    Hello, can anybody help me to know how deep is the standing pad (in lowest place) compere to highest point of a bord? or how thik is the bord in front of standing pad?

      Thats a tough one... We haven't got any boards here to measure at the moment. Maybe one of the views might know. Really sorry about that Sergey. If I see a board I will try and get it for you. thanks Reuben

    I was interested in a 2020 Wood Carbon Sprint 24, because of availability and trade-in options I went for a 2020 Fanatic Strike BXF 25 instead. First impressions: faster on the flats and more stable than my Allstar 2018 24,5. Exactly what I was looking for.

      Great to hear your feedback Erik, Fanatic have got some great looking boards in there range. Good to hear your thoughts on the Strike. Thanks Reuben

      @@SUPboardermag would like to see you guys review the 'new' Strike that has been around since summer 2018!

    Thank you. I think the most interesting part is to know the differences bettween the AllStar 2019 and 2020 for one size, in speed and stability, just because they changed the bottom shape please. Cheers,

      We are on the lookout for 2 boards of the same size 19/20 then we could put together another video. Thanks for your comment.

    Have you done any Infinity Blackfish or Whiplash? if not can you?
    I have an older AllStar and a Whiplash. Like them both but want a Blackfish or newer Allstar.

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  4 роки тому

      We haven't done one yet but have just had a new Blackfish arrive from our SUPboarder Pro test which we are going to do. Read about it here. www.supboardermag.com/2019/10/10/a-next-generation-of-sup-testing-is-coming-to-supboarder-pro/ Sorry it wont be on UA-cam though. :-(. But Im well excited about these new test. Cant wait to find out what kit is like back to back. Thanks Reuben

    Very interesting and detailed, I like the reviews from your channel very much! After having some fun with my SIC Air Bullet 17x26, I bought my first Hardboard just one month ago, a SIC RS 14x26, after having seen your RS Review for about 15 times.
    My favourite video from you is the comparison between the Rocket Ship & the Bullet.
    Therefore, I think that a comparison between the new All Star and the Rocket Ship would be very interesting (or maybe a 3 SUP comparison, adding the new Maliko).
    Keep up with the great work and please add some downwind videos!
    One question, do you recommend to protect the rails of your own hardboard, or do you think that a protection of the rails is overrated, because there will be scratches somewhere on the board anyway?

    • @uwcb1
      @uwcb1 4 роки тому

      Do you like the RS?

    • @kaikaiser1497
      @kaikaiser1497 4 роки тому +1

      @@uwcb1 Yes, I do like it very much! It is way more stable, than my 26.6 wide Air Bullet, especially the second stability is outstanding when paddling through side wind chop. Acceleration and speed is also way better than on my previous inflatable boards.
      Regarding my weight (96kg) and height (191cm), the 24,5 wide RS also would have been ok, but I wanted the extra stability in order to be better abble paddling through the choppier and much colder water during winter.

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  4 роки тому +1

      Hey Kai, really glad you like the reviews. That was a big one! I love the RS and really good to hear you are happy with it too. We are going to be doing some SUPboarder Pro test soon, Find out more here www.supboardermag.com/2019/10/10/a-next-generation-of-sup-testing-is-coming-to-supboarder-pro/ we will be doing the RS in the test for sure. Its a subscription service but it the best way to do a completely independent test out of brand. But regs tape on rails. Yeah always worth it. Helicopter tape is what you're after. Not cheap but well worth it. Thanks Reuben

    • @kaikaiser1497
      @kaikaiser1497 4 роки тому +1

      @@SUPboardermag Hey Reuben, thank you for your reply! Ok, I will go for Helicopter tape then. And I will seriously condider your Pro-Channel as well.
      Glad to hear that you like the RS too, because you said in your comparison video that you rather would go for a Bullet if you had to choose. But of course, that depends on personal preference and the water you paddle in nearby.

    Hi, great video, but you don’t mention the difference in stiffness between the wood carbon and full carbon. How less stiff it is the wood carbon for almost same weight ? Can you fell the difference while paddling.
    I am considering on changing my Maliko 14*28 for AllStar 14*26 WC like the one on the video, would you say the the “V” shape bottom will make a challenge to go from a board to the other one. Thanks 🤙🤙

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  3 роки тому

      Hi Nicholas, you can feel a slight difference in stiffness but you really have to be paddling hard and definitely riders that weigh more will notice a bigger difference.
      Regarding the bottom shape of the all-star you will notice the difference between your Naish and the new starboard will be harder to paddle but if you find your Naish easy to paddle at that width and are paddling in most all-round water conditions you should be able to jump on the Starboard without too much of a problem. But the newest All waters are definitely not as stable as passed boards 2016-19. Hope that helps? Thanks Reuben

    Once again a great video. What's the difference between the lite tech and carbon apart from the 800g? Are all the dimensions the same and build techniques the same?

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  4 роки тому

      The weight and the stiffness and the biggest things.
      The construction processes are very similar but obviously the materials that are in the boards are different.The carbon boards will give you a quicker pick up speed because they're lighter and more responses. But the shape is exactly the same. I hope that helps thanks Reuben

    Congrats for your work! Very happy to have a Supboarder pro account to support your excellent work. Can you test some different brands like Gong, 3Bay, NSP please?

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  4 роки тому +1

      Great to hear it. NSP were trying to get a board to us but not sure that it will be available for the SUPboarder pro test period with the other boards. Gong said that 'they don't do tests' So didn't want us to test one!! I guess if all our great supporters keep telling them to get involved they will. Thanks for subbing it means alot.. Thanks Reuben, PS the test is going to be epic!

    spirnt 21.5 and 425Pro 21 Which is faster and what is the difference between the two ?Could you give me a brief introduction? Thank you very much!

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  4 роки тому

      Okay a brief description. The 425 pro is much more of an all-round weapon. With its higher and more rounded nose the board is better at punching in and out through waves and definitely in paddling more open water conditions.
      The Sprint is the faster board out of the two and slightly more tailored towards flatwater paddling, you can also paddle the sprint in open seas but is more technical to use because it is flat overall and it has a lower nose entry. Depending on what type of paddling you are doing?
      If you are looking at paddling in open sea conditions all of the time then the 425 pro would probably be the board to go for. If flat water and speed is what you are looking to do then definitely go towards the Sprint. I hope that helps? Thanks Reuben

      Hey Andrew. Well its got to be ; SIC RS , Naish Maliko, Infinity Blackfish, Fanatic Blitz , JP Allwater race the list could go on. If you’re interested we are going to be doing a SUPboarder Pro Test with most of these and a few more. It's our subscription channel, but it's the only way when it comes to really tests.
