    For those of you with 2JZ GTE Non-VVTI running on stock ecu and igniter, you will need to connect all 6 IGF from coils with TACH and IGF from igniter. This worked on my North American spec Supra TT6.

    FYI, when using a standalone and Bosch coils the IGF pin should be grounded to the cylinder head

    • @supravworld8777
      @supravworld8777  4 роки тому

      Dan MC the IGF pin isn’t needed with a standalone ECU.

    • @alldanameswheretaken
      @alldanameswheretaken 4 роки тому

      SUPRA VWORLD Bosch Motorsport would disagree lol

    • @supravworld8777
      @supravworld8777  4 роки тому

      Dan MC if you are putting a standalone ECU into a car that already has COP they probably suggest to ground the wires out as there is no pin on aftermarket ECU’s to run to. If you are making a COP loom you would not bother spending more time and effort putting in a forth wire that does nothing. Just do it your way though if you’re nervous about that. GTR35 coils and many others don’t even have a forth pin. It is good practice to seal the empty pin in the connecter with a blocker.

    @Supra vworld, just spent 400 bucks buying Yaris 90919-02240 coils and there is no way they fit on a 2JZGE, they don't fit under the throttle body. You're talking out your arse bud. If you build a custom FFIM for a grand then that's about the only way you'll get these in but then you'll lose the long/short runner beauty of the GE manifold. Classic big mouth rubbish.

    • @supravworld8777
      @supravworld8777  3 роки тому +1

      Hmmm, please keep the comments as a discussion not an abusive rant.
      The engine in the video is a GTE, not a GE.
      At no time have I said that Yaris coils will fit under the GE throttle body. If you have asked a question in the comments that I have miss understood, then I’m sorry.
      You now need to watch my other videos and realize that I’m the only person that makes a bracket to hold your Yaris coils to your head.
      You should have done your homework before accusing me of miss truth.

    • @SlidingLeper
      @SlidingLeper 3 роки тому +1

      @@tort-tortoise1819 No bud, you'll need to get modified R35 coils ideally. If you really want to fit these you'd need to get a different intake and throttle body and then sort out throttle cables, TPS and IACV + wiring. Will cost you much more than picking up a set of modified new R35s from garagewhifbitz for £300. Personally I want to keep the GE intake because it's a variable intake which performs both as long runner and short runner because of the butterfly valve in the intake.

    • @SlidingLeper
      @SlidingLeper 3 роки тому

      @@supravworld8777 It's a comments section and I stand by all of my comments. If you don't like it that's your problem. With how proud they sit I doubt you'd even be able to get the finishing trim over the top on a GE if that is what you were infact referring to.
      RE: The only person that makes the brackets I need; You're hardly selling anything special there bud, but now I get this channel is really only here to help you flog some brackets. Good luck.

      Mike Pao LS coils can’t run the tacho, you will have to buy some sort of adapter. It is faaaarrr easier to run Toyota coils and they are better. With Toyota coils you simply join all 6 IGF wires from each coil and wire then into the igniter pin as shown in the video. Remember if your car was N/A you need to do the dash cluster tacho mod, the same as if you put a GTE in a GE car. You bridge a small wire on the back of the cluster itself.
