My favorite part of the concerts I went to was watching Huey play his harp . Just watching him and his actions were so entertaining. He was so good♥️♥️♥️
As a singer and musician (and a harmonica player in particular), this man...this band...is one of my earliest influences, and they still continue to influence my performances to this day. As much as it broke my heart to hear Huey had Ménière's Disease...destroying his ability to hear, let alone create, music...it gives me (and hopefully him) comfort to know that his legacy is secure, and at least two more generations (mine and my children's) will continue to love his music and to create their own with him in mind.
Hopefully his meunière’s is in one ear. I’ve had it for about 30 years and lost almost all hearing in one ear. I still play harmonica, guitar and some other stuff. I have to stay acoustic and keep to smaller jam sessions so I can hear more clearly, but I’m still playing.

This band is the reason im a musician of any kind today I play guitar and harp and if it wasn't for Huey Lewis and the News I wouldn't of ever!
