with the red axels going through. Then mount this atop walls on each side and add a brick underneath where the handle would stick through

I think 2 or 3 for all the control panels!
2:04 how do I do that? The ones that are on the wall (that the cockpit is in)
Skip to 2:07, Its a got a good side shot of the pieces used for it! Using a L-shaped bracket that faces studs on the side to attach to the wall, then a brick modified with the control panels on top of that!

I REALLY want to try this. When rewatching TCW for reference photos for my mods I saw Lightning Squadron and I gotta try it at least. Ill let you know how it goes!

Definitely still want to do that, I think some heavy modification to the way the side plates are attached, and using the stickered 4x4s as the hatch are the way to go.

@@BlaiseTM I would suggest extending the back of the at te (if possible) so the at rt deployer doesn’t take up the whole space
