You are correct! Lots of digging! Videos do make it look easy.
We certainly work hard for our goodies. Well worth it! So much fun!
Yes. Some people get a misconception that these are back to back digs and can't be true. But far cry from back to back. Its work out there at times. But to be able to return two class rings is well worth more than the unbelievers. Thanks for watching.
Mike Keefer With AquaLand Relics You’re welcome! I enjoy watching! You’re doing me the favor. 👍
Remember. We have detected this place many many times. Over 150$ in quarters alone have came out of this pool along with a few silver rings. We are trying something new just to see if it works for gold. I would not advice to do this at a place that you are detecting for the first time. Good luck and happy hunting
Good job on the rings. Looking forward to the return. Thanks for the tip on the ATP settings
Yes I am looking forward to the return. Talked to her on messenger. She is all excited.
Hello,I just got a garrett AT pro package brand new in the box at a thrift store for $30. I can't wait to try it out.
Oh my goodness. What a deal. I'm so jealous. Mine is like 13 years old and it still rocks. In my opinion one of the best water detectors on the market. A great all around machine. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles. But a solid machine. Enjoy! Good luck out there
@@AquaLandRelics that's great to hear,I was worried about the waterproof claim.
Always make sure you use the waterproof cap that goes over the earphone port. And make sure your coil port is nice and snug. Just don't go crazy tight or you'll lose the nut on the inside. I really nice figure tight is all that is needed.
AT Pro is a good machine ! Got one as well :) Very nice hunt and finds too ! A big congrats keep'em coming and best of luck out there :) ATB
Thank you. On the day this video was released I went back to the same area. And another classring popped. I have found both owners. One will be returned tomorrow the other will be a couple weeks
Thank you for the adventure and seeing some amazing finds ! Take care , stay safe and healthy wherever your next adventure takes you guys ! Doing well here in Kansas .
As always thanks for the watch. Glad all is well for you. We are doing great here as well
Totally disagree! I've reviewed many cheap detectors. And it's definitely..... you get what you pay for. Not saying things can't be found with a kids detector. But not on a regular bases!
Great tips Mike! Thanks so much for sharing! Happy Hunting bud!
I'm glad you seen this video Eve. This was a game changer here at this municipal pool. Good luck out there
I enjoyed your video and the way you notched out for rings. I know its frustrating with a pull tab fest but you had nice finds by sticking with it.
Thank you so kindly. To date the three of us have dug close to 50 rings in this spot. Including 3 classrings with all returned to the owner. So we have so many different things to try and pull more rings. Thanks for watching.
BEAUTIFUL rings! Keep up the good work!
Thanks. Love finding rings
Great hunt. AWESOME ring finds too.
Thanks. Was a fun hunt
What a smashing hunt!! That place keeps giving!!!
Yes it did last night with another classring
Enjoyed the video..Thanks for posting in The Garrett AT Series Group ..Happy Hunting my friend..Alabama Dirt Digger/Brandon
Thanks. This was like a cheat code for the at pro in this area. I wouldn't do it in a lot of places. But this area was perfect. Thanks for watching
I’m going to have to try it thanks for the video
Good luck and thanks for watching
Love my AT Pro. Usually, a nickel reads about 52-53 where I live. You are the ring and nickel man.
Yes. The at pro is a beast. With no major setting adjustments. Just start the machine ground balance and go. Thanks for the comment
awesome finds
Thanks. And thanks for watching
Thank you for showing us what settings you are using in this video, it really helps us newbee’s, much appreciated,
No problem Willo.
You are quite welcome. But as I stated in that video. I did it because we have detected that place heavily. So I was trying something new. But if it was our first time there. I would run the at pro wide open. Digging tones I know produces quality items. Thanks for watching
Awesome video; hopefully you still have my 6th ring you found. been long time.
We have found over 40+ rings at this park in last two years. Thanks for watching
I have all the rings I find. I dont sell anything. We have given 4 back to rightful owners. 3 classrings and one wedding ring
It definitely helps you find rings when you're by a former pool.
Yep. Part of the battle of metal detecting. Finding the spots to be successful. Thanks for watching
Thank you for this information on how to set the AT Pro to find gold rings. I’ve got a place I hunt that I found 5 rings in 2 days. I know there’s more there, and this setting might make it easier to find some gold rings.
I hope it works out for ya. I would like for you to keep me updated. You got me curious. Good luck
@@mikekeeferwithaqualandreli4711 I may go hunting here in a bit. Here in Texas we have had 100 plus degree days every day for about 2 months. I live by a lake, and right now, the lake shore is the easiest digging! I’ve been hit or miss from the 40s tones through about 61 or so because there’s so many pull tabs. But I’m going to try to hit those because like you said, pull tabs, nickels, and gold rings all ring up in those numbers. I know there’s more rings where I’m hunting, just got to find them. Thanks again.
@@MESABOOGIE01 okie dokie good luck
Wow dude, you KILLED IT! Good job man, next time I go out to the park I'm gonna try out notching the simplex to see if I can pull a ring. Keep it up you earned a new sub I'm down in pasco county FL pretty new to detecting have not yet found silver coin but I've found 2 10k gold rings in my front yard and a nice silver ring next door in the abandoned lot! Wish you the best!
Well sounds like for just starting u are rocking it. Yes we have a couple videos where I notch the simplex just like this and find 3 rings here at the same spot.
Name of the video. Simplex+ finds 3 rings
Sweet! Gold rings in your yard?! That’s fantastic!
@@mikekeeferwithaqualandreli4711 I was just wondering at the beginning of the video if that could be done with the Simplex! Thanks for these valuable tips! God bless!
@@TexasPlugRiches yes. If you go back through our videos. Three rings found by simplex. That's what gave me the idea to try the pro
Great job! Makes me want to get out but it's been so dry I'm a bit worried about plugs.
Yes it was dry here as I stated. But since then we got some well needed rain.
NOW I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING THIS WEEKEND! GREAT VIDEO!!!
Yes. We have used this system with the simplex the equinox 600 and the ar pro. All three with pretty awesome results
Jeremy did you get out and try this today?
@@mikekeeferwithaqualandreli4711 no I actually last minute got suckered into going camping.
I swear to God I'm going to. I just got permission at an elementary school that was once a highschool. They still have the football field in back I can do. Open 1928-1968 as highschool and maintained a football team for most of it. It's 2 minutes from my house.
I'm going to try it sometime in the next three days. I'll let you know. Thank you so much.
@@jeremylee8844 how did u make out ?
When you get metal detecting one day you could live stream it (that would be super cool)
That would be on jordan. Lol. I have no clue about that kind of stuff. But we did buy some new camera holders. I'm trying a chest mount right now. To dig some live digs. So we are trying some new angles. But we are always trying to improve. Thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks...wonder how this would work on the beach
Not real sure. Never tried it there. Usually when I'm at the beach I dig about any repeatable signal. You just never know. But I know it works on dry land. 😉
Enjoyed your enthusiasm. I would like to see more finds and videos.
We have quite a few videos on youtube. And we do a lot of lives on tiktok
@@AquaLandRelics
Thank you, I am in Sunny Florida, and just bought the Max.
D Carlton sweet. We are coming to Florida in December to do some metal detecting on the beaches.
@@AquaLandRelics
What part of Florida will you be in?
D Carlton gulf coast side of Florida. Around the fort myer area
I’d like to try notching out. I’m always worried I’ll miss a goodie!
I explained why in another post of yours. We have well over 100 hours between the two of us here. Over 150$ worth of quarters alone have come out of here. Lol
Mike Keefer With AquaLand Relics That’s amazing & exciting! 👍😎❤️
What kind of metal detector do you have? Thanks.
Good evening sir. That is the Garrett AT Pro. If you go into the description of the video. You can find the AT Pro there and the place we buy it from. Thanks and have a great day
Interesting..I have been using the AT Pro since 2014 and honestly I have never found any rings that rang in under 50. I have seen other videos as well where users say they have found rings in the 40's, but not me. For me its been around 53 and up for gold. Most targets I dig under 50 are junk.
I just happen to be in a prime spot to try that. And my experience has definitely been 50 and under for gold. Unless maybe a big hunker gold ring. Keep it swingin
The thinner lady's gold rings are mid to high 40's with the AT Pro all day long. It is the heavy foil range also, so no free lunches.
Is this the pool area you found the 6 rings at?
Sweet place!
Yes it is a pool area. Old municipal pool 1950s-mid2000s. So many tones to decipher. I'm trying to get away from the millions of pennies that are left. We've dug most of the high signals. Now it's time for the good stuff. Thanks for watching
Mike Keefer With AquaLand Relics that’s fantastic! What a wonderful site! I’m sure you will have many more happy and successful hunts there! I’m looking forward to seeing them all!
😎❤️👍
Hi, curious how you're getting gold with disc. notched out above 70??
I was going smaller gold rings. Yes I may have missed some of the bigger gold rings. But I have time to come back and detect when I want. 70s are also pennies and that place is totally loaded with them. They will be my last adventure. And I'm sure I'll dig more gold then. But this video I concentrated on the low end numbers of gold. But great question. Hope it was a good answer to your question. Have a great wekend
I noticed on some of them like number six ring you didn’t tell us the numbers it would be nice to do a video to hear the tones as well for us to learn
Honestly. Sometimes the good finds catch us off guard. If you would see how much stuff is cut. Lol. So sometimes we get lazy and think awwww another pull tab. And a lot of the times once a ring, coin, civil war bullet is uncovered the sound and the signal changes a good bit. So sorry for ring six. But we try to keep it a learning experience as much as we can. Sometimes just don't work out. Have a great day and good luck out there
I'v been to parks to metal detect and got run off by the police. It didn't matter that was cleaning the park of pull tabs and fish hooks! One would think the park people would want that clean up.
Yes every place is different. We have a permit here. Saying we will remove all trash, and fill all holes. Leaving like we found it. This is also a town park. Our state and county parks here in Maryland are no gos
Can i find gold ore an gold nuggets with my att garrett pro metal detector
O would say yes. But nothing real tiny. Would definitely have to be a small nugget
How much foil are you digging cause on my at. Pro 43/44 is mostly foil
I dig a lot of foil when searching for gold. And pull tabs. This place like I said we trying something different. That's why a lot of people don't dig a lot of gold. It's so close to foil and junk. Just gotta stay on it and concentrate on certian low tones. Can be done. Just expect a long day of trash and very few worthy digs. I believe I showed all the junk I dug on this video.
Just hang in there. Foil is a tad bit scratchy compared to a ring. Usually at pro will lock solid tone on a gold ring
So what range would you say to dig for gold rings and only very solid tones?
@@Pokemonballers87 I've dug them as low as mid 20s to upper 50s. Solid tone. You don't hear a break in the tone no matter the direction you swing on it
@@Pokemonballers87 that's why I notched everything above 60 out in the video. I wanted to concentrate on low tones
How do you Notch out those numbers?
Use the (+) and (-) notch discrimination push buttons on top right. This moves the little bars on the top of the screen right and left. Once you hit the numbers you want to get rid of hit the eliminate button. This will also activate numbers you have notched out. I get rid of all tones and VDI #s I don't want to hear or see. I hope this helps. Better description in the owners manual as well
you show the ring after you dig the hole show digging the hle with the ring in the dirt dont belive you found them
That's truly your opinion. But...... if you knew how many pull tabs and junk I found before I found the rings the video would be hours long. I have nothing to prove to you. But if you were a watcher of our videos, And not just this video you would realize we are one of the legit youtubers on here. So move on thanks.... have a great day
Can u do a video on how to program the detector to these settings thanks
Thanks for the idea. When we get a chance would be a good video
@@AquaLandRelics thank you that would be great. I just got a brand new detector and I want to get into the hobby because I need to get out and move around more.
Yes. Metal detecting is great exercise. It will give you a work out for sure
@@AquaLandRelics thank you for the cool vids very inspirational can’t wait to get out and explore
How, do i go about getting ahold of you guys to find my sisters class ring?
Where are you located?. My email is cinderblock2971 at Yahoo dot com
So far we have a total of three class rings found and returned.
large white Gold class ring comes in at 48 49 mid tone
Awesome. It would still show up with this setup. This was something I was experimenting with. Worked fairly well. Thanks for watching
@@mikekeeferwithaqualandreli4711 sorry mike wanted to let you know White Lustrium or the other gold not sure if that name is correct anyways is very similar to W.G. comes in strong 46 47 smooth mid tone at 3+/- inches damp Texas soil
@@ringhunter1006 awesome. Good to know. Thanks
If it’s there and you walk over it you can find with a kids detector
Totally disagree with this comment. There are things a kids detector can find. But not on a regular bases. I've reviewed many cheaper (kids) detector. And the saying is so true. You get what you pay for!
Am o the only person that thinks the stock coil just drags in the grass, so much resistance in light grass!!!
Maybe it's the design of the shaft that makes it not so aerodynamic
How did you get permission for that big city park?
We went to the city counsel and asked for permission. They then gave us a piece of paper saying we were aloud to detect. ( some city’s may be different )
As Jordan said. Just always check local laws. Good luck
Way to plant them last fall
Plant what ?
Hmmmmm. Nice comment. But some people know how to detect. And dont have to plant crap. But thanks for the comment. It helps us grow. Happy hunting
My wife has me planting flowers. But I just started I didn’t plant them last fall ?
And........ If you wanna know the kicker..... 20+ RINGs have been found by us there in the last two years combined. Including two classrings that were found. But we do what we do because we have fun. If people choose to watch and follow. That's fine. If they choose to not follow that's fine as well. I detected well before youtube. And will continue to detect well after youtube. Thanks again 😉
I've been detecting over twenty years you planted them
Nokta. Kellyco. 3000 plus way to go guys! Keep a swiming
