That is the exact power range and (hopeful) response I want for my 98 SC. I'm not looking for a high revving screamer, just a little more daily street power.
Same here
Thank you for getting to this Dan I've been anxiously waiting, I'm sure many have this type of build manifesting this year and can benefit from your info, good luck to all this season 🏁🏁🏁🏁 Godspeed
Thanks dude
i saw the notification at work you have video up,,i waited tell i get home and enjoy it while eating,,,and not disappointed at are,, love this sc build,,
I can't wait to see what new Rad Part is coming out? If you have a JZ you must Rad Parts! 💪
Awesome video, I'm doing this build in my garage right now for my 2002 is300, this will be great knowledge to use as a reference.
Same year Bro 02 Is300 this is super helpful
@@adammtzmiller yes, I'm glad to see more 1st gen is300 and 2jz ge content being put out there.
Had been waiting to see what’s going on with it! Great work.
Looks like an ultimate driftweek setup :D But overall I'm 100% fan of setups with smaller amount of top hp but bonkers response - can't wait to see the effects too!
I’m hoping this does exactly what you just said
I’m running twin EFR 6758s on a 5.3L LS. Not exactly apples to apples, but a little less than 2x your displacement. It made low 700s whp on 18psi with over 600wtq by 3500. Transient response and boost threshold are amazing. It’s the perfect street car turbo. Shouldn’t have an issue making 400whp on an 2JZ and with VVTI, it'll have even better low end.
That sounds like a crazy setup dude
Rad industry is the bomb that is the kinda build I've been wanting to see.
I can’t wait to drive it man, I’m super excited
I’m hoping to do this on my SC
Can't wait to hear that motor eat some tires up! Always liked the look of those lexus sc's.
I hope I can put some time into it soon
Every part is 1000 bucks than you can bring it to a Dino for 1000 bucks than get your wrap for 2000 bucks than you can drive it
Nice work all! Now I feel more comfortable about my 2JZ with EFR7670 0.83 T3. I'm aiming for 500whp only, but I was unsure about choking the motor at high RPM. What do you think Dan? So far it feels super responsive, but haven't been pushing it.
It will choke out up too for sure, but it will have great low end torque
Can you use the block drain on the exhaust side of the engine as coolant supply for the turbo
Great work on the videos
Can’t wait to see this running
@1:01 Whoa u guys have billet timing belt tensioners, wow 😍. Oh QUESTION, Do I have to remove the Mid-pan to change the Oil pump or can that be done with the Mid-pan still on?
@10:59 can you show the processes of running the cam covers through hot water, Had mine sandblasted as well n want to be extra safe. plz thanks
Why do you recommend the turbo oil pump when you dont have oil squirters in the block?
How’s the flow on that turbo manifold. Looks like a similar design to the eBay one I had on my K20 and the back pressure was insanely high.
I have a lexus sc300 with a 2jzgte vvti 366 turbo
3 1/2 full exhaust
44mm wastegate
50mm bov
4 inch intercooler
3 inch intercooler pipe .
But still on stock injectors and stock ecu .can that hurt my motor if I drive it like this ?
Can't wait to see this outcome
That's the same engine from the 2001 is300 right? I just bought one yesterday n I've been looking up how to boost the engine and still make it some what reliable
Dan do you prefer vvti or non vvti?
Did you stick with high compression ratio with a stock ge headgasket?
Ready for part 2 bro 😁
plotted the turbo on matchbot with e85. if you can get this tiny thing to spool 30psi at 3k-4k rpm, you should be able to make 600tq. at 3k 30 psi is right on the surge line. 4k at 30 psi it look comfy sitting in the 72% island. 5k there is no way to hold 30psi and you're going to taper off hard. best i could do to keep the compressor map on an island was 22psi tapering to 17 right at the choke like. the engine delta pressure was negative from 4k on staying round -8 till redline where its pretty bad at -15 and only making 17psi of boost. that means exhaust manifold pressure is going to be greater than 30 psi. yikes. going to be real hard to keep the wastegate shut to keep boost pressure up. i estimated a pretty good decrease of ve starting at 6k and having 85% at redline due to manifold pressure. peak hp should be around 500 @5k and peak tq 600 @4k. redline you're going to be down to 490hp and 340tq. this is all rough estimates so well see
Any updates on this car?
Dan you the man
Could of just got the bw s257sxe. I got up to 614whp with a .88(or.82) a/r dont remember.
Way cheaper than efr.
Spools quick. Makes awesome tq.
I’m going to always pick an EFR if I can, but thanks for the info. Borgwarner is supporting this build with the turbo, soooo I think this is the way to go
@@RADIndustries if they support it than price isnt an issue. For sure
thank you for the video!
What manifold is that ?
Exactly what I want to build
I have same engine 2jzge, I just don't know what's the part number for the ati dumper, I would like to keep stock belt but there's a v2 version also titan v2?can you please help me out thanks 😁
What cams are you running in the head?
update on the 2jz is250?
I knew it! Haha Keep it up man!
I didn’t know ATI made head studs and boxed them in ARP boxes? What’s the angle torque on those?
Haha 😆, I must have looked at the ATI box and miss spoke. Meant to say ARP

Bro when I come across some doe. I want you to build me 2jz gte.
Link everything
log back pressure you might be surprised. 400 tyre @ 15 psi should be easy IF your making 200 tyre Na...
Ak-47 rev limiter tune or nada.
I wondered what happend to it....
What happened to the Sc 😢
try to keep it budget friendly for us NA-T wannabes who are hoping to learn
It’s going to make more than 350-400 😂
rab 🦁 askeri
oh, I found something to help!!
so should i convert my non vvti 1995 2jze ge to do a turbo
Swag
the dude talked like he was drunk
Nice for someone who's got $10k or more to spend... Pff
Shitt makin me sleepy your voice🤦♂️
I had the same issue with my oil feed. I tried machining the turbo and manifold but still too tight even with solid mounts. I even machined down the driver side solid mount still too close. So I converted it to a Banjo fitting. That was the only way I could fit it without hitting my strut tower.
What chassis was that on?
