Yeah. 1 year tops, I'd say. Anything longer than that will leave you frustrated.

Would it be a good idea to share with your audience more about your own (relevant) background and experience in Vietnam?
Did you marry a Vietnamese wife? Do you have children in Vietnam? Since how many years did you live there?

      Good morning :)
I've talked about some of these things you asked about before in older videos
With connections I have here, my positions on some matters, and just out of respect for family and those that choice not to be in the public eye i do not talk about Family in Vietnam any more.
My life in Vietnam the country though apx 10 years
My life in Vietnamese culture is (My entire life - 7 years)
My baackground in work in Vietnam has been 6 - 7 years teaching and Visa/exam testing, and 4.5 ish years owning 2 businesses, working in the legal field and being handsome.
      Hope it helps some

Good video but I disagree with some of the stuff you said. I have a Vietnamese wife and I have a few friends that are married to Vietnamese citizens and none of us had to pay the parents. My wife is from the country side. They rarely see westerners and some get really excited when they see me. I often get invited by random people to eat and drink with them. Good times!

Hey hey. THats great stuff the country side is some of my fav. The payment stuff, yeah i talked about its something that comes up. It's not always and a LOT of more "Modern" i say that loosely don't even bring it up. If it is something you'll hear about it early on for sure.
I am glad to hear you didn't deal with it, personally I find it a scam as i said many parents use it as a pay check to sell off their children...To me thats wrong in so many ways
Random parties though, these are the BEST by far...Legit my best times in VIetnam have almost never happened in the cities, always country side life. Probably why 80% of my time in VIetnam has been in these places...
      Def my addiction

This is the best video on long term living in Vietnam. Thank you, David! You're probably thinking of Kyo York, the American who became a Vietnamese music singer.

I had no idea who Kyo was but no thats not him, i am taking more in the 80's and he was American. This guy seems like he is EU and he does a LOT of English. Interesting ether way to learn about him, i shared it with some Vietnamese friends here.
Glad the Video helped though i kept it as real, no b/s and to the law as possible without being deported, attacked, or "Disapeared" :)
