Wow I am just sickened that teens plan this kind of stuff. I just can’t imagine my kids ever being so unfeeling of others. My kids care for people and have feelings. These kids are horrible.
Yeah, it just makes you really wonder who your kids surround themselves with. I tell my daughter all the time. They may be your friends, but you still got to watch out for signs and tell me where you are at all times
It's a horrible thing to think about but it's one of those things as parents we worry about. I remember growing up having the one friend who I absolutely loved and she betrayed me so yes, it worries me. You just don't know how far that betrayal is going to be taken.
Suggest getting a micro recorder - I found out some interesting stuff that way with my kids when they would "shut the door". It was my house/my rules and I did what I had to do.
My dad was damned strict... The rules did not change... Accountability was consistent... Every night after supper my two sisters and I would sit around the diningroom table before completing our evening chores... We could ask my dad anything... Nothing was taboo... A moral compass was instilled at an early age... No person was ever able to introduce us to a subject that we had not already covered around that table... My daughter and my grandson have benefitted from this embedded sense of right and wrong... No one is perfect... However... This is what the negative side of that sliding scale looks like... 🇿🇦
I hate to break it to you, but there are many, many incidents like this that have occurred involving kids/young adults who had top-notch parents, did everything right, and their children still turned into monsters. It's naïve of you to think that if they had only parented their kids the way you were raised then this wouldn't have happened. You don't know what you're talking about, with all due respect.

The detailed recount of events gave me chills. It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that someone could be so calm and methodical during a murder. Detective Lompre’s investigation skills really shine here, but I can't help but wonder-could this case have been solved sooner if there were more resources or leads early on?
He could be talking about any mundane thing, but they are planning a murder. I am in shock at him not having any care that they are going to murder someone. And what did the guy do to deserve this? Nothing. Its very disturbing this guy doesn't look like he is capable of murdering anyone, but looks like any normal teenager or young adult. AND has zero empathy or emotion at all. That there are others like him that participated is *ucking crazy. Very sad this young man lost his life and he thought he was among friends.
He keeps trying to minimize his role or make himself seem remorseful before each part he was directly involved. This guy was into this just as much as anyone else. Then he chuckled when he told them it was going to get even more disturbing
They should have all spent the rest of their lives in prison. The poor mother of this young man had to hear the horrific way her son died. Scary to think some of them are walking amongst us.
I have a feeling this guy thinks if he rats the others out he’ll get a deal. He thinks his telling of the story so nonchalantly is because he thinks he’s going to get out of the consequences.
Well cases with APD range from 0.6% to 3.6% globally amongst the adult population. Those countries with more robust reporting tend to have the highest percentage. Until we know more, we can't really say.
This is just heartwrenching! These young boys are absolute Evil to the core! Sociopaths! My heart goes out to the poor mum and family, what a senseless act of cruelty! So sickening!
Listening to this guy's account of what they done to this poor young man's demise makes me sick to my stomach it's like a horror movie , WHY is my question?????
The murder is shocking! But for these teenagers to take life so nonchalantly is more disturbing. I think some of the individuals involved got off too easy and they should be very thankful to someone that they got another chance at life when this poor kid did not. It’s so foreign to me that some people think like this. Thank goodness for the people that solve these crimes and attempt to keep others safe! My deepest condolences to the mother of this young son and what she had to endure.
Trust your gut instincts with people, often we overlook them....but generally people like this will exhibit signs that something is just off. Don't ignore it.
We wonder what’s wrong with the younger generation. This is sickening. He’s explaining a brutal murder like it’s just another day. No respect for life what-so-ever!! The parents of these boys should be ashamed and embarrassed at their part in this.
His whole story is all jacked up. First says he was tending a fire because it was going out, and all of a sudden, he heard a noise like he didn't know it was a gun. He asked if he could wear a police jacket to go show them the scene as if hes an innocent witness.

luckly the teens didnt find the original grave they dug or he might never be found
Now that is a actual possibility. But still remote.
If it wasn't for the man and son being there at the same time of the coyote Jared would never have been found. Think twice about hanging out with a group of ppl if not all of them like you!
If they had found their six foot hole…. Don’t hang out with people who lack empathy, who exhibit callous indifference.
Absolutely
Actually it was when they searched the kids house and found the shotgun and the kid outted himself. When they brought him into questioning and he asked where the others were and how casual he was when the cop said they are all in jail.
You should not type when you don't know what your talking about. Of course he would have been found.
The MOST anyone got for FIRST DEGREE PREMEDITATED MURDER is 35yrs?? And the next longest is 20-25 years and others barely got 6mo ?!! To put the family thru all this on top of never seeing their loved ones again - What a nightmare.
no emotion no remorse. wow!
Weird (...perhaps ignorant is a better word...) how so many people read this kid as having no emotion when he is clearly sick retelling this story and expresses his emotion on several occasions. A stoic state is a very common for someone who is feeling deep guilt and regret. "Zombie like" is even the phrase he uses to describe how he has felt since the murder. The way he so clearly conveys the story also shows emotion and remorse. People who have no clue about human behavioral psychology ought not try to do a keyboard diagnosis.
Oh, he gets emotional. Once he’s discussing jail.
Edit: "There is honestly nothing more important in my life than seeing my son free. I'm so impressed with how he went from a frightened teenager to the man he is today." - Ronald Johnson, said about this monster, at his parole hearing in 2019. He's up for parole again this year.
23:40 WHAT... THE... $#%@. "That's where Jared said aaahhh" I haven’t googled this monster, but my gosh... this dude is pure evil.
Damn
Wow I am just sickened that teens plan this kind of stuff. I just can’t imagine my kids ever being so unfeeling of others. My kids care for people and have feelings. These kids are horrible.
Your kids are normal and these are monsters...
I was just wondering if all this came as a surprise to those who raised him 🙄🤨?
Sociopath worried about being busted for a keg but not about being busted for murder.
Worried about getting his *mom* busted for a keg.
Yep not on ounce of empathy guilt or remorse.
Unreal how brutal this was, wasnt expecting it. Brutal psychopaths, and so young.
He talks about this as if it was a silly prank.
Yeah. Like he's in a job interview or something.
Yeah he clearly expects the officers to find it humerous and smirk along with him.
Yes!! Smh
This is disgustingly sad and heartbreaking, no remorse whatsoever
I can’t imagine this. My eight year old son just had three of his friends over and I’m thinking about this so hard. This is awful
It’s so terrible to even imagine.
Yeah, it just makes you really wonder who your kids surround themselves with. I tell my daughter all the time. They may be your friends, but you still got to watch out for signs and tell me where you are at all times
Is he stealing their meth?
It's a horrible thing to think about but it's one of those things as parents we worry about. I remember growing up having the one friend who I absolutely loved and she betrayed me so yes, it worries me. You just don't know how far that betrayal is going to be taken.
Suggest getting a micro recorder - I found out some interesting stuff that way with my kids when they would "shut the door". It was my house/my rules and I did what I had to do.
He talks as if he is discussing the weather
@@PAULINEC-y1o no kidding. He talks causally about a scary crime. 🫤
Right! And people here are almost rooting for him, saying he shows emotions!!! smh

Sociopaths are more accurate. This in no way is average drunk male teen behavior!
Well it probably doesn't help when this kid's mother gave keg parties for him and his underage friends. Great parenting
This is nauseating. So hard to listen to.
Wow! He was so blasé in talking about someone they murdered! No emotion what so ever! RIP Jared. Condolences to his family and friends.
Just casually interviewing sid from toy story for a murder 🙄😂
He's five minutes from jail, but wants, "...one of those cool police jackets." Right.
Does this guy knows he just hung himself and all involved. Where is your lawyer dude? You are just as guilty as they guy who did the action.
They got a name for you in jail..,.
I know.. I've seen canaries that don't sing this much...
Unbelievable
And then he said the guy who wasn’t there knew all about it. Yikes!!!
From what I hear, he tried to put it all on the others. So, I guess he speaks to make him look like the less evil of the band.
I wonder when he’s confessing all of this, does he really think they’ll let him off the hook?! He acts like it.
The cold matter of fact , non remorseful way he tells of Jared’s evil murder and only cries when he’s talking about HIS life says a lot
No emotion at all except suppressed laughter. Almost like he is gloating.
Disgusting!
He cried! And he's clearly traumatized by the crime he committed.
We get entirely different reads on this. The laughter sounds nerve out and disbelieving and kinda just relieved to be talking about it finally
@@tooi816
Agreed, it was weighing heavy on him.
How cruel...this man is a sociopath and his mates!!!
It’s difficult to comprehend how emotionless & monotone he remains throughout the entire interrogation, seemingly numb when acting out the crime and then lying on the ground roleplaying the victim he murdered!? Something is toking instead of ticking upstairs, but at least he eventually gave a rather detailed complete admission without requesting a lawyer…👌
The indifference is outrageous. It proves just how underdeveloped a teens mind really is.

The detailed recount of events gave me chills. It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that someone could be so calm and methodical during a murder. Detective Lompre’s investigation skills really shine here, but I can't help but wonder-could this case have been solved sooner if there were more resources or leads early on?
the way he chuckles and this n that... i hate this guy...and the rest....and he stun gunned him too ffs
This happened in 2004, these psychos could be getting released soon. Huge waste of 5 lives

With friends like that - who needs enemies.
If this murderer served 20 years, he's already out. How scary
This dudes mom got him a keg for his “keg party” birthday gift? What a wonderful role model.
He keeps trying to minimize his role or make himself seem remorseful before each part he was directly involved. This guy was into this just as much as anyone else. Then he chuckled when he told them it was going to get even more disturbing
Omg! Like who has a fantasy about bending someones leg backwards??!
All these guys are wack jobs
They should have all spent the rest of their lives in prison. The poor mother of this young man had to hear the horrific way her son died. Scary to think some of them are walking amongst us.
Yes, I don't think a sociopath or a psychopath will get better, they get worse in prison. These guys will never belong to freedom 🧐.
I have a feeling this guy thinks if he rats the others out he’ll get a deal. He thinks his telling of the story so nonchalantly is because he thinks he’s going to get out of the consequences.
When a detective is fist bumping you it's time to get a lawyer.
A lawyer for what???
Exactly how many sociopaths is America producing?
Lost count.
Well cases with APD range from 0.6% to 3.6% globally amongst the adult population. Those countries with more robust reporting tend to have the highest percentage.
Until we know more, we can't really say.
Not enough, since we're importing them as well.
Tons since there are hardly any repercussions to behaving violently.
The justice system is broken.
Too many
Those short sentences are a disgrace.
This is just heartwrenching! These young boys are absolute Evil to the core! Sociopaths! My heart goes out to the poor mum and family, what a senseless act of cruelty! So sickening!
He sounded so articulate and educated. Where did they all go wrong? Is it wanting to belong to a group or just plain evil?
Articulate and well educated people commit horrific crimes. It’s not like only poorly educated people commit crimes
The lack of inflexion in his voice is extremely troubling..
“ladadadadadeeeedaaaa” as he’s drawing

When he said that the first time I thought holy poo yep this dude is crazy. Second time definitely hammered it home for me.
That felt so sadistic when he was doing that.
This is the saddest, most maddening, horrifying, gruesome video I've ever seen !!! 😳
You haven't seen much
Listening to this guy's account of what they done to this poor young man's demise makes me sick to my stomach it's like a horror movie , WHY is my question?????
He talks like he isn’t part of the crime. So detached.
My deepest condolences to the mother of this young son and what she had to endure.
these are the same ones walking around shouting "they will not replace us" 🙄 they seem perfectly replaceable to me
Where did they say that?
Now THAT'S the biggest leap of nonsense I have heard in quite awhile!

Just about everything a normal human has got
Psychopathy.

Premeditated murder… I don’t understand how 3 of the boys got a slap on the wrist? 🤔
His whole story is all jacked up. First says he was tending a fire because it was going out, and all of a sudden, he heard a noise like he didn't know it was a gun. He asked if he could wear a police jacket to go show them the scene as if hes an innocent witness.
It wasn't a gun, it was a tire iron.
