Loved this one dude! Good on ya to try out an unfamiliar focal length. I have always considered myself a 50mm shooter, but ever since I got really into film, the types of subjects I photograph really lend themselves better to 35mm. I think I might try using mostly 50 again for a while though since I have a really nice old Canon 50mm f/1.4 now!

I've found an M8 with only 987 actuations. It's being sold by a known and respected authorized Leica dealer. Is this a good purchase in 2024? I own the M3, M7, M9M, M11, R6.2, R9, and the SL2-S. Hey Doc, great question. Obviously you don’t need any more leicas. You are set for life but it would be the only ccd sensor in your rotation. If the m9 was color then I would say you don’t need it but since it’s a monochrome. Grab the m8 lol

Yea I really dig the 50 focal length especially as a change of pace lens. Also can give your work a different perspective

Always use dng bro and shoot at iso 160. Watch the magic happen
