- Finally, a normal person's review of Huel Protein - I got the Salted Caramel and Strawberries and Cream flavours of Huel's new Protein powder - Low Calorie, High Protein. This is designed as a snack/top up drink, rather than as a full meal replacement. Does it taste good? Does it fit with my weight loss journey? How's the texture? Is it nice?

Huel is nutritionally complete, which means every meal contains a balance of protein, carbs, essential fats, fibre, plus all 26 essential vitamins and minerals, and phytonutrients.
Huel has a long shelf life and it uses very little packaging, so it creates very little waste, and being plant-based it has a much lower carbon footprint than animal products.

Loving your Huel reviews and after 6 years of injury after injury not only am I finding you my new source of inspiration but actually helping me try new products I have tried the protein works and for the price great but I want to mix it up with the Huel savory options I am currently 23 stones so I am not looking for a wonder pill that will work over night (not the blue pill) but something that will help me get healthier over time and lose weight slowly. I just want to say thank you for for the great reviews and advice you give. Keep it up :)

@@LittleTipple I ordered 3 of the hot and savoury, and 2 tubs of complete chocolate and banana. Not too keen on the chocolate flavour but the banana is nice, especially with some ice cubes. The Mac & Cheeze is great, will definitely have more of that. The korma is pretty good too as long as it’s not too wet. Probably won’t have the Thai green again. Going to try the Madras and Chili next time 🤤

I have the complete protein for breakfast with 3 scoops which only have 315cals with 60g protein. And then the banana Huel black 90g powder for dinner and then a normal calorie controlled meal for lunch, calorie deficit hopefully I'll lose weight
The tubs shape reminds me of Dorian Yates Pro line protein from early 2000’s and the old Met-Rx tubs. Tbh I’m sick and tired of Huel adverts on Facebook and reddit. Great video 👍

One question- would you recommend meal replacement with lunch OR dinner. It looks like I’ll be huelling for breakfast and mainly evening meals. But I need to be sensible with lunch

I got one of those Huel shakers and haven't used it yet. So far, I've been mixing Huel powder in the Vitamix and then puring it into a Blender Bottle. I think I'm just used to those bottles and I'm not sure if I'll like the Huel one. I just ordered the Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Vanilla Caramel flavor. I'm sure the Banana Pudding would be good as well. Looking forward to checking them out.

I am new to HUEL and just ordered the HUEL protein powder. My plan was to use it for pre and post work outs at the gym. I could never go liquid diet only. Is this for me? Will it help my body repair and gain muscle after exercise? Arghh so confused. Now I am wondering if I should have got the black edition. Please help! lol

I mean, it works, but it just makes it taste slightly more like real bananas, it doesn't really add a lot. A spoonful of peanut butter though, now that's worth trying...
Did you prefer the salted caramel because you’d put more powder in it ? And if so , what was it like with the right amount ?

So, is it nicer with skimmed milk than just water, I’ll accept the extra calories etc ?
You say the consistency is not that nice, so instead of shaking it, can you blend it or NutriBullet it and then is it nicer / easier the palate ?
And the protein snack drink, would it not make more sense for them to do a protein bar that would be easier to carry with you , that you could have at with a brew or a bottle of water etc ?? !!

Would you still say that Queal overall is your favorite, most recomended meal replacement ?
I would - It's the one I keep coming back to. My only issue with them is the size of the packets - I wish they did a bigger bag...

Im having a meal replacement Huel complete protein shake for breakfast with 3 scoops which gives me 60g proetin so it keeps me full and the black powder for dinner and a normal meal for lunch. Trying to lose weight. Hoping it will work.
Nice! Some fruit there at 5-6pm works well. I wish their shakers were better, don't care for their design.

I found mine had a chalky texture to it, which was quite unpleasant. Maybe I need to shake the containers...
it's definitely less chalky than nornmal huel, but you're not wrong!
@LittleTipple prefer the Huel black, protein complete sadly makes me wanna throw it all out.
What’s the difference in regular Huel?
They got the same amount of protein don’t they
Regular huel is 400 cal for 20g to 40g protein depending on which kind you get. This is like 20g for 105 cal
You talk about it saying high calorie shake but then says low calorie; you’re looking at 2 different shakes, the one you have is complete protein which isn’t a meal replacement. The others are meal replacements which are like 400 calories.
I know exactly the bit you're talking about, but at that point when I made the video, Huel's own website, when you went to the product page for Huel Complete Protein, it opened saying "high calorie, high protein" - i can only assume it was a copy error on their page - they seem to have fixed it since... thanks for the pointer though! Also, I've done other videos on their other products, if you're interested?

I weigh out my powder cos I have found the scoops arent accurate.
no kidding about that powder getting everywhere. thats the one bad thing I have to say about huel overall.

Don't like it, also getting artificial aftertaste which I don't get with Huel black.
Wanna know why Huel doesn't offer sample packs? It's because all their flavors taste like sewage and they want you to pay for entire bags to discover that you hate all of them.
So basically you only lost 8kg in 2 years since your first video trying huel? Surely it's not gone well if you lost only 8kg?
@Adam Kent i agree but 2 years is quite some time. Are you REALLY still following a disciplined HUEL diet or is it the case that you get so many people claiming your referral that you basically get huel for free so end up giving them away?
surely muscle gain is going to be an element
