Today we have another Yamaha R1 in the shop for a few performance upgrades and a custom dyno tune here at Proven Power Cycles! When he brought the motorcycle in, it had a slip-on exhaust from leo vince, stock air filter and stock chain and sprocket. He came in to get the SC Project SC1-R exhaust and K&N air filter along with a full custom dyno tune. In this video, we're able to show you the before and after dyno sheets so you can see what a full dyno tune and an exhaust will do for your performance. We were able to weigh out the stock R1 exhaust as well as the new SC Project exhaust to show you what the weight difference is which is HUGE! A lot of the weight in a stock exhaust comes from the catalytic converter. On top of that, a titanium exhaust simply weighs less than a stock exhaust. Titanium is a GREAT material for motorcycle exhaust systems. Once we finish up the custom dyno tune and exhaust install, you'll see how much power each step made according to the dyno numbers.
