MAN. YOU FIND THE PERFECT SONG TO TEACH. I WATCH YOUR VIDS. ALL THE TIME. IM 68. LONG HISTORY OF LOVING MUSIC. WE COULD HAVE SOME GREAT TALKS. THANK YOU.
You nailed it Jon. From the wicked bends to the chunky rhythms. Absolutely would love to see the lead fills as a Part 2. Thanks for sharing with us. Cheers!👍👍
He playing a lead part in the beginning. It's slow and some enough to get the gist of it. If you're new to guitar just use your ear and your minor pentatonic scale. Doesn't have to be note for note
Mr. MacLennan.....most appreciative of your instructional videos...you cover many genres ...which makes a great comprehensive itinerary. I'm sure I am not the only player...that is truly grateful....for your time to make videos and your admirable generosity. Down the road maybe some country..bends..open string.licks .pedal steel licks....if you are open to that....anyway thanks again.
John thank you so much you are a wonderful teacher!!!! Any Grateful Dead or Jerry Garcia Band lessons would be awesome. Thanks for keeping me motivated!!!
Awesome lesson! This song is always number one on my play list! Would love to have a lesson on the lead. The B.B. box and the House of Blues confuse me a bit.
Hi, I am also interested in a lead tutorial on BB’s Thrill is Gone. Thanks for the high quality UA-cam content. I have also purchased a couple of your courses from your website which, as expected, are great as well. Bryan
Very nicely explained and demonstrated, Jon! Definitely one of my favorite songs. BTW your CAGED course is great! Lots of skills I have been working on. Thank you!
Nice work! Further On up the Road - would be nice to get into - there seem to be 1x12 phrases - phrases that 'go good' over any of the three chords? Can you clarify that or more thoroughly explain? Please and Thanks!
Maybe the best song in the history. Thank you for the great lessons, you are an excellent teacher and player!
