What a great reaction! Keep it up, Nick! Also, was this a physical copy of the movie, or did you stream it? It has to be an early copy; in more recent copies, the phone number Max gives to Allison is blurred. I guess a lot of people called the number and the producers didn't know it was a real number.

The scene where they are running and celebrating the Sanderson sisters "demise" with the fountain in the background is where they filmed Friends theme song I"ll be there for you 😁.
I can actually see him playing this role and yes he was amazing in what’s eating Gilbert grape but I do think his popularity would’ve skyrocketed if he actually did star in hocus pocus
Even on Halloween, wearing an authentic police uniform (that isn't an obvious costume), and acting like a real officer in public, is a very serious crime.
It boggled my mind when I learned that. I saw this movie when it came out in the theater... but of course, when I started watching NCIS it was yeeeeeears later so I didn't recognize him.
34:06 Oh my god, why was that so funny, when Winnie says, "Hello. I want my book." Bette Midler is amazing in this. I mean, all the witches are and don't get me started on how great Thora Birch is, but I adore this moment. This moment and everything that Billy does.
Fun Fact: Actor/voice Actor Jason Marsden - best known for playing minor roles on TGIF/Miller Boyett Sitcoms and voicing Max Goof in The Goofy Movies voiced both The Cat AND Voiced Dubbed over the actor that played the cat's human counterpart!
Another fun, "witchy" movie is Practical Magic, which has some scary parts but I especially like because the family of witches is given a back story. It's less a family/kids movie, more of a chick flick with comedy, romance, drama and magic.
Fun fact: there's an actual "Witch House" in Salem that was named that because it's the only house with direct ties to the Salem Witch Trials still standing. It was the home of one of the judges. The exterior certainly lives up to the name, though it's just a normal house inside. I toured it when I was in Salem a few years ago.
I can't tell you how happy I am that you caught the fact that they were casting a spell on the group of people with the 'I Put a Spell on You' song. I can't tell you how many people I know who missed that, and who actually think that that particular part of the movie is the cheesiest moment of all because to them it seems like she's just singing a musical number out of nowhere. And I have to be like "Don't you get it?! Every time they cast a spell, they don't just recite the spell, they _sing_ the spell - they use singing to cast spells! And she was using the song to cast a spell on all those people!" So glad that you caught that❤️❤️
And the fact the parents and other adults were *still* dancing at 5 am when the Sanderson Sisters were thought by the kids to have died by fire is a sign they are still alive. That, and Thackery was still an immortal cat.
