I was thinking the did the Auctions a few times as it couldn’t surly be a year since I watched one. And it scary think I’ve been through three or four of these with Harry now. It’s like a sweet shop. 👍
Harry’s Garage - on a saturday? Absolutely fantastic. Just imagine the roar and disturbance if the family trip from Watford to Yorkshire was done today, baby in crip placed on engine and all.
Harry is like a young boy showing his mom around in the toy shop. It's ment as a compliment and so great to look at and listen to the passion, enjoyment and knowledge of Harry. Every video is always a treat. Can't wait for the next one.
Harry, even if you would make a two hour long video of the Silverstone auctions I would watch it and still be cheesed off why you did not show us more cars. It’s just great to see these types of cars and listen to you giving all the history and background about the cars, please, please give us more 🚘
Harry really is missing an american muscle car in his collection. There were several cars I was thinking "you want it, so buy it and make a video cuz it's not my money!" lol
Harry said at the end; - I hope you have enjoyed this video. Well, that surely is an understatement... I really like all of Harry's video but the walk-through before the auctions are the best! Thanks Harry!
Well out of my price range sadly but what a video of dreams that was. Harry has this technique nailed; just the headline info with an economy of words, then move on to the next car. 43 minutes just flew by. Love it.
120k for a 308?! I presume the rare 'vetroresina' version accounts for that. I had no idea Ferrari ever used fibreglass...love those facts, Harry! EDIT: That '63 "split-window" Corvette C2 is absolute collectors item as it's the one and only model year to feature the dual rear window. In 1964 GM switched to a traditional single piece of glass due to customer concerns about rear visibility.
I love watching these Silverstone Auction videos. Its my favourite Harry's Garage videos. Always an amazing range of cars wonderfully presented by Harry. Top content 👍🏼
The reason these vids are so successful and popular is because the dude is just so watchable. Harry always makes everything feel like a really cosy Sunday morning....or maybe that’s just because that’s when I watch them!
Harry, thank you so much. I learned a great deal listening to you. I realize that those cars today beginning to show a little vintage panache could well be the collector cars of tomorrow.
good gawd...could not keep my attention on Harry..my eyes..and imagination kept flicking over to all of these other machines as he walked..just stunning collection..
Some really wonderful cars there. I spotted the 3.0 CSL early on and hoped That Harry would feature it. I lived in Germany for most of the 1960s and I can remember when the 2002 first came out and how refreshing it was compared to the 2000. I can remember how beautiful the 2800CS models were when they first came out in 1968. Lust object. My Dolomite Sprint wasn't a race car, but it was still very nice to drive. Harry mentioned them hopping round corners or something like that. That problem was easy to fix with replacement rear suspension bushes. In spite of not being a race car, the standard road car's engine was ready to be upgraded. For example, the oil pump was driven by a worm drive from a lay shaft inside the block. The lay shaft had a second work drive as standard and the block was drilled and tapped to fit a second oil pump. Thanks, Harry.
Regarding the 356, I'm going to have to disagree with the traffic thing. I commuted for many recent years in my 356c, never having trouble keeping up. My biggest complaint was the wipers. You could use them, but not at the same time as the headlights (which slowed the wiper speed down dramatically!).
What a wonderful selection and great to see so many cars shod in Minilites! Sadly Derek Power the founder and director of Minilite passed away in February, he was a wonderful and clever entrepreneur and always great fun! If you have Autocar 14 November 1990 there' s a piece on him on page 42-45. Great video Harry as ever (get the JPS Esprit!).
I read somewhere (I think) that one of main design specs for the original 2CV was that you could an adult pig could fit the back. Seems jolly sensible to me. Ferrari please take note.
Let's be honest, Harry has the perfect voice for talking about high end european cars. I quite enjoy his use of the words "Gearbox" "Boot" "Bonnet" and "Brake Horsepower"
This one should be called "Harry's Sweet Shop". What a mouth watering selection of superb vehicles. If I had to pick one it be the early 70's BMW 3.0 CSL.
The JPS S2 Esprit is 2.0 litre and 160bhp, they came out after Lotus lost the sponsorship so the cars do not say JPS. The S2 also has exactly the same suspension as the S1. As for numbers that's a whole different story : )
Another great video by Harry. Just one small criticism....I own both 911's and 356's and I love them both. The 911 design inherits a lot of its DNA from the 356, Yes its a massive improvement in performance but the 356 is a very special car.
Love it Harry. You need to pony up for the bubble car and get yourself a basket with a babydoll in the back haha. Really enjoy your content. Gives us US enthusiasts a view at what's up in the UK car hobby
Harry you broke my heart and walked right by the Caterham 7 "obviously one of these let's move on". Can't explain why but it's my dream car. You don't see these in Canada and man, it just seems like price to performance, you want a wild and raw driving experience that would be what I'd go for if I ever won the lottery. And then I'd probably wrap it around a tree but at least I'd have fun for a bit haha.
Love these videos btw. This COVID thing sucks and of course, no auto-shows going on here because of it, so it's nice to virtually get a bit of that from these types of vids.
M1 was opened slip end Watford 1959 Harry. The concrete slab says from London to Yorkshire. Your Dad was probably one of the first to ever drive the M1 matey. Seems it opened up at the perfect time for your family. 😁
Please Harry would you do a follow up video giving your thoughts on the auction results and how you see the prices of particular classic cars now and in the future?
What an awesome range of vehicles! 2CV, 63 Stingray Split, JPS Lotus, Bowler Wildcat, NSX... Many thanks for sharing these Harry - I seriously need to win the Euromillions soon!!!
Fantastic collection of sale cars. Great job Harry as usual. But just go ahead and ignore the Vanishing point White Challenger in the collection and don't even worry about it LOL. Just teasing.
Oh my...that Ferrari 308 GTB is the most gorgeous Ferrari ever IMO. My poster car in the 80s. Perfection. My choice: Ferraris 308 for special occasions, Toyota Supra for everyday use and that Charger for weekends and annoying bad neighbours. Wildcat for snow in the mountains I think (and annoy bad neighbours in the winter lol).
Nice video Harry - as usual. Unfortunately, you skipped the silver one of six Brabus SL55 K8. I saw it in the background while you were talking about the BMW M3. I was looking forward to that. ;-)
Harry, - the David Attenborough of cars
That was such a great feature. Vintage Harry!!!
You’ve perfectly encapsulated how I feel about Harry.
Wifes watching Ant & Dec, Love my Lady but headphones on, Harry's garage on full screen with a few beer's, job's a good un.
I can't believe it's been a year since we were watching Silverstone Auctions 2020!
I was thinking the did the Auctions a few times as it couldn’t surly be a year since I watched one. And it scary think I’ve been through three or four of these with Harry now. It’s like a sweet shop. 👍
@@SWR112 Yeah I was thinking it was delayed until fall last year or something. It feels not like a year at all.
I agree, so just had to check the maths; lets see, 2020 + 1 = 2021. Yep that worked. QED.
Harry is such a gem. "What I really want to show you is..."
Yes, I like the way he says that as well.
Ha ha!! I know!! Classic!!
Greeting from Colorado. Yep. Harry shows us barbarians over here in the Colonies, what class really is
agreed. the way he nearly took the door off the cv was superb.
Harry’s Garage - on a saturday?
Absolutely fantastic.
Just imagine the roar and disturbance if the family trip from Watford to Yorkshire was done today, baby in crip placed on engine and all.
You gotta love Harry - "But the car I really wanted to show you is this..." proceeds to show all cars
my heart skipped a beat there. harry means it's sunday. thought i'd lost a day.
The clocks went forward a day. That time of year.
Harry is like a young boy showing his mom around in the toy shop. It's ment as a compliment and so great to look at and listen to the passion, enjoyment and knowledge of Harry. Every video is always a treat. Can't wait for the next one.
Essential watching
Harry buy the Esprit you know you want too, it's stunning 😍
Really enjoyed hearing your anecdotes about the quirky little cars from your past.
Harry, even if you would make a two hour long video of the Silverstone auctions I would watch it and still be cheesed off why you did not show us more cars. It’s just great to see these types of cars and listen to you giving all the history and background about the cars, please, please give us more 🚘
The F1 display car is "affordable"
I'm guessing Harry has a very different definition of affordable than I do!
Just checked my piggy bank.... NOPE!
Its about the perspective, nothing is too expensive, you are just too poor.
His delivery of this subject matter is second to none. Thanks Harry...keep up the great work.
That 2CV is a beauty.
I could watch Harry walk us thru these cars for hours, truly one of the best UA-cam channels for petrol heads. Keep em coming Harry)
The green Dodge Charger has won my heart ❤️
Harry really is missing an american muscle car in his collection. There were several cars I was thinking "you want it, so buy it and make a video cuz it's not my money!" lol
It’s a belter.
I spent the afternoon under one of those!
Love these vids, harry is so informative without being superior, awesome knowledge and a really likeable guy 👍👍
Harry said at the end;
- I hope you have enjoyed this video.
Well, that surely is an understatement...
I really like all of Harry's video but the walk-through before the auctions are the best! Thanks Harry!
Love these videos from Harry, but I’ve just burnt dinner as I lost track of time. So absorbing.
I could watch these for hours ,top job Harry
Best thing on you tube by far. So in-depth analysis of the cars. Good humour and a real treat to watch.👍
Well out of my price range sadly but what a video of dreams that was. Harry has this technique nailed; just the headline info with an economy of words, then move on to the next car. 43 minutes just flew by. Love it.
Shout out to Harry for bringing Footman James insurance to my attention.. just got my first "classic". A 1990 Jetta GTI 😎👌🏻
THE best 43 minutes and 29 seconds of this month by some distance :) thanks for posting, see you online at the auction. Take care
Wonderful opportunity for us to share your enthusiasm Harry. Thanks!
If the split screen Corvette had a Ferrari badge it would be one of the most expensive cars in the world...
Absolutely gorgeous
Very educational. I could watch videos like this all day long. Ten out of ten.
i could watch harry doing this forever on a 24 hour live feed.
Thanks Harry.... love these tours!!!! 🤘😎🤘
Harry please tell you’re going to buy the little ‘bubble car’ for the collection!! What a great story 😆
I love these, always interesting to see what's on the market - even if I can't afford any of them :-D
Such a pleasure to listen to you describing these stunning cars Harry. Thanks very much. .👍👍
Nobody:
Harry: *Ripping doors off auction cars*
😂😂😂👍
All doors are removable if you try hard enough.....LOL.
I could watch these auction videos for days!
..and it doesn't matter when these videos were posted because these are all classic cars
That John Player Esprit was 👌🏼
thats my forza car lol.
@@smiddyboy1971 Harry needs to buy that and take up smoking!
It looks so fresh....
Wonder if we’re gonna de a JPS Esprit in Harry’s Garage??
I love watching these Silverstone Auction videos. Its my favourite Harry's Garage videos. Always an amazing range of cars wonderfully presented by Harry.
Top content 👍🏼
If only DB4s didn't go for such insane prices... What a beautiful car
Excellent Harry, love the bit on your early childhood. If only your grandparents could see how well you turned out! All the best !
I love these videos. I'd watch a full tour of all cars of this.
I just love these harry at the auction videos . Made my Saturday. Thanks
good gawd...could not keep my attention on Harry..my eyes..and imagination kept flicking over to all of these other machines as he walked..just stunning collection..
Crap day at work, so to get home and find this. Couple of cold beers happy days.

Just made a similar point ! disappointed the great man who is nearly always right dismissed the 356 !
A bubble car will appear on this channel within a year, I can feel it.
Love the Ferrari 330 GTC.WOW,absolutely beautiful.
Was so hoping you might mentioned the P38 Range Rover in the foreground. Great video .
I’m glad you said “260 Zed”. A great clip this one, loved it Harry.
What a wonderful selection and great to see so many cars shod in Minilites! Harry you would make a fine custodian of that very ace looking Esprit JSP.... I think you should definitely have a bid..or two🤔😉
I read somewhere (I think) that one of main design specs for the original 2CV was that you could an adult pig could fit the back. Seems jolly sensible to me. Ferrari please take note.
Oh Harry I can't help thinking you missed a trick by not saying "look at that!" rather than "look at this" when you introduced the car @41:42
My favorite is the Lotus Esprit JPS but it is purely sentimental...
I love these auction previews, that 2cv is great
Let's be honest, Harry has the perfect voice for talking about high end european cars. I quite enjoy his use of the words "Gearbox" "Boot" "Bonnet" and "Brake Horsepower"
Jackass...😂👍
Great viewing, thanks again Harry.
That grey-metallic Elise of Nick Mason's is maybe the prettiest example of an Elise I've ever seen.
That viper green 911! WOWSA!
This one should be called "Harry's Sweet Shop". What a mouth watering selection of superb vehicles. If I had to pick one it be the early 70's BMW 3.0 CSL.
I love the Ford Cortina GT ,Lotus Cortina,Lotus Esprit,BMWs&the Jaguar's. All the car's are beautiful.

Thanks Harry for your infectious ( no pun intended ) enthusiasm. What a feast of cars on offer . I,m like a blind dog in a butchers shop.
Harry you broke my heart and walked right by the Caterham 7 "obviously one of these let's move on". Can't explain why but it's my dream car. Great review again Harry and lovely to see the K Series mentioned favourably!
What an awesome range of vehicles! 2CV, 63 Stingray Split, JPS Lotus, Bowler Wildcat, NSX... Many thanks for sharing these Harry - I seriously need to win the Euromillions soon!!!
So many wonderful Choices if you have the 'moolah' ~ I loved the white Porsche 911/930 but there were many more GEMS to look at. 🚕🚗🚓
I bought Evo Magazine from issue 1 in 1998 up until about 2010. Harry's passion for cars was one of the main reasons.
Watching your joy is infectious
Dear mr Metcalfe ,maybe a brown metallic like this jaguar in the auction with burgundy interior for your xjc?
OMG, what a candystore it is.... How can you stay so calm???
Harry is the Richard Attenborough equivalent for cars
Hitting like without watching it , these are my favourite videos on UA-cam 👍🏻👌🏻
Thankyou Harry . I will have to check my lottery numbers . Definitely the split rear window and maybe that Sebring Sprite .
That was an unusual moment seeing Harry standing next to a classic Dodge. That '63 split screen was sweet.
Fantastic collection of sale cars. Great job Harry as usual. But just go ahead and ignore the Vanishing point White Challenger in the collection and don't even worry about it LOL. Just teasing.

Harry, the last car, the Williams F1 - ‘Red 5’ sold for: £174,375
Such a massive breath of fresh air to see some common sense and you didn’t have to mask mumble your way through it 👏
It's just impossible not to love this guy... Great content Harry
I love these videos Harry. I dream of winning the lottery and attending these auctions and leaving with several sets of car keys!
Me too!
You walked straight past the Holden Commodore VY! hahaha
I prefer the way Harry used to do these videos when the price came up on the screen :)
Always enjoy these. That Sierra Cosworth would be my pick 👍
Nice video Harry - as usual. Unfortunately, you skipped the silver one of six Brabus SL55 K8. I saw it in the background while you were talking about the BMW M3. I was looking forward to that. ;-)
Great video Harry love ❤️ it From Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 keep it coming to Oz. 🇦🇺🏁⭐️
Love whispering Harry, best car presenter on the planet. Was that his father Bob that did a rock show in the 70's, he has to be related.
That Clio v6 at Silverstone Auctions. April 2012 - sold for £9,130
Holy moly a year already wow great as always Harry keep up the good work 🤩👍
Watching your videos sitting in my mx 5 nd, feeling king of the world! Thanx Harry!
Nice video thanks for posting Harry !👍👍👍👍👍👍
That brown 3.8 jaguar is right up my kind of car in my kind of colour👍 to whoever went for that factory colour.
