@@AnthonyLopez-lb2bd they follow the same religion. Its simply a different (the jodo shinshu) sect of shinto buddhism where the religious leaders were attempting to overthrow the feudal lords. The ikko ikki were just a (very large and almost successful) rebellion lead by part of the religious elite. kind of like the protestant reformation. Except unsuccessful

Samurai or not there was definitely some hatred for ninja among other Samurai. While a captured Samurai could expect a relatively clean execution 7/10 a captured Ninja could expect a horrific drawn out death after an _extensive_ “interrogation,”

This format is the best of both worlds, it mixes those 5 minute "the ____ experience" shitposts, and a several hour long letsplay series, into a 30 minute -shitseries- playpost
(Is shitseries crossed out for anyone? It should be strikethrough, but im on mobile and its not showing for me.)
Yeh it striked through aha and yeah, i try to get all blended into one. I hate how long & lazy let's plays are and i wanna show the whole story of the campaign as much as i can, with epic and funny parts :D
Im completely with you, i just get bored a couple episodes in, because its mostly uncut, and progress is slow compared to a shooter game. Though this way, as the creator youre done with a whole campaign in 1 video, so you earn much less then a lets play series would. Even with how much views drop off after the first couple videos, im pretty sure you earn more with the same subcount, doing a lets play, than you would a video like this, since some of those subscribers (even if a small minority) will watch all the episodes, and if youre done with a campaign in 1 video, theres not a thing that your most dedicated viewers can do to help you out, beyond watching the 1 video. I kinda went on a tangent there, sorry.
Plus theres a real sense of dramatic framing and scene...

Imagine this kind of shogunate, filled with spy networks everywhere and keeping tab on everyone. Every problem is handled via Assassination. Also when admiral Perry come sure he can enter the harbour but he and his crew got Assassinated later that night and their body and ship disappear.

you know, the end cinematic to any Shogun 2 campaign is probably the best of any TW game. The Diamyo of your clan, revered through the centuries all the way to modern Japan, the clan banner hanging from a modern skyscraper. I have to wonder if the Japan depicted remained a Shogunate, or maybe I'm reading too much into it lol

Hottori have more upkeep for units so much so that in legendary difficulty every turn is constant struggle to keep your money slightly above minus
But it's goddamn fun to attack your enemy from all sides with cav and mele infantry
It's not that hard if you trade with all the new clans and have a shit tonne of settlements with saki dens & farms :D

Out of curiosity I did a quick calculation, pilps lost 75 units and going with the 150 men per unit average, they lost about ~11,250 men, could less or more due to not knowing how big the units might be. (obviously pilps blew up more from units that didn't permanently die and later got them replenished) in comparison pilps took out 2133 units with yet again the 150 men per unit average that amounts to a nice ~320,000 enemy casualties. Presumably pilps didn't leave no enemies alive because there shall not be any witnesses, meaning that the enemy casualties are closer to that final number than pilps's casualties are. So yeah, pretty terrifying imo xD
Edit: I quickly counted that the enemy casualties are 28x times that of pilps's.

With all those mods its probably best you can quick save, i always forget to save my games, and when im playing something like hearts of iron 4 with a million mods, it tends to crash. Often.

Hey, y’all.
How do you guys like to employ the Hisho Ninjas on the battlefield? I never really figured them out and I’ve played the game for awhile.
Mass spam them, surround the enemy on all sides. Have a small force of yari charging them in the open to distract them, with one or two cavarly units to come in for an extra high speed flank, then as they are focused on your yari, charge all your ninja and cav from all sides, they will break within seconds!

All units can climb! The ninjas are hard to spot for the AI when they are hidden with their special ability, and they don't fall when climbing walls! You can essentially infiltrate a castle and start taking it over before the AI is to late to realise what is happening
