I don't really give a crap whether Ken Tamplin sings live or not and how many backing tapes he uses, but I've got to say: Fil's analysis is evenhanded and technically well-rounded, he goes out of his way not be nasty or character-assassinate people and it all equates to responsible music journalism to me. Keep up the good work.
I believe Tamplin's ego regarding his vocal ability is too big to allow him to be honest about what he has done. He has sacrificed his integrity in order to convince his fans that he is not like other human beings and has no vocal flaws because his vocal chords are special and not subject to aging.
@@RSVPiniAnd worse, he lies when he tells prospective customers that he can teach them how to have perfect voices, too, and then shows one of his lip synced videos as proof. It's literally fraud.
If Ken just said: Yeah I'm getting a bit older so I'm using a little help on a couple of parts with high notes. Then everyone would shrug and say: yeah no big deal, that's understandable. Now he's lying himself in all kinds of trouble for absolutely no reason
I guess his problem is that he just couldn't say that without undermining his teaching. Which as far as I understood suggest that following his method let's you maintain your range as you age.
☝️☝️☝️ THIS. 100% "I'm getting older, those high notes are getting harder to hit".. Fair enough, it's reality... But NO.... double, triple, quadruple down on obvious BS.. rather than owning it...
If he said that right away it would have been fine. Since he didn't, Fil actually uncovered that even in 1990 he was miming. I dunno, 30 years ago he needed help with the lead vocals? Something is still strange about it
@@patrickjordan2233 Yes, and as @ryanmattie974 pointed out, Ken even mimed as far back as 1990 (actually 1989). The problem is his selling point is access to incredibly high notes, and yet we find out that he uses backing LEAD vocal tracks for the high notes when performing live.
I was a casual Fil fan before all this. And now I'm a huge fan. This kind of fair analysis, delivered without rancor or nastiness, is so rare these days. Well done, Fil.
I started watching Fil after I ran across his channel & I've enjoyed hearing different singers & the way he breaks down what's going on. I don't know who this kind guy is, never heared of him before, don't like his attitude & really don't like his music.. live, mimed, lip sung, or prerecorded! Bit I will say it's been fun watching him try to stay above water when all Fil has done is point out a few things about Ken's performances that can't be denied. & doing it all casual like because he don't need dramatic drama while Ken is struggling with every thing he's got. It's been kind of funny. Just like when you catch the lier & they start pointing out everything that makes absolutely no sense about anything while hoping no one sees the truth! GREAT JOB FIL!
Fil, you tried to get the truth out and maybe even concern for someone else and ended up having to use YOUR PROGRAM to explain the outcome is beyond sad...Just heard you say you're not in the USA and I wasn't aware of that.. ...All this to say that I completely believe YOU and I don't think you need to further your actions...Keep YOUR good attitude and know that YOU are believed..Wishing nothing but good things and peace coming your way! ROCK ❤
I just think we should all appreciate how Fil has taken such an honest approach to this topic. He hasn't in any way tried to shame or pass judgement over Tamplin, he has simply shown us the data and why things don't add up. The hate he has received has been unwarranted and flat out unfair. Fil, if you read this, keep doing what you're doing. You're one of the good ones.
That's ok, I will. He lied and did his level best to deny this and is only coming clean to cover what's left of his backside. He's a scoundrel, and should never be trusted.
I've been a big Ken fan for a long time. Tried his courses for a couple of years. I would never find out about you or your analysis if it wasnt for the video of Ken saying "listen and think for yourself". So I watch your analysis and listen very carefully. It did make me work on my scales and my warmup, so for a while I did get better (I didn't yet practiced a lot back then) but after a while my tone started to decline just from the placement I was directing my voice towards and I was getting frustrated because I couldn't make it work. I don't think the course is trash, it has some value, specially for beginers (ex: he talks about voice recovery, voice recording and song composing besides the singing), but at the same time, a beginer wouldn't have the knowledge to know what is best and what is not. Or that was my case at least
And like Fil said, this wasn't an attempt to gain viewers (but I'm sure he wouldn't mind!) or prove someone wrong, but that they're not being honest. Like he said, once you tell one lie, you just keep digging yourself farther into a hole.
@@CentraalHubFil had no criticism at all about using backing tracks. None at all. His information was around Ken Lip-synching. Nothing wrong with that, you say? Of course not, IF you are honest about it. Ken wasn’t. It is simply that simple.

In addition, I played several musical instruments growing up and have always been an avid listener of rock music. I detected pretty early on that there was something amiss in Ken Tamplin's videos, and it is refreshing to see the sound science presented here in this channel to set the record straight. Thank you.
I 100% agree. I have been doing studio and live sound for 30 years. His comment that he was singing along with his own vocal creating a doubling effect is an absolute lie. The latency was consistent all the way through - this is impossible for a human being. Some words or parts of words would be in sync and some would be out of sync. You cannot sing exactly 50ms consistently.

No matter how much Tamplin might argue that videos like yours are clickbait, your patience and objectivity disprove that accusation. I am always-ALWAYS-impressed by the way you consistently point out that you are not making subjective comments. You go out of your way to make abundantly clear that you aren’t saying Tamplin can’t sing or can’t play the guitar, just that, in these instances, he isn’t singing/playing live. This clarity is your greatest strength, Fil, and it is why I have so much respect for you.
Kens nose was growing when he said he was asked to be the Singer of Foreigner ,journey, Motley Crue etc . Ken is like that little Kid in the playground telling stories that never happened.
Phil. I’ve been watching your videos for some years now. I’m always impressed with your analysis and demeanor. Ken Tamplin popped up in my feed during Covid lockdown. He’s a defensive and a hard-to-watch narcissist. He’s dug a hole for himself and should stay there.
Ken accusing others of deleting comments is absolutely wild. He’s gone through and deleted every single negative comment he’s gotten. I left comments that were in no way rude/insulting, and they were removed almost immediately.
I noticed that on a few videos of his I checked out. I thought it was pretty strange that during this time of being under such great scrutiny, every comment was glowing praise for Ken's talent. It's just so blatantly deceitful!
I salute whoever added “mime” and “lip synchronizer” to the Occupation section of Ken’s wiki Here’s to you Fil! As someone who has taught Critical Reasoning courses at several universities, I feel your pain when it comes to trying to communicate logic to those who aren’t interested in critically evaluating personal data
As a critical thinker, you must be in immense pain these days. I think most people could use a class, or a refresher course, in logic. It’s a dying art 🙁
@@iandowney4630I am more tired than my years would predict, lol They have made critics reasoning a required class in most universities now, but one wonders if it’s too little too late
Fil, you are a treasure to the online musical analysis content. I am not a content creator, but I am a trained scientist and an educator. Integrity is everything. I feel your frustration when people make unfounded claims that cannot be justified with actual data, then commit logical fallacies and attack you personally (ad hominem fallacy), rather than being honest. Sometimes they outright lie, other times they simply refuse to take responsibility for their actions and/or words. His fallacious arguments also include argument from authority, argument from popularity, false cause, and a few others. Then he tells people to think critically, which is good advice that he should take himself. Thinking critically includes applying sound logic.
I'm a singer/musician myself for over 40 years now... Everything you say in this video is nothing but the truth! I've been following Ken for quite a while, and I've noticed him ' faking' his stuff more than once! Not saying he can't sing or play guitar, but he's just not honest about a lot of things! Lots of respect for you, man!!!
The funny thing is I actually noticed Ken miming the guitar years ago but didn't think much of it because I could relate to not being able to record properly in front of a camera. But denying it is another thing.
Fil's impeccable integrity is the foundation of this channel. And it's one of the main reason I've been a long time subscriber. Ken Tamplin on the other hand started with deception and has had to keep the lie going in order to have a career. He's been flat out busted, but still clings to the hope that his sheep will stay hypnotized. Anyone with a half a clue about body language and facial expressions when someone is lying will spot several red flags in Tamplin's rebuttal clip. Faking playing and singing is bad enough and is rampant across all social media. But to be called out on it with unassailable proof and yet still deny it is just pitiful. This wasn't a grudge match to try and destroy one man's career, it was one man on a mission to call out the fakery that passes for reality. Well done Fil, you've defended your position admirably.
@@carr0760 that’s probably true. But then that opens up another mystery. If he recorded the solo on a 24 fret guitar (and he appears to be good enough to record the solo comping multiple takes before hand), why not mime the guitar playing using a 24 fret guitar?
@@GustavoLovato Because Ken probably had recorded that solo a long time before and he didn't remember he'd used a 24 fret guitar. Or he just doesn't care and knows that his target audience doesn't care either (or doesn't have the wits to notice this kind of thing).
I’ve been a fan of Fil and Ken’s videos for some time and I felt both gentlemen delivered good content and were very knowledgeable in their craft. Fil has a history of being objective when he analyzes the videos he is asked to review. I have never heard Fil make a disparaging comment about any singer. Absolutely masterful and hysterical critique of Ken faking the guitar. What the hell is he doing making faces/etc and why is he playing a $200 beginner squire if he’s pretending to be a guitar master?
Watching young videos of him, he's never been a good mover, and he's never had swagger. He's always been one of those guys that looks like he's spent too much time posing in front of his bedroom mirror, and not done enough gigs or been filmed enough to realize how dorky it all looks. He feels that just "moving around fast and non-stop" is cool - but they're not cool moves, they're dorky, and no one has told him to his face.
@@DunmoresMovieManiayou have a valid point. I will give him this, he’s a really good singer, but someone else in his family got all of the “cool” or “swagger”. He’s definitely cringey to watch.

The tactic Ken is using is called obfuscation (word of the day - use it on your friends! 😄). For example, Ken holding a note is wholly irrelevant to whether or not he has been lip syncing. Pointing out that some name-brand bands have used backing tracks is also wholly irrelevant to whether or not Ken has been lip syncing. And so on and so on. Keep shining your light, Fil!

Ken can learn a thing or two from this. It really is wishful thinking though. Thanks for this video Fil!
Yeah, but you didn't think he was going to find a note that doesn't even exist on his guitar, though. That was HILARIOUS. Not only is Ken dishonest, he sucks at it.
I am no musician or vocalist, but I love music and learn so much from watching your videos. Your honest and instructive approach is valuable to me. Thanks for making a difference in my understanding.
@@elizabethmiller7291 correct, that Squire only has 19 frets, so the highest note is only a B. I didn’t do a pitch check, but to my ears it sounded like he played a high E, which would be the 24th fret… on a 19 fret guitar. And as Fil noted, Ken didn’t compensate with the extreme bending required to raise that B that much higher.
I think another "proof" that Ken is removing comments is that this video has (at this point in time) 90K+ views and almost 3000 comments, while his response has 40k+ views and 550 comments. Something's not adding up.
His admission is a lie. The recorded track was set roughly at the same volume as the moments he is singing, so they knew beforehand and rehearsed it that way; Ken would be silent in some moments, where lead vocals would do the job and Ken would sing when the lead vocals WOULDN'T be there. If all backing tracks (including some lead vocals in) were intended to be backing the band up , then we would notice the difference between the moments Ken's actually adding his voice to the backing tracks and when he ISN'T, which we DON'T. Also, it's something nearly impossible for the audience to notice, no matter if they are too close to the stage or not, because vocals don't come out of a particular amplifier like guitar or bass do so you can check it out by getting closer to that particular source, but they come out from the PA system, whose output is the same as the prerecorded tracks. As the band did its homework and did soundcheck, they had leveled out those vocals there. That's the proof that Ken actually did lipsync. If not, 2 things would happen: - People (live and from video footage) would hear both vocals going on (which we don't) - If, as Ken himself posted, he can't reach some notes and let the "backing track" do the job just in very few moments, then a difference on volume would be noticeable. which doesn't happen. We can see on the videos that he closes his mouth and vocals still can be heard with the same output level. Ken is still lying.

The main thing I took away from this (and ALL of Fil's videos) is Fil being Fil. Truly a class act. The exact opposite of Ken. I always learn something new from Fil who gives us facts, honesty and integrity. He has taught me to look at who and what I listen to a lot more than I did before finding his channel. This is a good example of why I feel the Internet has added a level of unhappiness by exposing things we were all happy to bury our heads in the sand. I have been accused many times of being a critical person, however that is not how I started out until I got out into the real world! Now at 53, other than life teachings, I have seen and been involved in the Internet and information sharing. On one hand I love what it exposes, but it sometimes feels like, outside of political realms, I would have preferred to preserve my ignorance. This is part of the dilemma with content creation.....if you have any kind of integrity.....base it on the truth. People do appreciate the kind of honesty that you provide brother. Unfortunately you were put in this position to feel like you had to defend yourself...however at the same time the choice was made to make videos that could stir up controversy, therefore here we are. I personally like this conversation as I feel people could learn to be open without all the critism people deem necessary. Also...you are correct though. An untrained eye would question the claim that he is being genuine in his live playing, whether in his studio or on stage. I am cool if you say "this is my original track and I will do my best to show how I did it" , cause the dude created some sick solo licks...so props to that! But as in a court of law, this is a character thing. FTR...I am pretty new to the channel as of today....and subscribed bro. Gonna go down this rabbit hole now!! 😉
Unreal? He says " There was no intent to deceive..." then why all the play acting when he got out of synch with the track, pretending the head set was cutting out. That my friends, is an intent to deceive. It is plain as day, he was trying to sell it as if he was singing and he was not.
@m.rivers9201 His headset was "cutting out" because of phase inversion. If you use a tool like Audacity and record a piece of music or vocal, and then copy that to a second track (or the other side of a stereo image), if you invert the phase of one of those and play them together, the sound will disappear. This is how, years ago, we used to be able to hear vocals on a stereo recording in isolation. We'd simply reverse the wires on one of the speakers, and whatever music was in both sides of the recording would disappear and the vocals, which were in the middle, would be more audible.
He’s SO embarrassing. If he’d kept a level head and stuck to his story then maybe he’d be able to convince people… but he went into full damage control, deleting videos, deleting comments etc. Dude is the lord of cringe. We’re watching Ken had a (very late) midlife crisis in realtime hahaha
You have such patience and ability to remain neutral, fair and often positive in all these videos. It really shows how much you love music and how much you love all the great artists, who might at times unfortunately mime. Thanks for this great example to us all, it's really a gift. In addition, I feel that anybody who is at all sensitive to demeanor and personality will know after seeing a short clip of you and then Ken whom to trust. You're such an obviously sensitive and sincere person and he has a vibe which I find makes him extremely difficult to trust.
Fil, I've always known that you take an objective and honest approach in your analysis videos. To me, it doesn't sound like Ken Tamplin has "come clean" about his miming. It sounded more like he was rationalizing and being retaliative; the latter of which I now understand why you needed to make this video. It's too bad that he disrespected your integrity; apparently he has none. You brought the voice of reason and respect as well as the objective proof in this video. As for why he deleted videos that could have benefitted him, I remember this phrase: "There's no making sense of the senseless." I'm not into drama either so I'm glad you decided to move on to other analysis videos. Thanks for all you do, and for being YOU, Fil!
@@macgyveriii2818 no, because then the other notes would also be altered and they’re not. They would ALL be higher, not just that one high pitched screaming note in the solo. The relative positions of all the other notes would change.

I think Mr Tamplin has the maturity of a 9year old, We know bands use backing tracks, him naming many bands is childish, Nightwish albums have orchestral and choir parts to their music, they play these recordings when live for obvious reasons, but the guitars, drums, lead vocals, bass and keyboards are played live, the same applies to Tool, Dream Theater, even Midge Ure have to use backing tracks and I have seen them all live pretty recently, in the case of Nightwish Troy had some mic issues on his pipes so we did not hear those parts as Troy went off stage and played some of his parts on the Whistles. Ken is a big baby and deceptive, btw his vocal was pretty poor when he did sing
Buckethead does it, and the audience knows it (you can't help notice it - there's no band!) but he isn't trying to hide anything. Well, except his identity....Ken is being deceitful top to bottom.
@@JimGore yeah, the Buckethead equivalent to Tamplin would be if his harder to play lead guitar parts were on the backing tracks as well and he was just on stage “playing” with the guitar volume knob at zero during those sections. Of course, considering how Buckethead almost never plays a song the exact same way twice, it’s pretty safe to say he’s not engaging in those kinds of shenanigans.
Hello! Fil is it? I wanted to say I had no idea who you or who Ken were and after looking at what you and him presented, as an outside critical thinker I can say you did an amazing job exposing him. My son, a good musician and singer, several years ago started watching Ken's videos to work on his vocals. Definitely not saying he did not learn anything, but he soon saw some things himself that made him question some parts of what he was watching. At first he did not make a big deal that some of the playing and singing were recorded. His attitude was whatever, but he did feel, after someone made some comments, that something was not right. He started feeling uncomfortable from the honest side of things, and decided to move on. Honesty means a lot to him. Still, he had no proof, so he left it alone. Still, when I saw the first video related to this and sent it to him, he was very upset and said some not nice things. This had apparently been seething in him for a while. He was straight angry, saying, "I knew it! I'm glad there finally is some real proof!" I have watched Fil's videos for a good while, and within the last year have subscribed. It's one of the few things I watch pretty regularly. Truth and honesty are hard to find!
Both guys channel for some unknown reason pop up on my screen and so I've watched them out of curiosity here and there While I really don't care about either one, this Full guy comes across as a genuine kid, while the "proof is in the singing" always came across as huffin'&puffin' sort of guy, not genuine, irritating, full of himself narcissist. I compared them instinctively with my Russian piano teacher who was a virtuoso, yet so humble, and the sweetest person you would ever meet in your life. Fil - genuine kid who just wants to have fun Ken - phony, stuck up , self- promoting bullshit artist,
I have nothing but the greatest respect for your method of analysis and commentary. I like how you explain something in a factual way, give examples and keep the conversation about the topic on an intellectual level.
What I like about you, Fil, is that you’re clearly a genuinely nice guy, yet you’re also firm, direct and highly assertive. It’s refreshing to see someone who can be a 'nice guy' and a take-no-prisoners, don’t-mess-with-me dude. A beautiful paradox.
I typed Ken Tamplin Hallelujah into youtube, the audio only version (13yrs old) and this performance (3yrs old) it's exactly the same, just the album version i'm guessing. So both singing and playing are mimed. *Edit: He hits the same accidental harmonic in both versions at 3:00 mins into the song.
Your integrity and professionalism just earned a sub. Generally speaking, we can deal with ignorance and even incompetence. When someone loses their integrity it all just falls down. That has to be earned back and a lot of times there just isn’t enough time to do that so you have to move on.
Keep doing what you do Fil. You are super nice, refreshing and cool.......although as a bald man, I find it difficult to look at your incredibly thick hair......but that's not important. Your videos are incredible, and informative! Thanks for doing them!
Yes, his hair is as great as his analysis and integrity. But I was distracted by that X-Factor video and the shirtlessness of Fil. I was a bit gobsmacked by what's under that grey hoodie of Fil's!

You don't need to justify yourself any further in this situation. You are always offer more than enough proof in your videos. You never seem vindictive or mean, just logical and on point. I (and many others) really appreciate the work you do to expose the hypocrisy in the music industry. Keep doing what you do, Fil.
I really don't understand why people can't just admit they made a mistake. Ken has been caught out. It wasn't, initially, enough for me to lose all respect for him, but his response has made me lose every last ounce of respect for him. Fil stayed polite and objective, all the time. He utterly took the higher ground. Ken needs to act his age & try telling the truth! I've been watching this channel for quite some time, but this is my favourite video - so far!
You have a combination of honesty, technical knowledge, an ability to explain things, and the courage to tell it like it is that so, so many of us appreciate. Mr. Tamplin’s use of straw man arguments is really transparent. We are all behind you, Fil.

Music journalism with integrity and honesty. I like it!

"I'm getting older, those high notes are getting harder to hit"..
That's how narcissists are.

Fil calmness and professionism shines! Poor Ken
Ken's tongue sucks. His face sucks, too. His whole head sucks!
I find Fil, totally unbiased and fair. He is not judgemental, he provides proof and that is that.

The note 'doesn't exist on the guitar he is playing', to be more precise.
@@elizabethmiller7291 it was hilarious
@@elizabethmiller7291 correct, that Squire only has 19 frets, so the highest note is only a B. I didn’t do a pitch check, but to my ears it sounded like he played a high E, which would be the 24th fret… on a 19 fret guitar. And as Fil noted, Ken didn’t compensate with the extreme bending required to raise that B that much higher.
Actually it is possible to play that note on a 21 fret instrument, by playing on the bridge pickup. Done it many times!
@stuartmenziesfarrant yup. Which ken didn't do in the video
You are a smart and talented guy, Fil. Thanks for keeping it classy, it doesn't go unnoticed.
If not, 2 things would happen:
- People (live and from video footage) would hear both vocals going on (which we don't)
- If, as Ken himself posted, he can't reach some notes and let the "backing track" do the job just in very few moments, then a difference on volume would be noticeable. which doesn't happen. We can see on the videos that he closes his mouth and vocals still can be heard with the same output level.
Ken is still lying.
Yup. There was no admission here. Just doubling down on lying and treating everyone as if they were stupid. Awful.

Great video & analysis! The fact that he is taking down videos is damning.
The main thing to take from this whole saga, is that Ken and his songs are bloody awful.
and that he doubles down on being deceptive.
He may be (or have been) a fairly decent singer and guitarist but the songs are bad, that's why he didn't hit it bigger and is now doing this instead of playing on stadiums.
I actually like his music and own several of his albums, but I'm not sure I could stomach listening to them after this.
Fil is not only brilliant but a truly thoughtful and caring human being. Thank you for being one of only a handful of heroes left in a world full of liars and cheats. They should have your pic next to the word "TRUSTWORTHY" in the dictionary. I love your channel and love the person you are. Keep up the good fight!
Fil, I love your calm demeanor and straight forward honesty. You are a true gentleman and much appreciated!
We’re watching Ken had a (very late) midlife crisis in realtime hahaha
he still earns 4k a month from that channel so it's a bit of a dilemma, he can't be too heavy handed or he risks losing the whole channel basically
@@LegendLengthI wonder what would happen if people started reporting his videos as deceptive? Would UA-cam take action?
I'm sad I missed your expose on Tom Hess. I was had by both him and Tamplin. And I'm disgusted.
@@cayvzcvlt how much money and time did it cost you (if you feel ok to disclose of course)

Fil bought a voice of reason and Ken bought a voice that he prerecorded in 1989.
“Ken has just played a note that he doesn’t have on his fretboard.” Very much looking forward to the Christian miracle to explain this.
Your comment is truly enjoyable 😂👍🏻
Not that I believe Ken in the slightest, but as a non-guitar player, is it possible his strings are tuned up to be higher?
Good one, Ken's a Judas & he's committed career suicide for sure!
@@macgyveriii2818 no, because then the other notes would also be altered and they’re not. They would ALL be higher, not just that one high pitched screaming note in the solo. The relative positions of all the other notes would change.
@@thefonzkiss fancy seeing you here haha. always ontop of the lip syncing shenanigans!
My limerence, is morphing into a full on crush at this point. Skilled, and thoughtful analysis, mixed in with UK sass, and eye candy. I may have to subscribe, and hang out for awhile. This was super fun. ty.
Side note..as I am one of THOSE PEOPLE who has poor impulse control, and I comment when the videos play.... You and Will Ramos from Lorna Shore... if you haven't already. I think you two would vibe, most excellently. 🤘
Wow, what a boss. You, sir, are a legend.
Indeed, it's not like Iron Maiden can get Winston Churchill on vocals for the intro to Aces High 🧑🎤😀
Maybe expose is the wrong word but I’ll tell you man the truth always prevails! You did such a great job man seriously!
Thank you for making this and clearing your name, that wasn’t cool what Ken did linking that video. I am very sensitive to other people and I can just tell you are a wonderful, kind and honest human being. Don’t stress over any of this, you came out on top :)
Can imagine you're well sick of this
You are being so incredibly gracious to this guy. I can’t lie, I’ve enjoyed watching these videos a lot, but I’m glad you’re ending this saga. This dude is not worth spending more time on. Beautiful, steady handed, fair work on your part though.
Fil….
Your channel is the BEST.🙏🏻
Regardless of whatever he says as an excuse it still shows his narcissism. He does not have a humble bone in his body. He runs off of pure pride. pride.
As a Christian, he surely knows that's a cardinal sin. Well unless he's miming being a Christian as well.
@mipmipmipmipmip-v5x maybe another "Christian" can help him to surrender his sins to God.
Great video, you offer a great insight on the different ways a musician/performer can manipulate their audiences into believing something that just isn’t true.
The KT debacle is a classic case of “live by the sword, die by the sword”, technology not only hides his flaws but exposes them as well.
The verdict is in! People like and respect you and your channel. The numbers don't lie.
Oh what a tangled web we weave.....
... and I would add, (and will have to change "the lady" to "he") He doth protest too much, methinks" (Ie: Ken)
ESPECIALLY when we practice to deceive.
That dude always gave me the ick. On the other hand, Fil has always been one of the most down-to-earth, reasoned, objective music UA-camrs you could ever hope to find. Thank you for your perspective and expertise, and especially your no-frills vibe. Much needed :)
Goodness, Fil! I can imagine that you are more than ready to move on. Thanks so much for your dedication in doing the thorough research for this. And now, time to take a little break!
He's a genuine , imitation legend in his own mind .
@@jimfritz2087 I was thinking the same 😁
Ken is the real deal, within Ken's perception of 'real'.
Perfect example of a narcissist
WINGS OF PEGASUS i really appreciate your professionalism in everything you do for the truth of people that claim to be performing or singing and show with out a doubt their not or faking i wish you could do a test on me because I have people that think that I am using something and I have been dealing with it for 25 years and it getting worse with the doubters thank you for your support and you really are doing great things
Fil - genuine kid who just wants to have fun
Ken - phony, stuck up , self- promoting bullshit artist,
HOW are you still having to explain this? It's bananas. Listen to Ken talk for two seconds and it's easy to see he's full of bologna.
What's Bologna? 😂that's an Italian city
@@valentinabernocco4206 And that must be where bolognese comes from
He comes off as more of a Salami guy to me.
Bananas and bologna?!?

Thanks for your videos Fil. I am a fan and am going to check into your original music and vides, etc.
Ken with his right hand in the cookie jar: 'look at my left hand, it's not in the cookie jar'.
pfft lol
or, “experts have looked at me and counted nearly half a dozen of my fingers that are nowhere near the cookie jar”
Nice sleuthing 🫡
Yeah, I was listening to his singing in Fil's video and noticed too that the singing might be mimed as well...
And thats a wrap.
LOL.. I LOVED it when you identified he's mimicking playing a note he doesn't actually have on the guitar he is playing...CLASSIC ! If you're going to lie, Ken, use the correct instrument matey.
You don't need to justify yourself any further in this situation. You are always offer more than enough proof in your videos. You never seem vindictive or mean, just logical and on point. I (and many others) really appreciate the work you do to expose the hypocrisy in the music industry. The more this guy talks, the more he makes himself look like a fool and backs himself into a corner. He should just fess up, explain and move on. He would look much better.
"That's really me singing" no kidding but its "MEMOREX" Fil, you're a man of integrity and you've now stirred up some sh!t, unwittingly so rock on!
I miss people calling things “memorex”, cool call back
At this point we have to question if his hair and tongue are actually live.
After KT Strikes back and Fil responds... "Here we are at the Parrot Avian Society and they have confirmed that KT's tongue actually belongs to a Hyacinth Macaw"
Hyacinth: It's Bouquet! B-U-C-K-E-T!
@bardsamok9221 lol poor Richard. If any man should get a medal for putting up with someone it's him.
😅😅
Fil, love your content 🤍
I can't believe Seal was in the comments recently, he is amazing, I'd be starstruck!!! 😮
This video was so unintentionally savage AF it made me chuckle a bit 😅
