The 2019 Hawaiian Shirt Tampa Grom Squad ride started out as one of our best local rides and ended up being our worst. Everyone involved sustained minor injuries, lessons were learned, this full video and my immediate reaction to the crash and how the mood shifted I left in to help avoid a repeat incident on future rides. Him in the middle of the road was bad his bike parked on bridge was worse. Sad end to a fun ride.

Charles S one guy got his hand fucked up... saw it on a video and you could actually see his right pinky’s knuckle bone... it was anything major but skin got scraped badly

I thought he did go over the bridge but then I looked twice and very luckily he didn't I hope he is okay though😟😕

Well there is a law for first responders only in the emergency lane
Dumb decision honestly. 1. Don't be standing in the middle of the lanes 2. Don't be riding shoulder unless it's clear 3. PAY TF ATTENTION TO IN FRONT OF YOU 🤦🏻♀️ I think common sense could've prevented this crash

Common sense dont come natural for some people.. 2 riders crashed while ring in the emergency lanes.
PhotoG don't take it to hard. Don't get me wrong that sucks but you can only do so much. You tried to keep it under control just someone made a bad decision and people got hurt. As long as they learned from it. Be safe out there and keep two on the road, or at least one..

Stand in the middle of the road and everyone will look at you, park your tiny bike to the side where folk would go round you.
Regardless of who else could have done different a guy parked on a main road to stand in the middle is the cause.

What is fucked up is even after someone collided with his shit twice he is still standing there filming.
No it's not it's the person that was too distracted by the guy that was doing the wheelie and didn't bother looking in front if him. As a biker you are supposed to be aware what's happening all around you.

Man that was a tough one. There was definitely bad decisions made on multiple parts but like you said "Denis" should have never been in the middle of the road to begin with. Hope everyone is ok

The whole crash was caused by the one dumb ads standing in the road
Nooooooooooooo, it was cause by people driving in the emergency lane, where vehicles are expected to be pulled over stopped, and not watching where he/she was going.

Crash wasn't your fault or mistake of organisation. Just some not so well thought through decissions by single riders. All in all great ride and fun to watch! Good luck for future ones though ;)

6:08 that's the gas station in Clearwater Beach, right next to Smuggler's Cove (Mini-golf). I live like 15 minutes away from Clearwater Beach, that's the only way I know.

Maybe have a short safety video highlighting what not to do.
Give each rider who watches it and comments a patch showing that they know what to do and are ready to ride in group rides.

Dude should not have been in the middle of the road. Crashed riders should not have been rippin down the shoulder of the road like that.

That’s just called being caffeine dependent. You would have to drink more within a certain time period to feel the rush. Energy drinks have led to LOTS of different casualties including death and that’s why I stopped drinking them. But yolo. And yes they taste good. However If they wernt carbonated and had no sugar, you would probably puke 🤢

Riding in the emergency pull off lane and not watching where you're going is not good. It wasn't the parked rider's fault, that lane was put there for vehicles to pull off and be stationary.
