How would you compare stability and speed to an (2018) Allstar 14x24,5 which i'm paddling now? I would like to have some more 'reserve' in stability and as my paddling is 99% flat with occasional wind chop on lakes I am thinking about a Sprint. My guess is that it is both faster and more stable.

Hi Erik, Thank you for the question.
Yes - you are absolutely correct. This Sprint despite it being 0.5" narrow than you Allstar is significantly more stable than the Allstar.
This is for a couple of reasons like Tony talks about in the video - the combination of the dug out standing area, high flat rails and deep centre concave on the bottom of the board. Also the overall waterline length of the Sprint is slightly great in terms of contact with the waters surface due to the flatter rocker line resulting in a faster board.
If you are wanting more stability and greater all round performance than your Allstar in flat water and choppy (just below knee high) - this Sprint is the board for you (it will also be a little lighter, meaning better acceleration).
It is in stock and ready for shipping. UK Shipping is free of charge and shipping to Europe is £99

Why the widest Sprint ??? The 20,75 or 22 wide would have been better. Nobody races a 24 wide Sprint.

Hi Zune, thanks for the question. Volume could be one reason due to the overall weight of the paddler and also stability the second. The 25" from last year and 24" in 2020 have both proven to be very capable for a broad range of paddlers in a wide range of conditions.
