My heater wasnt working so I went and replaced the water pump and thermostat and they were in very good condition...I already took it out so i replaced them. The resolution was a radiator flush!! However I had a good time filming the replacement of the pump and thermostat!! DIY and SAVE!!

That looks like a '98 model, like mine.
Why did you not remove the fan cover and radiator hose? Would have made your life a heck of a lot easier. ESPECIALLY with a stuck water pump.
What year is your truck

sounds like tow music :)
I had to look up TOW music--Japanese fiddle music? Thanks for the comment and view! please hep a brotha out and subscribe. :)
Has a rubber O ring...put some oil on the o ring before installing.
Why did you change your water pump in the first place? Symptoms ??
I was having an issue with my heater and part of troubleshooting replaced it. Turned out to be a blend door. I live in Texas so only about 1 month it’s unbearable I deal with it. AC is a work horse for the other 11 months of heat
letting anti-freeze spill on the ground? messy!
I didn’t do that!! I captured it in a pan colored as the concrete i disposed of it appropriately !!:)
Did it not come with a gasket
Billy Mettlen I don’t remember what Timestamp you looking and I’ll try to remember.
Im replacing my water pump and it came with one. I was watching your video and didn't see you you use one. Just the the inside seal.
Please dont forget to subscribe!! I did not use a gasket and my kit definitely did not come with one...hmmm I looked at vid and at exactly 3:46 and 3:49 I dont see a gasket either. It would have come out when I disassembled it. I dont recall scrape-ing it either. I can tell you that I do not have a leak whatsoever.. if you have a gasket you should use it!
Billy Mettlen hello I have one question, after I idle my Ford F-150 4.6l automatic for 3-5 minutes the upper radiotor hose doesn’t get warm, I’m talking about the big first hose you see when you open the truck, after a 15 minute drives it’s hot but I believe that is jus the engine heating it up
The o-ring provides the seal. No gasket required on this type of water pump.
