You could also use the USDM GE-vvti oil pump that come out of IS 300s and GS300 it comes with the provisions for the CAS and it's around $100 U.S. along with the trigger wheel for those cars. You can find those trigger wheels at the junkyard for very cheap.
Im getting excited to start doing this. Just recently blew the stock motor in the 240sx so time to start working on the NAT GE and drop it in. Good work man! Keep it up, i always look forward to your videos

Yes I am getting bogged down with my day job and manufacturing rather than concentrating on my UA-cam channel. If the parts give me enough money I can quit my Coach driving job and do UA-cam full time. It’s just a case of getting to that stage.

Hey neighbour! 1jz boy from across the ditch! How do you think stock 2jzgte JDM turbos will perform with a 1JZ GE VVTI? I've built my engine with GTE rods, ARP studs, will have 9.5:1 compression with a GTE headgasket etc
Is the pricing on your site in Australian dollars or is it US dollar? I love that your turbo mani is a t3 flange cuz that's what I need and all the ones online I'm finding are t4 flanges. But majority is for the gte and very few ge manifolds but would need an adapter to t3. So I'll def be looking into purchasing your manifold as it's what I need but my question is does your manifold do twin scroll as my turbo is a twin scroll.
I'm definitely interested in the single turbo manifold, though I was curious if there was enough clearance with the GE Plenum or if you'd also need to get the adaptor for the forward-facing intake.
So if we go with your 2JZ-GE stock GTE twin-turbo manifold - we don't need a wastegate because the Twins are internally waste gated, right? ^ ~$400USD savings right here BUT, if we want to run more than the stock boost up to ~18PSI, we HAVE to get a fuel cut defender and a boost controller - right? ^ ~$700USD cost right here Thanks!!
great video. Can we just run an aftermarket crank trigger system with no cam position sensor? Assuming standalone ecu and batch fire/wasted spark. Seems like it would be easy enough to do. And I'm no talking a small trigger wheel behind the timing gear. I'm talking a larger one behind the crank pulley.
No you cant just run a crank angle sensor. You can run with just cam angle sensor though. 4 stroke need a absolute position, which you wont get from the crank, as it spins at half the rate the cams do.
