    Here's a technique that keeps the knot off the hook loop, increasing hook sets. When tying your snell knot on your lead hook (hook that you would tie clinch knot on) I use a simple uni knot and just leave enough tag on the end to act as the dropper to tie your second hook on..this keeps the knot from sliding around on the hook and more open.

    How long of a leader do you use between hooks? What size hooks do you prefer using when using beads?

    Hey guys maybe try a bobber dogging (from the bank) video, and show the differing options for weights like Dave's tangle free, and spinner wires with hollow-core. And show us what mono the bobbers slide best on, attachment to line options, etc... thanks guys!!

    When using a bead on a rig does the color or opacity matter? Also what is your favorite size bead? Please use mm in sizing.

    Why do you fish the bead so high above the hook? New to bead fishing myself, so curious.

    • @adamkenny128
      @adamkenny128 4 роки тому +8

      Hook follows the bead into the mouth. Usually hooks fish on lips instead of inside the mouth or throat/gills/guts. Try it out

      Old post, but commenting for new viewers, many states require a minimum distance between your bead and hook.

    When using a bead rig, can you dress the hooks with salmon eggs/worms or is it better to just rig those without the bead rig, and under a float normally? Planning on fishing trout for first time and would like some tips. Thanks.

    I tried this recently. The extra hook and leader made it hard to cast without getting tangled. I feel like it got tangled almost every time I casted. Any tips/advice on how to avoid this? Technically I was using a yarnie with a bead dropper.

    Can I do this double rig setup with a worm and a bead or is that going to cause issues that I’m not aware of? If so, does it matter if the worm is first or last down the line?

    Don't waste your hard earned money on fluorocarbon and braid as I did for years. This stuff is rugged and the knot strength is super strong.

      A few different brands. For hard beads we use Brads Beads for soft beads we use a million different companies. Steelhead stalker beads are good, lured incognito beads, and more!
