I'm old and not very useful anymore. I've donated money a few times to the area since this happened. I wish I was young again, and able to actually drive over and spend a day or two helping. I'm not that far, just three hours away, and these communities are where I came to relax and enjoy life. I could pick up ten pounds or less for a couple hours, but I worry I would be more in the way than helpful. My heart breaks for all of the folks who experienced this disaster. I'll continue to donate monthly to help them. If you can't do anything but $5, please find a reliable source to assist in this recovery effort. The folks who live here are the life of our country. They deserve way more than they are getting from our government.
