This one, is the best achieved videos since the recent launch of this crossover bike from Suzuki because I’ve been present, as it happened near my hometown but none of the UA-camrs there made such a video as this. You did transmit the feeling of how is to ride the bike and how it rides. Fact that can appear to be easy but it’s not! Thank you for that. The sound of the whole work excelled the regular standard levels of quality. 👌🏻

I test rode this and I test rode it next to the GT and I preferred the GT 100%. It is a much better bike. But they are very similar in some ways. Just the GT's more comfortable and just feels better
Absolutely awesome bike Kelvin , I thought it would be to tall for me but I reckon you managed it ok ,more power than I would ever need but oh boy would I love one I am also at that age but what a ride to have if you could afford it at £14.000 . I wouldn't bother with the paniers at that price though .Great watch much enjoyed what a bike I'm smitten your dead right though Suzuki should have brought this beauty out a good few years ago but now it's here and boy is it a good one 😉👌👍all the best guys.

In France the panniers are thrown in for 1€ for the time being, it’s meant to be a measure for the launch but I guess they’ll stick to it as it has happened in the past
The BMW XR1000 is only 15BHP more than the GX from what I can see and if you spec it up to close to the GX is certainly more than a £1000.00 more... love to see where you get your info from.
Fair review otherwise but.. please, music down a tad, have to keep finding the volume button everytime you insert music.

i orderd the GX but in the end i went for the Vstrom, the engine is great from the GX but i dont need all that electronic stuff and pay 3000 EURO more....But stil i like how it looks like defiantly the black one! Enjoy!
Le bicylindre du v strom est très sympa et certainement plus plaisant que le 4 cylindres de la gx, j hésite entre les 2
Mais il me reste à essayer la gx.

@@olivierlebrun3730 C'est une question de goût. J'ai une versys 1000 qui est un vrai velour, et une SV1000 bien brutale (le même bloc certes pas aussi évolué) que la vstrom. Est-ce que je voudrais ce bi dans un gros trail routier? Non, 4 cylindres pour moi. question de goût
38 in 6th?? I’d never do that. That’s 2nd -3rd, 4th at worst. I’ve got GT and the sweet spot is around 5-6k rpm

Sorry mate, you have done next to no homework. So why impart not a lot? You make a direct comparison with bmw you said bmw was a grand more???? Which one? And the rest!!!The bmw sells for £23k you need another mortgage. Like most bmw machines, over engineered, over priced, over rated and horribly unreliable.
This Suzuki is Bulletproof, you need to tell people. The prevous model has been best seller in this category for two years. Why???? It is the best value to us normal non ego driven motorcyclists.
This particular suzuki is the upgrade for virtually the same machine without the active suspension and sells for 8k less than the bmw.
The direct comparison is with the yamaha and kawasaki machines. NOT the bmw! You need to check your price lists with respect. The suzuki remains the best value by far.
If you fancy that heavy, overrated bmw around the hilly tight twisties of the north yorks dales then have a go. My mate dropped it three times. My suzuki out performs his in every respect, that is to a bland ordinary motorcyclist who still gets just as wet as the wonderful kraut mobile when it rains. If you want to 23k for a motorbike, well good luck! Enjoy the £1200 service bill my mate picked. No repairs in there. Hideous.....suzuki is twice the value and you will sell it twice as fast as well the demand is stiil huge.

2024 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT plus is by far superior to this. It handles better, engine is more usable and you get hard cases, heated grips and a center stand standard. Looks better too.
Looks are subjective, I give you that it’s better specced but you base your judgement on the Tracer’s outright superiority on having compared both bikes back to back?
I have tested both. If you are looking for strictly top end performance than Suzuki all the way. However, As an all rounder, Yamaha is a much more usable platform. It has more of a linear power band. The only 2 downfalls with Yamaha is that awful seat which feels like you are sitting on a brick and the screen. Both issues though are a quick fix. The Suzuki at the price range that it is at should include the cases , heated grips and the adaptive cruise which I forgot to mention earlier . But you are right about the looks, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Cheers from USA. @@carlosalonso9866
The only problem with the Tracer 9 GT is the awful wind buffeting, so not much point using it as a touring bike.
Had a similar wind buffeting problem with a 2018 Africa Twin 1000L and was glad to get rid of it because the wind buffeting just made it unpleasant to ride above 40 mph.

Far superior? Seriously? Tracer 900 is nowhere near with a K5 engine. 😸
