That Velcro part between the handle bars did you get that made? I’m looking to replace the pro taper Velcro between the handle bars and get my own logo/design so if you got it made can you please send the link of what company custom made it? Thanks.
@@yomommalikethismeat9968 It's just vehicle wrap like on the forks, I just took the cover off the pad and put a sheet of vinyl wrap on it, and cut it down to size with a straight blade. You can grab all types of vinyl off the interwebz, it's stupid simple.
@@Photogromer hey bud some of the things that you listed the links are not available anymore so I can't get the exact brand and item number. Can you provide more details about the clutch springs and clutch plates I'm looking to change all that and go to the six Springs but I'm not sure exactly what to get as far as brand

Glad you’re back with the vids! Love the new build. Been practicing foot brake on my grom, finally got around to getting a 12 bar in preparation for me to inevitably loop 😂

@@Photogromer Coming along, definitely making progress. Been getting the wheel up a lot higher and have made the habit of hitting foot brake when i get too high. Just working on staying on the throttle and using brake to keep me in balance point.

I got so inspired to get a grom cause of you and I can't wait to start learning wheelies haha, I got a couple mods like clutch disc/springs & modded oil pump, any tips on getting the technique down?
Appreciate you! Figure out the timing of the bounce and clutch dump. That makes it a lot easier than just popping the clutch. It’s one fluid motion. Once you get that down, it’s all about that brake control. I removed the big spring on the foot brake which makes the feeling in your foot a little stiffer, made a huge difference for me. Also seat time. Hit the lot up 3 times a week and keep at it. You’ll get it.

What brand forks and rear shock do you use?
The only one for sale in the town I live in is a 2015 with 3k miles on it. The only mods are the handlebars and an exhaust. Do you think it’s worth the $2600? I tslked him down from $2800.

Just a question when installing the DHM cam and ecu flash .....Do you need to reset the reflashed ecu with the paper clip or will it reset the ecu to stock my wife and I really want to order the dhm cam and ecu flash for 170$ a pice

What tires do you run?
So you’d recommend the TST axle sliders over get bent designs sliders?
I never ran getbent sliders but yes I would for the price difference and wait time if nothing else.

What did you use to life the bike up to be able to remove the wheels and install the front and rear sliders? I'm trying to avoid buying front and rear stands if possible. Great video like always!
Best way to do this is have an extra axle bolt or a long screw driver. Use it to hammer out your axle bolt, as it pushes out the axle bolt it keeps the wheel and spacers and everything else in place so you don’t even have to remove the wheel. Then just slide the slider housing on and hammer it back through pushing the screw driver or extra bolt out. 👌 thanks for the support and watching 🙏🙏🙏

I just got a werkes exhaust in my grom this week, have you heard one in person, are they louder than the yoshi, because it's so much louder than I thought it would be
Yeah werks is louder than the yosh. Yoshi is more of a deep brapp sound, my favorite grom exhaust. I had a werks on my 4V 170CC Grom (on this channel) it screamed.

I have a get bent subcage but since I didn’t know how to wheelie I didn’t get the titanium block. Now that I’m starting to learn I want the block but didn’t realize if you didn’t order it with the block it can’t be mounted. Any fix for this?
Buy this, wire brush down the powder coat to bare steel, take the plate and subcage to a welder, have them weld it, powder coat it or spray paint the raw metal so it doesn't rust. homegrown-industries.com/collections/sportbike-replacement-titanium/products/scrape-plate-adapter-w-titanium

@@Photogromer that’s actually not a bad loss! Does the sprockets make as much of a change on the grom as sport bikes? I know on all of the 600s I had, it made a HUGE difference on the wheelie aspect.
@@Frosty616. Yeah it's pretty noticeable esp the higher gears and slower stuff, less low end bog and easier to pull up the wheelies.

@@Photogromer i was gonna get a used one but the new ones have 5 gears and a 100 mile gas tank on them. If it wasn't for that I would buy a used one. But love your videos tho. KEEP IT UP!!
@@Blames-de6lq I got 122 miles to a full tank of gas on the coast2coast trip before running the tank dry lol so it can do it but it appears the early stuff I've seen on 2022 is showing better dyno results. I really wanna get my hands on one to test them out see if they are better stock vs stock and how they feel for stunting too with the shorter gears. Used prices have gone up a lot lately with stimmy checks hitting so buying new 3rd gen may be a better option anyways. Either way, enjoy it!

Feels the same as a p34 to me. They have p32 similar ones too. Just pay attention to where the banjo bolt is and compare off the p32 and p34 to make sure you’re getting the right one for you.
