Great Video on cleaning / detailing the 69’ Pontiac LeMans 350 Convertible. I recently cleaned / detailed a 1976 BMW R90/6 900cc Motorcycle. The motorcycle had been stored inside of a garage in Nevada for many years. The motorcycle had 26.800miles when I purchased it. Hours of cleaning/detailing the wheels, engine and frame paid off as the bike turned out beautiful. It is very satisfying doing all of the work myself. I did enjoy your video as you explain the steps required to achieve the best results. 😊

As a young boy my father taught me exactly how a car should be washed, (inside and out). I spent many weekends washing his 2-door '66' Chevy Caprice, (427 Turbojet). If I could give you guys one bit of advice... my dad would not be happy with those "off-white" sidewall tires. I use to use S.O.S. brand steel wool cleaning pads, (not even sure they are still available). These pads were heavily coated with dried detergent. I would lightly moisten them enough to get a lather and then go to work. It would normally take one pad, (and a lot of elbow grease), for each tire, but keep in mind these tires hadn't sat for 30 years. The whitewalls, no matter how dirty, would gleam bright white after rinsing and wipe down. Just MHO. Great video. Brought back many memories!

I've watched this video three times over the last couple months. Seeing the cleaning of a C-2 427 vert is so satisfying. I was 20 years old when this car was built so it brings back a lot of memories. I was able to order a new 69 Nova SS back then but a C-2 427 was out of my budget.
Oh man, I want that car!!! The '67 coupe was the BEST of the Stingrays! A few years ago I watched a very excellent special on the Stingrays. They spent some time discussing the '67 coupes as it was their last year, and spent some time explaining how the Corvette guys at Chevy who were manufacturing and assembling these cars went to extra pains and lengths to make sure they were the best ever produced! That car with the very desirable 427 is a real find! It would fit into my garage perfectly! Oh yeah, great video and information. It's knowing these tricks that makes or breaks this detailing work!
Thank you for sharing these beautiful cars with us. We don't get to see so many beauties in one place. So happy to see your passion for classic cars. And your videos are so enjoying and relaxing, yes relaxing. They help us to forget about what's going on in the world. Thanks!
One of the most impressive detailing videos I've ever seen on UA-cam. You are real pros. Watching you two guys polish away with earbuds in after you said "time to put on an audio book and spend the next three hours polishing" was awesome.
Modern technology is a wonder. With my ADHD, my iPod and earbuds helped me keep my job when I was sweeping floors as a carpenter apprentice when I had mouths to feed.
Has he got any trans ams like a 1979?or something like that, i would love to see one of them detailed, Smokey and the bandit 1 and 2 are my favourite movies

It’s called investment. The Right cars gain value. That 427 corvette does not depreciate. That’s why. I’m sure he’s obviously a car guy so he invests his money where his heart is.
I will never understand why people let these cars sit unmaintained for decades! Most of us normal guys cant afford these cars and get sick just watching these classics being forgotten and or abused. God bless you for the work you do cleaning up decades of neglect....

The dealership owner let my dad drive that car around the entire summer and my brothers and I got to fly around in that incredible vehicle. Please restore the blue Superbird!
I am in tyre industry and amazed with the tyre condition. More people refuse last year tyres these days fearing their safety. This video will make them understand that unused tyres produced 33 years ago are as good as those produced 6 years ago.
Owned a 67 coupe...327....350 horse. Did some work to the motor and figured 425 horse. Loved the car but then had two kids and sold it to someone from the Toronto vette club. My kids....now in their forties...still asked why I sold it. I told them there was no room for baby stuff ( strollers, wooden high chairs, wooden play pens....remember those?) not to mention the police frowned upon two toddlers crawling around in the back. Bought a station wagon! Wish I could afford one today but, as you know, they are very pricey. I told my wife that if we ever win the lottery there’ll be one in the driveway.

I'm in the US and never heard the word until it was used in the first Austin Powers movie (which I can't believe my dad let me watch, as I was only 6 years old when it came out). So that has always been the dominant meaning of "shag" to me. Apparently in golf when you go and pick up your golf balls it's called "shagging the balls" so that was always pretty crazy to me :P

I've watched this video three times over the last couple months. Seeing the cleaning of a C-2 427 vert is so satisfying. I was 20 years old when this car was built so it brings back a lot of memories. I was able to order a new 69 Nova SS back then but a C-2 427 was out of my budget.
I'm a simple man, Ammo NYC notification, I click 👍🏻
I love to see you guy giving a life back to these oldies with incredible detailing work.
I love to see more of your detailed paint works.
You’re a wizard, Larry. So happy that you found your calling with AMMO.
You're a lizard, Warry!
Rebirth of such a beautiful car. That’s totally crazy how good she’s looking now. Dream car!
Thank you for sharing these beautiful cars with us. We don't get to see so many beauties in one place. So happy to see your passion for classic cars. And your videos are so enjoying and relaxing, yes relaxing. They help us to forget about what's going on in the world. Thanks!
Local detailers be like 'I'll wash that for $40'
40?! What detailer you go to? I usually gotta pay like 150 minimum
Xmrks bad detailers
@@FranciscoLopez-qj6nj lol that's the joke. I am detailer and always see ads for cheap cleanings.
@@FranciscoLopez-qj6nj watch your car By your self you lazy
i charge 35
One of the most impressive detailing videos I've ever seen on UA-cam. You are real pros. Watching you two guys polish away with earbuds in after you said "time to put on an audio book and spend the next three hours polishing" was awesome.
Modern technology is a wonder. With my ADHD, my iPod and earbuds helped me keep my job when I was sweeping floors as a carpenter apprentice when I had mouths to feed.
These first washers videos are so gratifying, to bring something very special back to life, just amazing, Rj in Oz
How about getting a clip of the owner's reaction to the "after",probably he will adjust selling price once he sees it looks so dramatically better?
From what I understand the owner wants to remain anonymous. I think he's selling the cars through people that work for him
@@zekegrimm6137 do you know how to contact anyone selling these vehicles?
@@JT-un7dc I believe he added the owners email in the description
The owner probably has no interest in cars. Only the money they are worth.
@@JT-un7dc I think if you watch the first video about the collection they give you a way to get in contact with the seller
Other people: Found this 100k car in a barn, bought it for $10.
Me: I have been in 100 barns, and nothing but poop in all of them.
😀😀😀
You're not only a great craftman and technician, you are also a great teacher.
Has he got any trans ams like a 1979?or something like that, i would love to see one of them detailed, Smokey and the bandit 1 and 2 are my favourite movies
For sure.
Love how he clicked the breaker on and the music started. Larry’s in the Club in the VIP...
Thank you for being so genuine in your videos and thankful to your viewers.
It's amazing at how much a simple detail can really make a car seem worth so much more. From before and after the wash I would have expected a few couple thousand more on the price tag
They missed the white strip on the tires tho. U can buy white stripe or white letter brightener and makes your whites pop
Can only imagine a car like that rolling down the road here in Australia - they simply don't exist
Shannon McKenzie they don’t exist here in the states either. It’s probably been 20 years since I’ve seen a C2 out on the road. They’re all put up in some wealthy clown’s storage hanger.
Charles Wall I saw one in Arlington Texas, just the other day
@@failranch9542 just saw one in Auburn Washington
@@failranch9542 C2 corvettes aren't that rare or they'd be selling for a lot more than $150k, and that's for a showroom quality resto. most go for well below $100k.
saw two c2 yesterday here in Norway.. being 17th of May is constitutional day here, the AMCAR clubs etc take out all they're cars to the streets for show off :-)
Please, don't speak less. The content you put out is top notch and fascinating. Your joy and passion is intoxicating. Your an inspiration! May all your hopes n dreams be blessed to fruition 🙏
Damn this one was so satisfying to watch.

So, that's how they store the cars in Forza...
Professionalism at its finest, that's how you treat an old lady, with respect 🔥
I am stunned. What a diamond in the rough. Amazing job.
I can't even imagine how someone could have so much money that he would have this many cars, wouldn't use them, let them sit for so many years, not sell them, and not even bother to roll up the windows and cover them with a tarp.
I would have honestly loaned these to car museums. If I can't drive them, at least I know they are displayed and are constantly being taken care of.
Or use a bubble like Tony Stewart does ua-cam.com/video/PQpIyp7TD80/v-deo.html
Man if I had that many cars I’d just let people borrow them. Pay half my insurance and pay for the gas and she’s yours lol. Sadly I’ll never be that rich and I only want 5 vehicles (a few projects/race cars)
@@randytheracer3664 I mean on the positive side, these car were preserved for the future pretty well. I'm sure some of these wouldn't be here today had they been daily-ed. Some people let their cars sit outside!
It’s called investment. The Right cars gain value. That 427 corvette does not depreciate. That’s why. I’m sure he’s obviously a car guy so he invests his money where his heart is.
That is a professional job. Made the exterior look like it came off the production line recently, the interior was top notch as well.
I certainly appreciate you guys working on these "time machines" so hard. Excellent 👌 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
kinda shocked the brakes weren't completely locked up after a 30 year sit.
Probably left with the handbrake off, pretty common practice when you know the car will be sat for a while :)
it probably wasn't sitting for that long, they just wanted to sell the video.
Joe Schmoe probably wasn’t exactly 30 but a while and sat inside
30 years is what they are telling us we don’t really know lol
Handbrake off and stored in the dry, brakes will be free!
That car should be in the Museum of Modern Art. What a masterpiece.
This is the best magic trick I've ever seen. He turned a pile of dirt into a pile of cash.
Love that body style my favorite, beautiful color and beautiful detailing. The vette shines on.Great work.
What a gorgeous, gorgeous car and an amazing rehab. Mmphh. Chef's kiss.
Every time I watched AMMO I ended up washing my car
Hope you're using AMMO products to wash it! ;)
Right? I just thought “that’s what I’ll do today” :)
@@AMMO-NYC I need some of that wheel mud in my life. I hate dull looking tires.
Haahahaa
LOL nice one, bro !
I will never understand why people let these cars sit unmaintained for decades! Most of us normal guys cant afford these cars and get sick just watching these classics being forgotten and or abused. God bless you for the work you do cleaning up decades of neglect....
perfectly said brother.....
That body style is my favorite of all Corvettes. Just Beautiful. FANTASTIC JOB GUYS ‼️‼️. Vinny 🇺🇸
Next "We found a chariot that hasnt been washed in thousands of years, watch as we make it show room ready". Love the work.👌💯
That Corvette is Beautiful, I wish they still looked like that.
After window tinting for 20 years - never use fabric softener when washing your cloths. It will take forever to get it streaks out. Never clean windows in the sun or when the glass is hot. I just found your channel - well done Sir's.
This warehouse of cars you keep revisiting is the most amazing situation, every time you post a video from here I'm so glued to it, this one was particularly awesome! 33 years tho, wow this beautiful Corvette looks so amazing after the detail, just can't say enough about how awesome this is to watch!! Whoop Whoop!
It’s not amazing. It’s sick. He’s a hoarder with money.
After all of these years detailing you would think you would recognize how much benefit noise cancelling headphones have over air pods.
I had hoped that after this deployment I'd finally get something like this, maybe not such a high end car but something. As life would have it a classic will forever be out of my reach. Living vicariously through your videos, keep up the amazing job that you do!
Just wow, I have watched many detailing shows but this is just on another level. Great job guys
This is normal. No idea why it’s supposed to be special in any way.
I would like to see the Maserati biturbo . Bet the wood interior needs a special kind of care.
The old schooler in me would have scrubbed those whitewalls with Brillo pads, but the rest of the car look absolutely amazing! Top notch job!
I can just hear luigi from Cars saying “white wall tires”
I was a tad bit disappointed that they weren’t bright white at the end.
You-a mean a-white-a wall-a...
That looks like a nest actually, all that toilet paper that is.
100%
Definitely mice
That’s what I thought
mouse nest, yup.
And I'm sure those mice did other damage. Wiring and such.
Thank you from Australia, well done Larry I just love these older restorations.
Can you please restore that daytona. I actually cried when i saw it there 😭
Its a superbird just fyi
I second that request! The Superbird is the dream car of my youth. My dad sold cars part time during the summer and there was one at his dealership. The dealership owner let my dad drive that car around the entire summer and my brothers and I got to fly around in that incredible vehicle. Please restore the blue Superbird!
It hasn't moved in 30 years? A part of my soul is dying at the thought.
I am in tyre industry and amazed with the tyre condition. More people refuse last year tyres these days fearing their safety. This video will make them understand that unused tyres produced 33 years ago are as good as those produced 6 years ago.
@@aaronfuentes6645 They're still 30 year old dry rotted bias plies. I wouldn't trust them.
Me:doing school sees upload
Drops everything to watch it
me too haha
I love how they completely ignored the ultra rare 1969 Dodge Charger 500.
Exactly
Let face it , whichever car you're talking about you're ignoring 299 other rare cars 🤣
Wow guys...What a beautiful detail job! Seeing the "before" Stingray,I would have never guessed that your results would have been so dramatic. I've never seen silver lacquer come back like what you did...NICE JOB!!!
buying these cars and just sitting on them should be a crime
I thought so to until you find out he's selling them so others can enjoy them.
M .Crotty His cars, his money. It’s none of our business. Live your own life without condemning others.
blueberrycobbler we would disagree on that
Time passes fast before you realize what you've done or haven't done...
Right ? The worst thing you can do to a car besides outright crashing it, is letting it sit for a long period of time.
When someone took hot wheels collecting to another level
Thoroughly enjoy watching these videos, learning so much each time ..almost like doing an apprenticeship online. Very informative as always and a pleasurable experience when you can use these skills on your own car at home!!
I bought a hoodie on the day this released, pretty stoked about it not gonna lie, only arrived two days ago, never been so dissapointed 😂 it just screams cheap, the texture of the print, the feel of the fabric, was deffinitely not worth €50, i love you Larry you have taught me alot and i always look forward to your videos, but it will be the first and last time i buy ‘merch’ sorry 🙃 maybe get in touch with the guys at teespring who produced it 🤷🏻♂️
All UA-camrs use 3rd party companies to produce merchandise from China, kinda expected
TheCleanFreak expected better from the Netherlands
Katurra Details America is made of China lol, just for the future 👍🏻
He should make merch with bunker branding I have some demo ranch merch have had it for two years still looks great and clean after all that use
E mail him about it
I love how Shag doesn’t mean what it means in the UK as it does in the US😂
ahahahah i was just thinking about that 😂😂😂 just gunna go shag my car
I'm in the US and never heard the word until it was used in the first Austin Powers movie (which I can't believe my dad let me watch, as I was only 6 years old when it came out). So that has always been the dominant meaning of "shag" to me. Apparently in golf when you go and pick up your golf balls it's called "shagging the balls" so that was always pretty crazy to me :P
Maybe it does 😉
Minge carpet is the best.
That made me laugh 😂 WOW! I was thinking to myself WTF
I love how your the type that if the product works it works you show that not every single tool you use has to be expensive. And I really believe people should share that more with people that’s just getting into Detailing.
I love how he talks to us like we’re about to wash our 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
