    Thank you. I watched a couple of other videos on this knot, and the guys made it seem harder than did. Much appreciated.

      Well, there are a few ways of doing it. Some are harder than this. Plus there is the very similar wall knot that some people call the snake knot.

    Every other ttutorial I've seen involves flipping the braid 180 degrees and undoing a previous knot. This is brilliant and I will definitely be using this method from now on.

    Well I can tell you one thing, you are the only one I’ve came across on here that explained it in such a way that was so much more understandable! Thank you for that so much! A lot of these people on here don’t want to speak to tell what they’re doing so it makes it so much more harder to follow what they are doing! Thanks for sharing your tutorial! 👍😉

      The last channel , I watched a guy make 90 sec paracord Keychain, watched it in slow motion, his damn thumb was in the way , & opposite from the camera. Found another channel, camera is 4 feet above , so you can easily see how to make the COBRA bracelet, Paracord Keychain , was so much easier to understand & the direction of the knots was the same way , as doing it myself .. I definitely followed this lady :) A paracord actually saved my life, when I accidentally left my lights on , the mountains unfortunately had an automatic at the time , no one was around, had to build a fire just using my knife & a rock cause inside the paracord there are white strings that can Ignite pretty easy ontop of dry shrub.. Well I stayed warm for the night, tell I was able to wait for the sun to come up , walk down the mountain, then around 10am found someone on the road to give me a jump. . Thats one thing the automobile industry should make mostly stick shift vechicals, cause you can jump start em if, you accidentally leave the lights on, but vechicals will be all battery operated by 2030, = no more fishing at High elevation lakes , cause no charge stations will be up in the mountains... batteries put our more toxic emissions... crazy times , indeed....

    Thank you! I tried several videos and my snake knots weren't looking right until I tried your straightforward method. No flipping over or weird double loop at the top and the the knot doing it your way turned out perfectly for me. Thanks again!

  • @RdTrpBrgr
    @RdTrpBrgr 2 роки тому +7

    Just in case somebody hasn't realized it yet: Most snake knot tutorials require you to manipulate BOTH ends of the cord, but this method allows you to complete the knot with only ONE end of the cord. That means, even if the other end is already tied down, you can still make the knots.
    The tied-down end gets to be the curled up side, at the beginning of every knot. The free end then gets to complete the knot.

    • @-iceraptor-
      @-iceraptor- Рік тому

      If the one side is tied down how are u gna make any number of loops with it to start the snake knots. Am I the only one confused by that..

    • @RdTrpBrgr
      @RdTrpBrgr Рік тому +1

      @@-iceraptor- watch the video again at 0:39 - pretend that the end of the "rope on the right side" is tied somewhere (that is, you don't have access to its end). you will notice that you only need the end of the left side to make a snake knot. it's the exact same thing at 1:56. hope this helps!
