I have lived here for 13 years, in Đà Lạt. I own K'BE Wood Fired Pizza and BBQ, with my Vietnamese wife and children. The government is fair and the people support our business. Could not be happier! Thanks for showing our country!
I speak good English and have traveled to many countries around the world. I find Vietnam very suitable for foreigners and supports foreigners doing business.
In 1995, my friend who had lived in Thailand for 8 years, and had a few small businesses, decided to move to Vietnam to do business there instead. Although he died 15 years later, he felt the people and the government in Vietnam were much more acceptable to a foreigner living and doing business there than Thailand ever had been, all the way to the end.
❤️ thank you for sharing and I’m sorry to hear your friend is not around anymore. I think a lot of business who have/had business in both countries would underline that unfortunately. Thanks again 🏆
As long as Vietnam is still ruled by the oppressive and exploitive Communist regime, her potential remains greatly diminished. For any 1% that wants to stay, 99% of the population wants to get out, and many have risked their lives doing just that (for example, 39 doomed lives found in UK container truck recently on the news, and that's only what's been reported), unfortunately. Yet another shocking and also recent example is that during the Covid pandemic when almost all countries assisted their citizens with financial aids in one form or another, the corrupt and murderous Vietnamese Commie regime saw it just as another opportunity not to help but to exploit its ruled citizens even more, essentially making money over the corpses of its citizens by presumably killing at least 30-50K of them, due to grossly misdiagnoses and being thrown into barbwired unhygenic living quarters for isolation, so that they had to sleep on concrete floor, even next to filled trashcans, with inadequate toilet, food, water, or medicine, like animals (searching hard enough, one is able to see shocking video clips on Facebook though the regime tried hard to crack down the leaks by Vietnamese citizen journalists), with the fake nostril Covid test kits, mislabeled as approved by World Health Organization (WHO) in Việt Á scandal, colluded by at least 4 different government agencies (Y Tế , Khoa Học, Công Nghệ, Quân y) and the top Politburo members, including Nguyễn Phú Trọng, Phạm Minh Chính, Nguyễn Xuân Phúc. Murderous Vietnamese Commie regime even had a thug murdered Christian pastor Giuse Trần Ngọc Thanh, like it has done with many other pastors across the nation. There is a reason why the current Commie Vietnam ranks at the bottom of the world in freedom of speech, (true) freedom of religion, and freedom of the press, barely above Commie China and Commie North Korea. There is no true freedom of religion in Commie Vietnam, as this corrupt Vietnamese Commie regime only authorized the fake organizations headed by Commie monks, many of whom were Commie Party officials, and those religious organizations not approved to be infiltrated by them or headed by their Commie agents are accused of malicious and nonexistent crimes and banned, with innocent religious leaders arrested and jailed, as in the recent case with Thiền Am Bên Bờ Vũ Trụ, a harmless Buddhist meditation monastery, for simply having many followers (hence, more influences that the regime fears it can't control) than the Commie Party's officially approved ones. Similarly, its passport ranks at the bottom, 89th out of 111 countries for a reason, barely above North Korea 104th rank. even below many African nations. For comparison, South Korea is at 2nd rank. That's what Republic of South Vietnam would have likely been ranked among at least the top 10 had it not been invaded and occupied by the North Vietnamese Commie terrorists, aided by Commie Soviet and Commie China. Search "cuop dat dan" (meaning "land-robbing of citizens") to see millions of footages across the country from North to South, spanning for decades, dated back to Ho Chi Minh's bloody land reform 1953-1956 that killed nearly 1 million North Vietnamese in only 4 years, or 250K people brutally slaughtered in torturous painful deaths (like being shot, stabbed, mutilated while being alive, or heads being plowed over by water buffaloes while bodies being buried underground) each year on average to rob their lands and homes. Even today, if the rightful owners refuse to have their homes or lands robbed, the ruthless Vietnamese Commie terrorist regime simply jail or massacre them, have tractors run over their bodies or openly assassinate them in their own homes. When it comes to robbing, these barbarian Vietnamese Commie bandits even prey on each other, just as the recent case with then 84-year-old Mr. Lê Đình Kình, a 55-year-Commie Party veteran from Dong Tam, near Hanoi, that got shot dead at 3am in his own home by the Vietnamese Commie terrorist regime. When his wife Mrs. Dư Thị Thành refused to lie about the incident as ordered, the Vietnamese Commie terrorist police brutally tortured her (see more details from "dandongtam" on Facebook). The corrupt Vietnamese Commie government officials routinely dine on lavish gold-plated Salt Bae steak $100K per meal with blood money not just from taxpayers but also from robbed-lands and robbed homes recently drew international condemnations, while many Vietnamese citizens, including elderlies in their 60's and 70's as well as kids as young as 6's to 16's selling lottery tickets on the streets to survive on $2-3 per day. Even Phạm Nhật Vượng the richest man in Vietnam (via his VinGroup) made the bulk of his wealth mainly by colluding with the barbarian Vietnamese Commie regime in selling their robbed-lands from Vietnamese citizens. Travelers to Vietnam in her current form (not at all like this before the Communists took over) should keep this in mind. Behind the beauty of the land and smiling faces at popular tourist destinations, there are a lot of darkness and tears, bloods, sweats, sorrow, horror, and sufferings all over the country.

Every culture like to thinks they are the most hospitable. But the winner hands down are the natives on Sentinel Island. They really know how to take care of guests.
From California, worked all over asia since 2007. Traveling, the people always made me return. Worked here since 2019. Built a house, opened a business, in nha trang. Got a wife, love the family. I do love working all over vn though.
Awesome! That shows once more how open Vietnam is to foreigners who like to start something 😃 the people are super friendly indeed. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us
The single greatest decision I made in my life was moving there at 26 with no plan and 2,600 in my bank account. Spent 8 1/2 years in Saigon, moved to Japan, and China. Now my plan is to come back and settle down with my Vietnamese girlfriend. I can't say enough about how awesome Vietnam is, the people, the food, the lifestyle. I've never felt more at home anywhere in the world.
This may help a little to replace your lost MacBook OR you may just like to go out, have a great meal and a few quiet ones on me. Much deserved. Cheers champ !!
Wow Steven! This means so much to me 🏆 this definitely helps with the replacement of my MacBook so I can carry on doing what I’m doing. That’s so generous of you! I really don’t know what to say ❤️
VIETNAM is developing, the life is comfortable, the happiness index is high, the people are friendly and close, especially very friendly and always help foreigners. In addition, VIETNAM is also a very safe country. , along with very rich and diverse cuisine, the scenery in many places is very beautiful, you should come to feel it.
@@sloine-q5l Safety here in general, not just traffic, I mean VIETNAM is a safe destination, even for women traveling alone, even presidents and generals of other countries can travel. walking around, drinking beer, drinking coffee, right next to the road, like President Onbama once ate and drank beer at a small mandarin next to the road, you should remember that motorbike insurance in VIETNAM is mandatory, so you say you don't have insurance. is not correct, I don't know what country you come from, but you have a negative, even negative view, especially you emphasize too much about traffic, is it necessary to emphasize that? I hope you see more positive things and enjoy a happy vacation in VIET NAM.
What's great about Vietnam is that they are genuine. It's in their nature. But the best thing is they have literally kicked ass on just about every superpower that tried to dominate them including China! We have so much to learn from them.
Went to Vietnam from Sweden at the end of june this year (2023) and have to agree on several points.. 1. EVERYBODY were friendly and gave great service. As a tall white bearded man they often gave us tables closer to the enterance to show other tourists that it were ok to eat there -but the food were so great everytime so why shouldn't they? :) Everybody were so proud of their food and glad that I liked it and could eat without a fork. What I DIDN'T like though is that I have been doing intermittent fasting for 10+ years and that's all lost if going to family in Vietnam.. the breakfast is like a dinner! -And no way I could say no to the food.. 2. The traffic... no joke.. I really felt that it's so nice after returning to Sweden.. Sure it's chaos when you look at it -but it works. There are lights and rules but it still works. When comming back to Sweden I just think "JUST GO!!!!" alot of more times than I did before. :'D 3. The food and living... AirBNB is the key.. Hotels are nice as well -but the airbnb is on another level... just a pincode and there you are. Then just download the GRAB app and all the food is there for you. I want to go back so bad just to have the fruits that we had every day -but can't have here. :( 4. The people.. This goes back to #1.. but everybody is so happy to show you their food, culture and areas. As a foreigner visiting in 2023 with my girlfriend (who's Vietnamese) everyone at every place we went to gave us (me) extra service to make sure we had a great time.. I don't know if it's because I were a foreigner or if it's just how the service were... but damn.... the people just take you in as a family member in a second if you talk to them and love to speak about their country. I have always loved Italy and thought that I would like to retire there... well, that's nice.. but no. I want to move to Vietnam and work to the day I retire. And that's comming from a Swede who thinks that 15*C is too hot...... Only con I have..... I don't like using cash as payment -but the people in Vietnam love cash. Pro: There are alot of places to take out cash so it solves itself -but it's a extra step.
To confirm no. 4, would be easier if you’re a foreigner I reckon. But if you ride a motorbike and fall, people will come and help, ofc always be aware there are aholes around trying to grab your wallet, but well Vietnamese they could look rude in the beginning sometimes but overall very kind and warm
most of them accept mobile payment now, even street venders! ( mostly in the Southern part i believe). but you would need an account in a local bank since they dont have Apple pay here. Google pay works but never see anyone accept it (thats weird) I once paid for my meal half in cash and half by bank transfer haha
@@kyle9697 We used GRAB most of the times because we had a kitchen where we lived, but my girlfriend had the cash and used it when we went out. I used my card whenever we were able.. Hanoi and Ha Long Bay were no problem with cards but we didn't buy alot from venders.... in Ho Chi Minh there were no need for cash anywhere we went -so I think you may be correct.
Excellent interviews all three however the first one Keith from Australia absolutely a must watch. I loved it and sort of hoped it would go on and on. The Italian guy was right that his people are highly strung and in a way boisterous so a change in culture and surroundings would not be easy to adapt to. He was saying that he is more relaxed, chilled if you like, from the experience of change in lifestyle. More of the locals should be watching these videos as they are all upbeat and showcasing the beauty of Vietnam, it's food and especially its people. Keep smiling champ 🤩
As a Hanoian living in Hochiminh city, I really want more foreigners to live and work in Vietnam, especially people from Western countries. Vietnam is a socialist country led by communists. But, socialism or capitalism are just ideas and theories, the important thing is the people who operate it. Many African or South Asian countries also have capitalist or liberal democratic systems like Western countries, but people operate are not Westerners, so it is impossible to make the country like the West. Communism is the same when in the hands of those who run it like Pol Pot (Cambodia), Stalin (USSR) or Mao Zedong (China), it is different from Hochiminh and Vietnam. The country of Vietnam and the Vietnamese people are not like propaganda in Western countries and Hollywood movies. The more foreign tourists come to Vietnam, the more they will see the truth..
I hope to retire in 6 to 8 years, and Vietnam is a possible destination for me. I have a friend that immigrated from Vietnam with his family when he was a child, and he plans to retire there so he can live like a king during his retirement, and he encourages me to do the same. I'll definitely check the country out. It was good to hear how easy it is to get the monthly tourist Visa. Not long ago, another UA-camr mentioned Vietnam would begin offering a 90-day tourist Visa, which will make it easier for expats planning to live there.
Nice one mate 😁 yeah the 90day visa would be a game changer. I’m glad you’re friend motivated you to think about this “living like a king”. You’ll love it ;p
I do have a friend from college that will soon move to Australia. He's been in a long process to be approved to immigrate there. I'll be sure to go visit him for a long vacation and see what life is like there.@tranduy2668
@tranduy2668 Let me guess, you're a southern overseas Viet who is all anti-socialism no matter who practices it. To recommend the Philippines...nope. The food is terrible, their culture/tradition is non existent since they embraced Western culture too much...yet aren't exactly Western. Lots of poverty there, compared to Vietnam, Vietnamese people work hard vs Filipinos whom lazy, beggars, etc. There's also the sex ick factor that exists there. I've seen a couple of videos recently of Westerners cutting their trip early (EllisWR, Ride with Gabi, etc.). Many other vloggers won't talk about it, but you get the feeling they just don't like it there compared to the rest of SE Asia. Plenty of vloggers have loved Vietnam and said it exceeded their expectations. Ask "Adventures of A+K" (was their first time in Asia and said they want to come back), "Shot in the Dark Travel" (was living in Thailand then discovered how much they love Vietnam so kept making visa runs to make more videos), "Sammy and Tommy" (planning to come back in the next few months), "Mike & Ashley" (already planning to come back again this year), "Flora and Note" (already came back and their other vlogging friends, "2Passports 1Dream" were back here again with them on a quite non vlogging vacation), etc.
Hanoi is most polluted city in Southeast Asia, and that's one of the reasons Covid-19 have been killing way more Vietnamese than citizens of neighboring countries, as persistent pollution severely damage lungs and make them vulnerable to infections. The young, the old, and the handicaps are permanent 5th class citizens under Commie regime, as the disadvantaged members of the society are often taken advantages of by others with no safety net nor societal protection whatsoever (fairly common sights are tattered pre-teeny kids and old men and women in their 60's, 70's begging or selling lottery tickets on the streets), and almost everyone 95% of population get abuses by the utterly corrupt and brutal Vietnamese Commie regime as their lands can be robbed by it anytime. Even foreigners can only lease the property but can never own the land it sits on. Even during the pandemic when most countries provided aids to their citizens, the ruling Vietnamese Commies not only didn't provide aids (only about 1% received them and those were usually the members of privileged Commie ruling class or their own associates. Yes, they took citizens' tax money to selectively give it to themselves) coordinated with each other to exploit the citizens even more with their dangerous nostril test kits (made by their shell company Việt á) that they falsely claimed of having been approved by World Health Organization (WHO). The result was deadly, as tens of thousands of people died needlessly. Yes, these ruling Vietnamese Commie lowlifes saw the pandemic as another great opportunity not to help but to make money out of the already indigent Vietnamese citizens most of whom could barely survive after being steered like animals by the brutal Vietnamese Commie military police into barbwired, unhygienic quarantined areas sleeping on the floors with inadequate food, water, toilet, beds, and medicine. All true. Do your research. Caveat emptor! Search for patients lying on concrete floors in hospital corridors and even under beds from Google Images. Torrential floods essentially all over the country half of the year, while HCM is a sinking city. Do deep research before making decision. Good luck!
@tranduy2668 thank you for your response. i'm a vietnamese diaspora. my parents immigrated into the united states and was born and raised in california. i used to want to retire in vietnam but you're right a lot of the communist party kids moved away and live in western countries now. that's very telling. i had a roomate that have a father in the CP and she left permanently to stay in texas. recently, when i visited vietnam i see so many people selling lottery tickets and a lot of poor people on the streets. sometimes we choose to see the good side while not acknowledging the bad
Isn't it ironic how people from a poor country who lack many things can be generous to people who live in First World countries who have everything in abundant.
Oh they're not all generous here at all! A lot are very selfish. The older Australian gentleman is smart and living in a small rural town, those people are usually very nice. The big cities not so much
People forget what’s important when they have money. Ego, confidence, selfishness, arrogance shoots up to the moon. They start looking down on people who dont earn the same income. The treatment crumbles, along with morals and values.
Living in Vietnam gives a different perspective. This country may be poor by the western idea. In reality, far from it. Everyone has what they need. Homelessness is visually non existent. Contentment and happiness is the norm. Treat these lovely people with respect and they open their hearts and are beyond generous.
I have been living in Ha Noi for 6 months. I prefer HCMC and central Vietnam more but the weather is cooler in Ha Noi during the summer. Cost of living really depends if a person lives near tourist areas or further away. Also whether you are paying daily, weekly, monthly, or you have a long-term contract. I strongly agree that foreigners most likely will need to be more laid back and more patient if they want to stay here. Google Translate works well but I recommend learning to count in Vietnamese and learning some other words to help you socialize. Vietnamse is a tonal language. A tip I have is to treat the language as almost musical and understand the written accents to stress or not stress a sound are critical. I also recommend to learn to be "street wise" here if you want to avoid scams or being taken advantage. Most people are friendly and kind but there are some that prey on new foreigners or those that flaunt their wealth.
Hello From Vietnam . Can you go to Hanoi City ,, and country side Ninh Bình . Hải phòng , Quảng ninh , Tuần châu Hạ lòng bay . so Beautuful .. and food Great
@@ThuyNgoc-yc5dm Xin chào! Thanks for your suggestion. I have been coming to Vietnam since 2002 and I have visited many countryside towns in the past. I am older now and spoiled so I prefer the cities more but I still will occasionally travel to the countryside. The problem with traveling in Vietnam is the poor highway system. If there's a holiday or bad weather then the highway can't handle the traffic. Things have improved since 2002 but still have a long ways to go. Buses are an option but they are often noisy and uncomfortable, at least for me 😉
@logikbinah772 You are doubting me because you looked something up online versus someone who has lived in Vietnam for 7 months and traveled all over? English is understood by many younger generations but older Vietnamese might not know much or feel less confident in conversations. It also depends whether you are staying or visiting in a tourist area or going to rural areas. Most small stores, small markets, small restaurants will not be able to speak or understand much English. A lot depends on their education level and their job experience. Many Vietnamese learn English in high school or at a university; however, the focus from most English teachers is in reading and writing with very little conversation practical instruction. This makes most, not all, Vietnamese hesitant to talk in English unless it's part of there daily work where foreigners are often customers or co-workers. Google Translate is helpful but not perfect. I still recommend learning some Vietnamese, especially numbers, to facilitate buying things and bargaining.
@logikbinah772 I know myself but I guess you don't. I am that "type" of guy and you are also but you don't see it. If you really weren't that 'type" then you wouldn't have left me a reply. You couldn't admit that your comment was "crazy" and not mine so you hoped to just try to get the last word. BTW, I am very blessed. Thanks.
Vietnamese people always welcome world cultures to live and work, regardless of color, race, come to experience and work with friendly and affectionate people
I was very uncomfortable with the Locals or Vietnamese on my first 2 visits. But after a 3rd visit, i just really love Vietnam and i visit many times. Right now, i just really miss the Noodles, the best in Asia.
I lived in Vietnam for 2 years back in 2006-8. Was teaching in HCMC. An awesome experience. I did work hard and 6 days a week, so no holiday and I was staying in cheap accommodation, far from District 1 . This meant a lot of motorbike riding for commuting. Met lovely people. Was forced to learn some Vietnamese to survive where I was. Now retired, I just wished there was a retirement visa or similar to allow an easier stay for expats. Border runs can be tiring and restrictive if monthly. I must admit, being a teacher in Vietnam, other expats with businesses and professional jobs tended to snob you and look down on you as a low status expat. Just my experience.
Aaah I see what you’re saying. I think there are some English teachers spoiling it for the rest. Some teachers are there only because they run out of money while more teachers wanna help and sincerely teach:) I’m glad to hear you experienced Vietnam😍
Vietnamese language is written in ABCD , easy for foreigners to read. Many foreigners should be able to read what is around them, whereas in Thailand they don't even know what ก is
Thanks mate 😁 I’m glad you enjoyed this one. The next one is jus with one American guy who was born in Vietnam and lived all his life in America. We’re also going into it a bit deeper than usual so hopefully you’ll enjoy that one to 😁 coming up! 🏆
I enjoy your interview a lot. I had chance to work and learn from some wise Western teachers and bosses, their mindset on enjoying life, travelling, working, seeing world always inspire me, especially with older generation. Respect!
Fair play to the ozzy guy, I hope I’m as sharp and healthy mentally and physically at his age to go traveling to Vietnam with no general plan… I love it!
Pros and cons everywhere I lived there for nearly 10years and most of the things I loved except the air pollution that's coz I was living in Saigon. Biggest tip learn the language to at least an intermediate level so your experience becomes even better ...it's a slog at first but becomes easier after a year or two of studying and using it! It was the best decision I've ever made learning Vietnamese!
I've been to Thailand. I was impressed. Was such an eye opener to see a non-western country way of living ❤ Always wanted to go Vietnam. So many says, it's more value than Thailand. With the high rising costs of Western countries, my plan is to retire in a south east Asian country. Maybe even run a small business.
Thailand is nicer, Vietnamese culture and aesthetics are a bit...ehhhhh.... It's easier to stay here however, and there's no xenophobia that you get in Thailand. On the downside Vietnamese are often rude
the rent fee is depending on where is the place you want. The place like TayHo is very expensive because that is the center place of Hanoi. Have many potential good for business there so the price is going high as well

For that NZ men you now can apply for a longer stay in VN like 3months -6 months visa . You need to let Vietnamese travel agent to do it for you with 5 years visa multiple entry unlimited come in /out during 5 years . I’m Vietnamese living in Australia with Australia passport/ citizen . I have used that 5 years visa. Each entry is 6 months stay .
You are very clever in interviewing 3 people of 3 different ages, they have different goals and needs and it can give you an overall view of Vietnam....If you interviewed one more woman this video would be perfect. But no matter who I am with, I always hope they have the most comfort with Vietnamese life and culture.
Thanks! I was unfortunately I didn’t have enough time to find a lady for this episode before I left the county. I agree it needed a female view as well :) thanks for watching and saying hi 👋
@@JayandSarah I think more so for Vietnam or other countries where there is a huge difference between the wealth of the poor and the rich. In America, even the average poor is considered wealthy in Vietnam. There are no major social programs in Vietnam for the very poor, especially for the older people.
Vietnam is a good place in terms of what you earn and spend. A good place for 1 person in Hcm would cost you around 300-450$, you can find cheaper of course but everything depends the area, your preferences e.t.c. In general you can expect to spend around 400-600$ per month for more or less comfortable living. I wouldn't say that local people are so nice and friendly, in 5 years I have never had a Vietnamese friend, most of the time I even don't know names of my Vietnamese co workers, neighbours in your building apartment most likely won't even say "hello" to you. Vendors outside most likely will try to rip off seeing you're a foreigner. If you come to VN, most likely you will end up hanging out with ppl from your country or other expats. Another con is that HCM is very polluted and stuffed with motorbikes, it is almost impossible to be a pedestrian here. Even if you just want to walk, you have to take your bike and drive to the nearest park. In general if you want to make good money, and live in a relatively cheap place, come here but don't expect too much.
Most Vietnamese people are friendly but a little shy. They are afraid that you will think they are taking advantage of you. Ask someone to do you a simple favor, then thank them by taking them out for coffee. I guarantee you will have a friend with a 90% success rate.
He is not retired there, he is a tourist he needs to exit the country every 3 months or so and nobody knows if he comes back..he probably stays in Aus more than half year

The first interviewee said he had to go in and out of Vietnam due to the 30-day VISA limit, did you know you can pay a small fee in Vietnam (aka VISA extend) to continue to live in Vietnam every time it expires? The real question is how long your home country allows you to be outside of your country per travel.
@@Chai_Travel,It is an extension according to regulations, not a bribe. You can renew it yourself, but to make it easier, there are visa companies that do it for you at a listed and unobtrusive cost.

I’m sorry. I don’t have any visa advice for Vietnam at the moment. Though I can provide you this official website. Maybe you’re able to find a suitable answer here. I hope it’s useful 🙏: evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn
Let's get something straight, foreigners cannot just go and live in Vietnam, it doesn't work that way. Also you cannot retire there because Vietnam has no retirement visa. Now I've been in Vietnam several times and it is a gorgeous country and folks are friendly, and it's cheap. Of course there are business type arrangements but these are complex. The only people who can just go there are ethnic Vietnamese who have grown up outside of the country such as Australian Vietnamese or American Vietnamese etc.
Wow the very first foreigners that I know until now which pronoun the "Việt Nam" word most correctly way, I believe so. It usually like "Vie~et Na~am" , I mean they will stretch the syllable when they say the word.
Just been in europe. Brussel is the same. People throw trash, garbage all on the streets, but there is people who wake up early morning to clean the street.

Here in Vietnam over 15 years , and its awesome ! Every single day of it !!!!❤❤❤
The single greatest decision I made in my life was moving there at 26 with no plan and 2,600 in my bank account.
Nice! Haha you're riding the wave brother!
Thanks!

Come and feel it. I like the way you say that. Thanks for watching :)
@@sloine-q5l Having seen that crazy traffic on the streets, I was thinking about it. And then I saw your comment. Thanks for the info!

What's great about Vietnam is that they are genuine. It's in their nature. But the best thing is they have literally kicked ass on just about every superpower that tried to dominate them including China! We have so much to learn from them.
agree with your comments - They kicked Pol Pot's ar$e when he tried to invade them ... that was the downfall of that evil b#rstard
3. The food and living... AirBNB is the key.. Hotels are nice as well -but the airbnb is on another level... just a pincode and there you are. Then just download the GRAB app and all the food is there for you. I want to go back so bad just to have the fruits that we had every day -but can't have here. :(
Vâng. Tôi ghi nhận. Tôi là người Việt Nam. Và tôi cảm ơn nhận xét của bạn.😊😊😊

Haha nice recap Steven :) hopefully this reaches out also to the lovely local 😍 thanks for you support 🏆😁 keep on smiling!
Hello everybody ! Nice to meet you all ! I ' m Vietnamese , live in Ho Chi Minh city now.
Hi
Thank you, sir. I am Vietnamese and I love to live with open-minded people like you. 🥰
Thanks 😃🖐️ I’m glad you do so :) stay in touch
Yeah I agree 😕 I wish the first world would be more generous
Oh they're not all generous here at all! A lot are very selfish. The older Australian gentleman is smart and living in a small rural town, those people are usually very nice. The big cities not so much
People forget what’s important when they have money. Ego, confidence, selfishness, arrogance shoots up to the moon. They start looking down on people who dont earn the same income. The treatment crumbles, along with morals and values.
@@lionedheart❤
Living in Vietnam gives a different perspective. This country may be poor by the western idea. In reality, far from it. Everyone has what they need. Homelessness is visually non existent. Contentment and happiness is the norm.
Treat these lovely people with respect and they open their hearts and are beyond generous.
Been around Asia few times and Da Nang is my very favorite 😍
Going back for a longer stay in less than a month… counting days
Nice input there mate :) thanks a lot, also for watching
Hello From Vietnam . Can you go to Hanoi City ,, and country side Ninh Bình . Hải phòng , Quảng ninh , Tuần châu
Hạ lòng bay . so Beautuful .. and food Great
@@ThuyNgoc-yc5dm Xin chào!
Thanks.

Thanks! Have a great Sunday
I would go there for vacations but not to live there 😅 .. I love everything about Vietnam
Aaa fair enough :) I’m glad you see it all positive though 😁
I build a house in the south in the country side and there's no tourist there just living whit the locals, my wife is from Vietnam so we have a big family, still traveling to Sweden to work but in 2 years I can be an exact in Vietnam.
The Vietnamese are so friendly and curious and if you eat and do whatever they do they love you.
Nice one mate :) that sounds like a beautiful life 😍 thanks for watching and commenting 🙏
After spending a month traveling their either country from Sapa the Pho Quoc, Ho Chi Min City/Saigon, the largest city, was my least favorite in the country full of wonderful places. We did not see that much of Da Nang, but nearby Ha Noi (41 minutes) was incredible as was Ninh Binh. Sapa tribal people were incredible. Loved Ha Noi old city.
Lovely country..
Nice! Thanks for the update 😊
Great entertainment 😊 mac book lost forever? 😢
Thanks mate! Yes, I’m afraid so 😅 also some footage I didn’t back up. Very sour but we’ll get through it I’m sure 💪 thank you!
Going back in January super excited!
Beautiful! I hope you have a great time 🤩
The Italian dude is chill 🔥
really nice content
Glad you think so!
I’d like to live there.. but how would u get money? To pay for rent and food etc
Many people work online or through companies from back home which operate also in Vietnam. :)
great video! The second guy sound like GPS! ❤ Correction GSP😁
You think so? :P Haha, thanks for watching :D
@@Chai_Travel I meant GSP, George St Pierre UFC champ
@@michaelchristophergutierre7244 whahaha! I got you know 😂 lol
Vietnamese people have never considered the West as an enemy. For them, that person is Chin...
But not the Chin ethnic group in Myanmar :P
Last guy have deeply understand. As VNmesse I can say.
Its a good country to live in as long as you're not poor.
Safe to say - this is facts for any country.
@@JayandSarah I think more so for Vietnam or other countries where there is a huge difference between the wealth of the poor and the rich. In America, even the average poor is considered wealthy in Vietnam. There are no major social programs in Vietnam for the very poor, especially for the older people.
Chúng tôi nghèo nhưng không có vô gia cư nhiều như ở mỹ
Thanks for sharing your experience 😊 that’s very helpful 🏆 have a beautiful Sunday brother
HCM isn't all that great. If you go to smaller cities people are WAY friendlier and won't try to rip you off.
Most Vietnamese people are friendly but a little shy. They are afraid that you will think they are taking advantage of you. Ask someone to do you a simple favor, then thank them by taking them out for coffee. I guarantee you will have a friend with a 90% success rate.
TQ good infos
You're welcome :D Thank you for watching 🏆
Amazing 👍👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!❤️
I’m getting a Billy Bob Thornton vibe from the interviewer 😎
😝
Interesting man Retired in Viëtnam. 🙏
He is indeed:) he has a website actually (doing photography) links in the description in case you’d like to check him out. Thanks again Gert 🏆
He is not retired there, he is a tourist he needs to exit the country every 3 months or so and nobody knows if he comes back..he probably stays in Aus more than half year
For me Kuala Lumpur is the best 👍👍
Oooo I like KL 😃 I can’t wait to get back early next year
Great video! I’d love to hear your thoughts about bringing my little dog with me from Canada. I am an English tutor, yoga instructor and musician. Thanks!
Thanks :) I’m not sure what the rules are bringing a dog into Vietnam and outside of Canada, I’m sorry. I’d approach some expat Facebook groups 🤗
I wonder if I live in the same world as others sometimes. Every one is friendly? Interesting listening to this, haha
I’m not so sure if I get what you’re saying
@@Chai_Travel Not everyone is friendly in any country, I just wish people would share the truth, not lie like regular media,, haha, Many nice Vietnamese people I know, but all?? There are some Vietnamese that hate foreign men here. Just tired of people that are full of it!
How foreigner can establish business and long term visa especially in nha trang?
I’m not too sure tbh. I think these guys know what they’re doing: phong-partners.com/en/how-to-set-up-a-company-in-nha-trang-city
Can’t you do 90 day tourist visas now from the US and other countries?
I believe that’s now the case :)
The first interviewee said he had to go in and out of Vietnam due to the 30-day VISA limit, did you know you can pay a small fee in Vietnam (aka VISA extend) to continue to live in Vietnam every time it expires? The real question is how long your home country allows you to be outside of your country per travel.
I did not! 😃 is that an official visa extension or would this be a bribe?
That’s total misinformed BS. As a matter of fact they’ll begin stamping do not extend in border runners visas very shortly.
@@Chai_Travel,It is an extension according to regulations, not a bribe. You can renew it yourself, but to make it easier, there are visa companies that do it for you at a listed and unobtrusive cost.
Great efforts! Congratulations to All !

I want to move there.
I understand :D
Anyone heading to Vietnam soon? I'm a digital marketer/web designer on the lookout for like-minded people to team up with. I am excited to get a lot of work done.
Good luck brother 😁
30 day visa...deal killer. Any other options that others have used to stay longer or get permanent visa?
I’m sorry. I don’t have any visa advice for Vietnam at the moment. Though I can provide you this official website. Maybe you’re able to find a suitable answer here. I hope it’s useful 🙏: evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn
This Italian guy can pass as Iranian, Turk, Georgian, Armenian, Moroccan, Egyptian....His nose shape is definitively from Middle East men.
Haha yeah he could :P but when he start talking he gives it away :P
He could be from Sicily, where the people have some Arabian roots.
Italian man .
With the inflation in the US and other countries so high the only way is Southeast Asia the place to be.
The 1st guy is that his surrounding?
If yes, my goodness surrounded by flower field.
Haha yeah he’s living in paradise;)
goede vlog 👍🏻
Bedankt 🤗😁
@@Chai_Travel Goede tijd in 🇻🇳😍
Enjoy that humidity
:p it’s just perfect for me.
Good interviewing CT, thanks !!! I wish the government offered retirement visas.
90 days is a good improvement 😃
I live in Australia where there is an abundance of wealth due to its natural resources, and is considered an advanced western democracy, yet I can live in poverty here or live like a king in Vietnam. Should be the other way around.
hello
from Portugal.
I would like some information
It is very dangerous to ride a motorcycle from the south to the north of Vietnam
It's not the safest I think too :)
Its not too bad as long as you stay off the highways and take more the quiet roads
