Thermostat problem is what I have now on my 99 Continental. All that work just to replace an $8 part. Thanks for the play by play video dude. Atleast I know what I'm getting myself into.

THANK YOU!!!! For a truly in depth; bolt by bolt; DIY video. I've changed a lot of water pumps, but, never one on a transverse engine. I wanted to farm this out to my mechanic, but, he got a couple young mechanics that returned my car unfixed twice. Now I must DIY. You have saved me a lot of grief and frustration. Ah no coughing and plain and simple explanatory video. I gave up on replacing the thermostat while i was draining the radiator. I love my continental but i hate working on it.

I bought it in FL on line pickup for 1000 dollars, 189,000 it's been over a year surpntien belt replacement ex ex nothing major. Drove from Florida to Baltimore of course take easy. !! 1000 dollars guys. Not at all mad at the water pump issue mad as hell at the lack of help to keep what I love my baby to keep representing.ford.. sad sad sad
@@CantKillMe I'm going to drop it since mine car needs a motor mount and a new oil pan gasket. Thermostat and power steering pump. Is there any risk to letting the freon out at home. I know it's "illegal" but I can live with that.
Does the Lincoln get a lot of views? Is that why you say it's popular? If that's the case I have one that's popular too and I don't know why. It's a stupid craftsman 33 inch walk behind mower and it has like 500 views or something which I usually average 30 to 50 views on shit
