I was there! I tried to shake Larry's hand so I had to push through the crowd to get up to the gates to be close enough to shake his hand. you can hear Austin ’s lady helper telling me to stop push as I was trying to get past the gates :p
I'm glad to see someone else appreciates the 90's Impala SS's. I've got a 96, and I love it; gets reasonable mpg's, and was [and still is] a very quick full sized 4-door sedan.
Lajcsi Vagyok Yea, I'm a little disappointed that GM did away with that configuration [as well as a lot of other manufacturers too]. It was more durable and; honestly, it was a little less expensive to transfer those processes to today's world. I doubt it costs less to design a transmission/transaxle to engine configuration rather than using the conventional longitudinal setup.
I do feel that same way washing/cleaning my own car, you get to know the car more closely. Your aware of any damage or repairs that needed doing but it`s the pride & satisfaction making your car look it`s best. It`s relaxing & rewarding to stay on top of your car.
Nice car I like the stingray better than the other vettes .. who the hell is this guy that seems famous never heard of him I guess I'm just getting old
You are right on point on so much here. You talk about the emotional bond you get with the vehicle. You do not elaborate much on this subject but I know exactly what you are talking about. I think it has something to do with the fact you are a detailer. By heart.
Wow man. It's hard to believe you came from a situation where you had to sleep in the back of your car. But I can see now that it's paying off! Great inspiration. Keep it up
I totally get the emotional connection part. That's the whole reason I decided to purchase a Stingray. It was the huge emotional impact of the car. So amazing. It's obviously not for everyone, which is a good thing. Thanks for sharing the video.
>expecting teenaged girls to know shit about cars >expecting people in general to know shit about cars I think your expectations are unrealistic, Bramo.
AP Actually, I was referring to the fact that girls think: "Red car = Ferrari." She could've asked: "What's that car?". I think you misunderstood me, AP.
dude..that had to have been one of the "douchiest" moments in your career. All that work for that kid? I love how they told him..."NO" sit your butt in the passenger seat. GREAT SHOW AS ALWAYS
as a detailer, i detail about 2 and a half cars a day, where i work. I get the whole " when u clean a car, u get a feel for it." even mundane cars, after you put in all the work into it, after a couple hours cleaning and buffing and fixing and touch ups. You get a real connection, if you will, to it. And when people come and buy it, you know that it's cause you put alot of effort to make the sale.
I totally get the emotion thing you were talking about. I have a Ford SVT Focus, it only has 170 hp, but it is the most entertaining car I've driven. The whole car has a sense of enthusiasm and excitement that just begs you to drive it harder.
I guess every company does have a golden moment in history this time it was Armor All I never would've guessed a detailer of this level would say Armor All actually has a pretty good product
I've been dead sick, it's snowing like crazy here today. I think I've watch almost all of AmmoNYC video's some more then once (track videos). I am just itching to actually do stuff to my car. My interior is good no problem there, just need some warmer weather to take care of my car and the energy to actually get some work done. I wish I had a bigger garage to work in.
I totally feel him when he talks about the bond that you feel when you wash a car. I personally talk to my cars when I wash them. It makes me feel like im putting that much more attention into the wash. And honestly.....the results are much better.
About the foam gun, i like to presink/rinse the foam gun soap storage so that the soap doesnt stick at the bottom that much. Sorry for my bad english greets from slovenia.
Could you do a detailed video on how to detail a classic muscle car, also some tips and tricks. I have a 1981 corvette and I enjoy washing it but I feel that I'm not getting everything and I'm not bringing out all the detail the car has to offer, thanks
I think anyone that cares for there car forms some kind of emotional bond, and even if you are cleaning or servicing someone else's car, that car bonds with you :D
Off topic, but what are your thoughts on the longevity, clarity, and clean-ability of windshield tearaways like race teams use during pitstops to save time instead of cleaning the windshield with conventional products. I have a lotus Elise and was considering this for when I get a polycarbonate windshield and my concerns are whether the wiper will scar/scratch the film. -Robert
I cannot agree more, when you say you don't really know a car until you wash it. I wish they would let you wash a car before you buy it - just to see if you really bond with and are like it. Great video as always, Larry. Thank you and keep it up!
Hi Larry, hope you are well and had a good festive period. A quick question on snow foaming. I am from the UK and have a snow foam lance that attaches to a pressure washer, which is slightly different from the one you use. Does the difference in type and pressure make any difference? Also I always rinse the foam off the vehicle prior to the 2 bucket wash rather than going over the foam on the vehicle. Is this correct?? Thanks and keep the videos coming.
Dude, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I love my S2000, its not fast or flashy, but it makes me feel good, I love driving it, it makes me happy and its my baby.
Hi Larry. I noticed your microphone is wired to the camera, which i guess can get in the way often. I got a set of Sony ECM-AW4 wireless transceivers that you might want to check out. Sorry if the suggestion is stupid or i am missing something. Great video, as always :)
Lots of technical details that you don't find in other car reviews. Just what I'm looking for. Thanks Larry. (and the part with the Bieberlike added some entertainment, which is perfect)
I had seen the new Vette on the New York State Thruway by Woodbury Commons, at first I thought it was a Ferrarri. What a Sharp car. Thank you for the video. I'm a new subscriber and enjoy your informational vids.
Hi Larry, which Ammonyc, Sealant product did you use on the wheels as I'm looking at your online and can't work out which one it is.. Thanks again for a great video
Great video as aways, Larry could you maybe do a video on how to properly dry a car, one of the most frustrating things for when cleaning a car and i think its the most important step
this may be a question that isn't asked frequently lol but where did you get those shoes from i have a pair that are the same but black and yellow and i wanted to get one in black and white the only thing is my dad gave me these shoes and he forgot where he got it from and i cant find them any where
Great Vid!!! Love your sense of passion on cleaning cars... I get the same feeling every time I touch my caddy lol I think this will def be my first vette
Hey Larry, Love the videos, I'm sure i'm not alone in thinking this, but I would love to see a video of you discussing the business and product development side of the industry.
Who is Austin Mahoney? Nice car Larry. It is probably my favorite Corvette design. The engineers did a great work compiling and putting in all their ideas and concepts on this car. Every part of the car has a function.
Another great video Larry. Although I don't think that kid appreciated it so much! damn kids. Also do you ship to the UK? I need that wheel brush. I also leave my wheel brushes in the water, but life expectancy is about 4-5 months before they kick the bucket. Thanks.
Hey, love the videos. Would love to see how best to clean and detail a cruiser style motorcycle. Like the last episode of DRIVE CLEAN but on a cruiser bike. Keep up the great videos Thanks Tom
If I had a nickel for every C7 I saw in a lumber yard, I'd have absolutely none. Also how long does it take you to do a basic cleaning on your SS? I used to have one and it seemed to take FOREVER.
Hi larry firstly a big shout from the UK to you love the videos. Two questions. 1. Are your ammo products over here in the UK. 2. When drying your cars you use hydrate spray. I use quick detailer but what is hydrate. Cheers
Car looks awesome! Pains me to hear at 18:26 "is that a Ferrari or something?". By the way, is this Austin fellow only popular in America because I haven't heard of him over here.
What's up Larry I totally feel you on the emotional attachment to cars the stingray is a beauty! It's my dream car and at 70k it's not out of reach. When I buy it I'll only use ammo products haha take care and keep up the good work.
I thought you were gonna be at SEMA, how do you find time to do everything? You should change your logo for the one from Superman LOL Great video as always!
I would have been the only one there like "Larry, Larry!!! Can you sign my microfiber towel!?!?" I didn't hear none of that x'D
I was there! I tried to shake Larry's hand so I had to push through the crowd to get up to the gates to be close enough to shake his hand. you can hear Austin ’s lady helper telling me to stop push as I was trying to get past the gates :p
Right! I would totally say screw the kid let me get a pic of the pro!
LK would never compromise a towel in that way :-)
Larry must've been flipping out when that kid was touching the paint lol
You can buy direct. I ship world-wide
yup...fixed. thx
I'm glad to see someone else appreciates the 90's Impala SS's. I've got a 96, and I love it; gets reasonable mpg's, and was [and still is] a very quick full sized 4-door sedan.
***** i remember when everyday amercan cars were rwd. good days it was. nowaday a 3.8 tourus and the newer impala ss are fwd :/
Great video as always Larry. Keep up the great work.
This video is awesome. I love how Larry knows so much about the car he is detailing. It just makes it that much better.
I do feel that same way washing/cleaning my own car, you get to know the car more closely. Your aware of any damage or repairs that needed doing but it`s the pride & satisfaction making your car look it`s best. It`s relaxing & rewarding to stay on top of your car.
This was a weird day, but so fun!
Its great to see someone with access to so many beautiful cars not be jaded. You can really tell how much he loves cars and detailing them.
you got it!

Keep it up
I would legit fly to NYC to learn some trick from you man. I've watched many of your UA-cam videos and learned so much! Thanks for making these!
Great job, the car looked nice...
1 hour time limit and still makes a video. I appreciate your dedication to detailing and your youtube channel a lot Larry. Keep it up
idk who that kid is but if i saw Larry id be freaking out lol
I totally get the emotional connection part. That's the whole reason I decided to purchase a Stingray. It was the huge emotional impact of the car. So amazing. It's obviously not for everyone, which is a good thing. Thanks for sharing the video.
Dude. Respect. Love to see someone with so much passion for what they do..
18:23 "Is that a ferrari or something?" some people...
girls be like: red cars are ferrari's
>expecting teenaged girls to know shit about cars
>expecting people in general to know shit about cars
I think your expectations are unrealistic, Bramo.
AP Actually, I was referring to the fact that girls think: "Red car = Ferrari." She could've asked: "What's that car?".
I think you misunderstood me, AP.
It doesn't look like a Corvette in person. I could definitely see somebody thinking it was a Ferrari, especially someone who doesn't really care.
I have mistaken a new C7 for a Ferrari from a distance on more than one occasion.
I did. I sent you a reply. Thanks so much bud
dude..that had to have been one of the "douchiest" moments in your career. All that work for that kid? I love how they told him..."NO" sit your butt in the passenger seat. GREAT SHOW AS ALWAYS

18:24 "is that a Ferrari or something?"
So good!
Who is Austin Mahone? Man, Im getting old. I am glad to see the young generation getting into Vettes.
I totally get the emotion thing you were talking about. I have a Ford SVT Focus, it only has 170 hp, but it is the most entertaining car I've driven. The whole car has a sense of enthusiasm and excitement that just begs you to drive it harder.

When I get my car, I'm gonna take care of it just like Larry does.
The casino my dad works at has a 2014 Stingray you can win on penny slots. One of the first 25 off the line. Beautiful car.
Can people really win those cars? The odds must be astronomically against them.
KingPNW Yeah it's been there for months. I think it is still there. But supposedly somebody will eventually win it
Se7enAte i smell rigged
ihategoogle+ No it was perfectly possible. Just EXTREMELY unlikely
It's not rigged
can you do a video showing or detailing your impala? it looks great and i would love to see a video of it!
A job done with passion! Well done mate! Keep uploading videos like this.
nice
I totally feel him when he talks about the bond that you feel when you wash a car. I personally talk to my cars when I wash them. It makes me feel like im putting that much more attention into the wash. And honestly.....the results are much better.
You are the only person that can make a new car look better than it was on the factory floor!
Larry why don't you put hardly any videos up anymore? And where are the episodes for Drive clean?
There's never a guy with an RPG when you need one....
About the foam gun, i like to presink/rinse the foam gun soap storage so that the soap doesnt stick at the bottom that much. Sorry for my bad english greets from slovenia.

Extra thanks for showing us the C7! Sad that all that work was rained on.
Awesome video Larry
Nice Job on the Video. Thank you.
I think anyone that cares for there car forms some kind of emotional bond, and even if you are cleaning or servicing someone else's car, that car bonds with you :D

7:50 the "beat up" Impala!!!!!
It looks brand spankin' new.......
yeah to you, but this guy is a professional detailer who has an eye for this shit.
Hi Larry.
I noticed your microphone is wired to the camera, which i guess can get in the way often.
I got a set of Sony ECM-AW4 wireless transceivers that you might want to check out.
Sorry if the suggestion is stupid or i am missing something.
Great video, as always :)
So this foaming gun is normaly used with common hose? no WAP pressure needed? where can I buy it?
This is the type of guy who i’d trust to have my car washed when i had a million dollar car! nice job man
I would like to know if it is better to clean the wheels before u wash the body of the car?
love it as usual!
Lots of technical details that you don't find in other car reviews. Just what I'm looking for. Thanks Larry. (and the part with the Bieberlike added some entertainment, which is perfect)

Nice, love the new corvette, good job on the detailing looks really good
Great video as aways, Larry could you maybe do a video on how to properly dry a car, one of the most frustrating things for when cleaning a car and i think its the most important step
Awesome Video... Really Nice Job... Was a lot of fun to watch, Love that car
this may be a question that isn't asked frequently lol but where did you get those shoes from i have a pair that are the same but black and yellow and i wanted to get one in black and white the only thing is my dad gave me these shoes and he forgot where he got it from and i cant find them any where
Doing my senior project on detailing! Thank you Larry
Where is the link to the foam gun?
You need to do a video with a Gen 5 SRT Viper. If you wanna see an awesome US Manufacturer Paintjob, and a visceral experience
Is there a 43ason why you do not use a Power Washer while your clean cars? Just curious thats all
Wow big fella, don't mount the poor Vette...LOL
Larry is the soap you put in the foam gun for foam? mine doesn't get that foamy when i do it with shampoo.
at 16:35, were you like "get your hands prints off the door"!!!!
Great Vid!!! Love your sense of passion on cleaning cars... I get the same feeling every time I touch my caddy lol I think this will def be my first vette
I'd like to see more of that Impala. Over 200k? How many opticraps have you replaced? Enjoyed the video. Thank you.
Hey Larry, Love the videos, I'm sure i'm not alone in thinking this, but I would love to see a video of you discussing the business and product development side of the industry.
How would one of those rubber pet hair remover brushes work on that carpeted wheel well?
Can you please do a video with your Impala
Has anyone heard of Austin Mahone?
I think hes from one Direction
Who is she?
hes a pop singer like justin
looks like a gay pride spokesperson
no idea but when those girls were yelling my name, i didnt know how to feel...
Who is Austin Mahoney? Nice car Larry. It is probably my favorite Corvette design. The engineers did a great work compiling and putting in all their ideas and concepts on this car. Every part of the car has a function.

Also do you ship to the UK? I need that wheel brush. I also leave my wheel brushes in the water, but life expectancy is about 4-5 months before they kick the bucket.
Thanks.
So did you win the mercedes sprinter competition in the end? If so, would be cool to have a video about it.
Jesus, that impala @ 200,000+ miles though... I'm subscribing right now!
Hey, love the videos. Would love to see how best to clean and detail a cruiser style motorcycle. Like the last episode of DRIVE CLEAN but on a cruiser bike.
Keep up the great videos
Thanks
Tom
If I had a nickel for every C7 I saw in a lumber yard, I'd have absolutely none. Also how long does it take you to do a basic cleaning on your SS? I used to have one and it seemed to take FOREVER.
He just put all his fingerprint marks all over the car after you waxed it. Nice job, kid. Geez.
Hi larry firstly a big shout from the UK to you love the videos. Two questions. 1. Are your ammo products over here in the UK. 2. When drying your cars you use hydrate spray. I use quick detailer but what is hydrate. Cheers
Love your cars! The Porsche and Impala are looking proper.
What's wrong with that 2013 Dodge Viper? Why did it change the logo?
Love the videos Larry. Do you have an Australian distributor or can we buy direct from you? Cheers!
Hi Larry, love the videos! Thanks for all the help bud really appreciate it. What wheel brush did you use on this car?
Do I need special soap for the foam gun?
WAIT he blurred out his name he said justin not austin at 18:30
I have no idea who Alex is. I feel old :(
TheTarrMan Im 18 and dont know who either of them are. You should feel special not old lmao
I’m 16 and I’ve never heard of him
Car looks awesome! Pains me to hear at 18:26 "is that a Ferrari or something?". By the way, is this Austin fellow only popular in America because I haven't heard of him over here.
I wanna buy some of that tire shine for my truck where can I buy it at
What's up Larry I totally feel you on the emotional attachment to cars the stingray is a beauty! It's my dream car and at 70k it's not out of reach. When I buy it I'll only use ammo products haha take care and keep up the good work.
Finished up the latest podcast. Looking forward to the upcoming SEMA content Larry!.
I thought you were gonna be at SEMA, how do you find time to do everything? You should change your logo for the one from Superman LOL
Great video as always!
