    Dude you are great at tying these knots, however you need to SLOW down and please use proper terminology rather than things like, “the other one”

    I give up. tried 5 times. It still makes no sense. maybe you could re-make the video using 2 colors so we can see the pattern better?

    This was my first Paracord project. I just made this knot as a lanyard knot on my knife. The knot looked like spaghetti when I "finished" tying the knot. But after tightening about 4 times, it looks amazing. Thanks for your helpful and informative video!

    This is a 2 strand extended foot rope knot that goes over2 under 2.i can tie it but the way I go about it is different to the way you tie it.the way I go about it is first I tie a 2 strand diamond knot which I extend then I can make a over2 under 2 diamond knot or after tying the extend diamond knot I invert the knot by moving the knot up over it self in other words turn it inside out which makes a foot rope knot then I complete the knot.

    Very attractive knot. But seems to me to be a long way to go for a knot you need to use both ends to tie. Wondering why under "Items Needed" you did not list the C.S.Osborn knot nail or the two boards?

    Great vid any tips on trying to get it on a knife cause you have to already have the bits attached to it but you have to put it on the rod so would I like put a book next to it or something to hold the knife

    • @Paracordguild
      @Paracordguild  6 років тому +2

      Good question!
      Well, I'd still slip the cord through a hole in the knife, then secure the two ends onto a dowel rod using a rubber band. As long as you secure the blade, you should be fine. Duct tape may also help keep it in place.

  • @ArnfinnRian

    This is not a good video! And heres why; You should have used two different colored cords for this. Its virtually impossible to follow your instructions when the only way to identify one strand from the other is "this strand vs that other one". There's no lists of requirements neither in the comments or early in the film. You know knots, sure, but I am unable to learn them from this film.

    One of the worst on the web, sorry but you don’t explain whether it’s the left working cord the right working cord that you originally started with when you say, I’m taking “one of the cords” and you don’t say a word about actually spinning the mandrel that you’re using so you just make it very simple and unexplained
