What a wonderful video! Oh my gosh, that vintage Omega!!!!!! It deffo stole the show for me. What's next if I may be so bold to ask? Thank you so much for taking the time to make and share this video.
    Best regards,

I have been pretty fixated on a moon phase watch since I received a Balmer featuring one last summer, and naturally it feels right to have it on a Speedy Moonwatch but I am not sure that I would go through with that in '18. I've always had my eye on a Nomos, or a linen dial day-date I also love the Speedy Tuesday edition of the Speedmaster.... So many good options with so many great resources to learn from 😜

That's also an amazing story about that Omega at the end. Unreal that it had your dad's initials engraved. Too cool.

The first watches that I ever had was an Omega, my first was a small Omega given to me by my folks in 56, the second was a gold Omega from 65 for my graduation from high school, and my last third and current watch is the Omega Seamaster from 64 again for my college graduation. The Seamaster and I somehow managed to get through the war both in one piece more or less. Back in the day, the Omega was said to be second best, but in my world, it's the only one to own. I still use the gold Omega for dress and the Seamaster for day to day.

Hey Goodman. You know i supported your channel. And discovered that u blocked me from commenting in your videos. Just because i called one of your paid watch reviews a homage to a iconic watch. Well done. You trully shown your trueself. Its amazing how a person that supported u all the way just tell the truth about a video of yours and u get triggered about it.

Dictatorship channel. Offencive comments is one thing. Another thing is a knowledged commentary that you decided to be an ignorant about it. And even worse hide it from others to judge by deleting it and baning me from you channel.

Wow just subscribed and see Urban Gentry here too! been following him for Donkeys...This is all a curiosity to me as I was thinking not long ago most young peoples are not interested in watches because there buried in their cell phones and can check the time at any moment. This is a lot of fun to see these watches and the Watch gang brings a new meaning to unboxing when you dont know what your going to get. great story and watches-thx

Nicely done ✅ My collection is quite minimal in comparison.... my addiction began in jr. High with my grandfather's time piece.... then I began to realize the importance of fine time pieces....my first was a casual leather strapped white faced GUCCI, then about 5 years later I invested in a polished bracelet timepiece by GUCCI as well... then when I moved to Brooklyn heights NY I fell in love with my first Hamilton. Then after I moved back to Southern California I invested in my tag Heuer ( chronograph 43 mm)

Well crafted video and you did a nice job presenting everything. Nice to see your love if watches too. In regards to your collection consider moving away from all those fashion style pieces and focusing more on lower end mechanical pieces. Go more for quality than quantity. And obviously keep those pieces with sentimental value. Watch Average Bros or Just One More Watch for some ideas.

Thanks for sharing your collection, it certainly is a journey. Regarding the next watch(es), go for Datejust. It gives you a chance to add some colour and brand diversity. I know you prefer white dials, but you can go with a champagne, silver dial etc. and still stay in the lighter range.

You could also buy a seiko diver and mod the shit out of it, which is a completely new obsession of mine. Looks amazing. Put in a domed AR blue coated sapphire, a black Tudor Black Bay inspired watch face with Tudor inspired snowflake hands, a matte black chapter ring, and a navy blue Submariner style bezel insert. Costs a little over $200 all together but looks like a luxury watch, and Seiko movements are a beast.

No such thing as a Timex weekender - that's a Timex Standard Chronograph 41mm. Not bad looking, but better off buying Swiss Made.
I've had many cheap watches before and suffered for it with 'good looking' cheapo watches that stopped working for unknown reasons and wasted £100's over the years when I should have bought Swiss or Japanese. The 2 most reliable brands I know without breaking the bank are Seiko and Hamilton.
Recently bought a Timex Easy Reader and still yet to test it - although the case feels of quality, unsure about the hands, seems weak in that area.

Buying cheapies like Timex and “piggyback Swiss cheapies” makes a collection not. About the only thing that qualifies as a half-proper watch there is the seamaster, and that too just.

meh, "vintage" omegas seem to be a dime a dozen. I picked up one for $600 in Japan once, and it's "vintage"ness is a dubious proposition at best. Also, I take back my earlier comment about the Seamaster. I mean, nothing against the watch, but a 007 version is just plain silly...
