Annie is so wonderfully beautiful. So easy on the eyes there is just something about her that's so calming and beautiful about her. One day I wish to find someone even half as cool as Annie

This is why I went looking for my missing daughter instead of the detectives. I kicked in doors and jumped fences because I don’t need warrants. This is also why I found my daughter too not the police.

First law enforcement in the city lets Mary and her family down and then adding insult to injury, the judicial process does the same thing. If I were a citizen there, I would not feel safe at all.

Yes to us that’s normal to write em off and never speak to them again but to this sweet lady who had a disability one thing that came with that is easily being able to forgive ppl jus because they say they’re sorry. When someone has a disability especially when it effects the brain or personality they’re easily influenced to believe someone jus cause they say the word sorry.. they’ll believe them because the word to them, is enough to go by. They don’t have the ability to truly understand if a person means it or not. They just know that when they hear that word sorry they kno u forgive after that.. not sure if u understand what I mean but I tried to explain the best I cud from my perspective

I’m the type to write someone off when they really screw me over and sadly she wasn’t capable intellectually to be that way and that sucks.. I feel for ppl who knowingly go back for more when ppl hurt them and don’t end it right then. They truly understand that they shudnt give more chances but they do and it’s a sad thing to see ppl do

Bless you for covering this story. Working in the field of Mental Health brings me close to people like Mary. Some are so sweet and vulnerable, trusting of all people. To take advantage of someone you know has Mental health issues is unforgivable. What a spectacular woman Mary's grandmother is. If we all had someone that treasured us that much this world might finally be rid of stories like this.

My 20 year old has a disability and I'm told often that I won't let her live her life. This is why we have to keep our children who are vulnerable no matter their age close to us. This family did everything right and it still happened. And for her family to get screwed every which way when looking for her and trying to get justice, it's no surprise she believes that they don't value her because of her disability. In fact, it's more important to point out how depraved someone has to be to murder someone let alone a disabled person. It's gross. I'm so angry watching this, I'm fuming

I feel so bad for Mia! She wanted her sweet Mary to have as much of a “normal” life as a young adult that she could. But at the same time, a “normal” life was unrealistic for Mary. What a hard position Mia was in- balancing the fine line of letting her go and holding her back for her safety and well being. Kelly is the epitome of the darkness that lures in the shadows just waiting to snuff out any bright lights in the world.
People like Kelly are jealous and have clear issues of self value. Hope she enjoys living in a concrete box!! Money doesn't make you amazing it's who you are. Rest in peace beautiful Mary✝️🕊🙏🏻💜

Beautiful Mary reminds me of the character in a 60s movie called, Light in the Piazza. Yvette Mimieux played the role along with Olivia De Havilland and George Hamilton. An innocent, angelic, sweet woman. This breaks my heart. LE couldn't have been any more incompetent.

She specifically said that Mary’s family wants her story told…but I see your point to a degree. Some true crime channels and shows share unnecessary details and sometimes just make it more about the perpetrator. However there are also many pros to sharing these stories in a tactful way which I believe Annie does. For example, not only does the victim’s memory live on and their story is not forgotten, but a reminder that their are many monsters walking around in sheep’s clothing and in this case, shining a light on the importance of discussing healthy boundaries, etc. with young people regarding intimate relationships.
