He walked onto the stage and I thought: who’s this guy? Jeff started singing and my draw dropped and I thought: who IS this guy? Incredible l. He sang with raw emotion. Been a fan ever since. Same night, they announced Dave Matthew getting signed to a label. That night seems like a dream.

For anyone that's wondering that big hand held drum that the drummer is using is a traditional old Irish instrument called a Bodhrán pronounced bowrawn. He ain't putting it to good use here really tho can make some great sounds if used properly with a cipín
I’d prefer he was just on a drum kit. The album version of the song has a really finessed and fitting drum track that really drives the song and fits what would otherwise be a pretty meandering song together.
I got to see him in concert in 94 or 95. An amazing performer on a magical, unforgettable night. Two of the loved ones I was with and this fine young man were all gone by 99. So many memories tied up into these songs.
