Hey Ray, great gear vid, nice to see your weights dropping. Very similar gear to myself. Tip for the duomid...use two trekking poles...a 20mm right angle plastic pipe joint and two 18mm carbon fibre poles/tubes (eBay) cut to approx 18" each (I used some duct tape around one end of the poles to ensure snug fit into to the pipe joint) pop them onto your inverted trekking poles and you have yourself an a frame bombproof tent at little extra weight, getting rid of that pesky centre pole and giving more usable space 😀
I'm liking the look of the MLD tent. I prefer to blend in than stand out with orange, yellow or florescent green. Just to let you know, I just picked up the older 2019 CNOC because it's threaded for the BeFree also. It's a shame the 2020 CNOC doesn't give you a choice between the two, it's only in 28mm.

Really interesting gear list! When I saw the 12.5kg baseweight, I thought it a bit much, given that mine is 7.5kg and the gear doesn't look that much different. Then I realised how much of your weight is your electrical equipment (nearly 4kg) and it starts to make sense. Also, you're listing some items (walking poles, some clothing items) which some people wouldn't count as baseweight. Electricals apart, there's at least a kilo I'd say you could easily lose, but I know these are personal choices so happy to give further details but only if you're interested.

Mat Inflation: You look like a healthy enough bloke - blow it up yourself! Photographic Equipment Bag: 325g seems a lot - there must be a lighter way surely? Water Bottle - Both yours are comparatively heavy options, especially the Hydrapak - my Platypus 2L storage bottle weighs 36g.
