So also listen to Indiara Sfair from Milk 'n Blues from Brazil. Buddy Greene is worth it, too. He's a genius, even in classical music! All the best from Berlin!
Came across this by accident but boy I.m glad I did.Rythm and Blues at it,s very best. The whole band are truely gifted muscians.Great vocals too and the harmonica playing is off the scale. Can,t stop playing it.
What an outstanding performance! The way this band synchronise together in rhythm and harmony is just awesome. And the lady on the gob-iron is the most talented I've ever seen - and, in my 70s I've been around a long time. Kudos to The Waifs!
Holy Shit, Greetings from a 69 yr old fart from over in South Africa, how did i miss these beautiful folk, nearly spilt my beer i got so excited, what a goddam breath of fresh, real music is alive and well, that young lady on harp, oh my oh my, something special about harp played well, beautiful vocals from the young ladies, fine fine musicianship from them all, just love it, Big Big Up
F@&kn amazingly talented band from Western Australia. I can never tire of this live performance! They’re all in.. My wife adores this band and she is perfectly right. Love from NSW,🇦🇺👌😍
This is perhaps the best live music video I know of. The energy is astronomical; the harmonica is “crazy” fun and drives the audience willd. The whole band is on fire. It’s like lying flat on the railroad tracks underneath a freight train that rumbles right over you! Fantastic…
The best harmonic player I've ever heard I think she is just wonderful no one seems to be better looking than her playing at harmonica she's wonderful great talents would love to see her live and her band
I had the pleasure of seeing them at Wyong about a month ago. I was also at the Wave Aid gig. The band have not lost one iota of magic. If you get the chance, catch the Waifs at a gig.
The sisters are multi instrumentalists, from Albany, Western Australia. Their music is down to earth, homemade, folky kind of sound. They have travelled the world as a trio and as a five piece ensemble.
I saw this exciting band in Adelaide, South Australia a few years back as the support act to Bob Dylan ... when he appeared on stage he said "my favourite new band " ... oh wow !!!
Just watched this video came across it by chance just brilliant harmonica playing made me wish i was there stunning live performance i'll admit never heard of the Waifs before but seeing made me go straight out and buy one of there cds might not be the only one
I find this song to be incredibly done by you years and I don’t think you could’ve done any better, so I appreciate you for being the artist that you are
I have enjoyed your music all night I keep playing the same song over and over. You guys are amazing I just don’t even know how to tell you. I’ve been painting squirrels for the last 14 nights I paint one score of the night and you guys are right there with me playing music hear the energy behind my squirrels.
Incredible !!! Up there with the very best - I wouldn't travel 5 miles to listen to OASIS - but I'd happily travel 500 to listen to this group - fantastic.
Lots of love from Sweden!!! You are just magnifik… well just wonderful!!!! Perfekt sound and you are soo beautiful!!!!!! Very professional performance everybody!!!!! Pure love to you!!
My favorite rendition of one of my top 100 songs. The intricacies of the blues harp, the incredible picking on the guitar, are simply the best. The melody, however - the part that has words - is identical to the 1979 Blackfoot song Train, Train, which, in turn, copied Mystery Train by Junior Parker. All of them different, all great music. ❤❤❤❤❤
Now added to a 5th public playlist of mine, this one is called Train Songs. This is #3 on the list, right after Train, Train and Elvis's version of Mystery Train. Yes, I have added this video to 5 public playlists ! 😋😂
It is hard to convince me after 35 years in music but this band is just amazingly talented. To start with the harp player, she is beyond the most famous.
I just found these guys like 3 weeks ago and I really only listen to acdc but when I ran across these folks it's all I listen to they are great and could only wish they would come to the USA south east I would come two every show . Love the story behind this band and they are my second favorite band ever of coarse no one can take the top spot away from the greatest band ever acdc
WOW! I never thought I will find something like this in the today's shitty musical world! Man, this was just awesome for me to learn! A Modern Band singing like Old Legends! Blowing my mind already! I'm 61 and I never listen today's "music" (that "music" word and concept is far too lost today) but only the Greatest old ones and this video just pop up o me when searching for a Paul Butterfield song I miss to listen and didn't have in my vinyls and I clicked the play almost by error. WOW again, these girls are fantastic man! Now go to search who are they and then coming back for sure! Love from Spain❤!
That's my friend Shane Thornton singing lead with his band Black Cadillac Kings from Klamath Falls Oregon. Gonna miss him he passed away a few days ago suddenly from heart problems. We've played and worked together a few times over the years and it was always a great time. He was the go to guy for making everyone happy and excited to do the best that could. He will be missed s

Saw them a couple of weeks back in Brissy for their Up All Night 20 year anniversary tour.
Also did the support act for Bob Dylan tour a few years back !🤫...😎
Man! This crew really knows how to play it. They clearly understand that music isn't just non-stop sound hammering away. Outstanding!
