Thx! Great video. Glad everything ended up working out for you. I'm about to replace my throttle body after cleaning it and still dealing with stalls in my '10 Pursuit.
I got a o6 300c,I had the same issue..I changed my egr valve and it fixed it..great video...high mileage mopars are a bitch to diagnose..its expensive to guess what sensor to replace sometimes..pcms are discontinued and you have to hope its not the pcm thats causing the issues...
Thanks for this bro. It's hard to find for our specific year. Have ou don't the oil pressure sensor yet? Is that next to the oil filter or behind the alternator? Thanks 🤙
Hi guys,I live in the uk and a proud owner of a 06 5.7 hemi charger r/t with only 25k on the clock ( crazy I know as petrol here costs about $7.50 a gallon!! But it’s smiles per miles isn’t it!) Owned the car 5 years now, with no problems even going to Europe in it( ww2 historical sites)Anyway my problem is the throttle pedal doesn’t return as it should, don’t think it’s a sensor problem, car hasn’t been used over the winter just started every 2-3 weeks to top up the battery.used wd-40 to lubricate what looks like pivot point but to no avail.any ideas unlike my 76 ford capri there doesn’t seem to be a spring that pulls pedal back. Thanks and regards from England
I saw my lightning bolt symbol come on one time but after I turned it off and on again it disappeared, my next thing on my list is to change throttle body and spark plugs, hopefully that will help with the rough cold starts
SAME, did it fix it for you? I bought one on Amazon, and it caused even more issues right after install, so I assumed the TB wasnt the issue, and sent the new one back?
@@ChargerDriven i recently took my car in to get my cats cut and programmed and also told him to clean my throttle body. But noticed it was rough idle and had the bolt shoe up so I took it off and noticed oil caked on the throttle and it smelt like there was fuel to. So it’s parked waiting cleaning the manifold well I wait for my bbk 85mm throttle body to come in but I’m not in no rush because I wanna get this done right.
I just took my car the shop it’s been there a couple days now and the car will hardly accelerate, I could barely get it up to 40 mph and it felt like it’s barely getting power. Bought a new battery that wasn’t the issue now I bought a new pcm because the mechanic said he checked out everything else and that seems to be the issue. Just hope I didn’t need this instead
Oh man, yea I did, subsequent to this, change my pcm as well. But In your case would’ve at least took the throttle out and cleaned it, put it back and drove the car just to see if it got any better. That you’d know it was the throttle body or not. I mean couldn’t u still do that? Test the throttle, if you don’t use the pcm, maybe u can return it
@@ChargerDriven honestly wouldn’t of been a bad idea, will definitely try that if I run into the issue again. but I Put the pmc in her today and she’s back to running as it should thank god
How much KM? And transmission always go before engines jus like any vehicle. Mines at 130km going for a transmission drain and refill never flush a tranny or replace filter. My struts are causing my vehicle to roll back a few inches when in park on a slant so I put the emergency brake always. I had mine for 2 summer’s daily heavy foot is one reason I’m running into the biggest problem with the Hemi engine always running hot
Got a transmission drain and fill today I got 130km on 08 rt they said it was pre dirty and low that could be why yours is having problems but one thing about the chargers they store a lot of heat idk where you live but if you wanna have it for a muscle car I’d recommend getting parts to keep it cool. That heat could’ve crack your transmission seals. Jus looking out for my fellow older model chargers. Because I think there the last old school models to exist
What codes did you get? I’ve been having the same exact problems. I cleaned the throttle body and it ran right for a day. But hopefully replacing it helps💯
I needed this video a week ago. I was having the same issue and changed my throttle body and it fixed.
Lucky man, good shit!
Me bro gots me thinking when I got my cold air intake installed few weeks ago I woulda asked to check the throttle body.

I actually found a company that preprograms pcm’s.
I switched it and that fixed my stalling issue.
The video is on my channel.
I THOUGHT YOU NEEDED TO HAVE THE NEWE THROTTLE BODY PROGRAMMED ?
I think you are working through it well.
Thanks for this bro. It's hard to find for our specific year. Have ou don't the oil pressure sensor yet? Is that next to the oil filter or behind the alternator? Thanks 🤙
I might be having the same issue. When I turn it on it sounds like a tin can is bouncing around and also when accelerating.
Did it help

You seem to know what your doing saves you money for sure
I thought you had to reprogram them after a throttle body change
I saw my lightning bolt symbol come on one time but after I turned it off and on again it disappeared, my next thing on my list is to change throttle body and spark plugs, hopefully that will help with the rough cold starts
Good luck.
Lmk if it helps.
What if switching the throttle body doesnt fix the the issue
Good shit just bought an 06 charger rt with the same problem going to autozone now!
SAME, did it fix it for you?

It could be the coils in the car
@@cyberlocc when my car did this wasn’t the throttle body it was the pcm of the car
@@aintloudmilton5901 Yep, it was the same for me.
Im having the same stalling problem tried changing pcm and it didnt help so did charging the throttle body help?
I switched out the throttle before I did the pcm, and nothing changed.
But it may be different for ur car.
@@ChargerDriven so PCM was your fix?
that intake manifold is trash. You need the stock manifold. You'll gain 15-20 horsepower. I had the same one.
Hey bro when you took the throttle body off did you take a look inside if so did you notice if any gas got in there?
No dude, I’d get that checked, if that happened to u 😮

Also o found throttle body issues first sign of clogged fuel filters witch will lead to o ring in the fuel pump right to vacuum leak
Aftermarket throttle body they sale like on Amazon don’t work right…. Had to go to the dealer Dodge to get the right one. Cost my $500 sucks.
