  • The city of Belleville, IL. was founded in 1814, and before that was home to French and German settlers. One of Bellevilles very first parks was the Bellevue park. Using the Garrett AT pro, I chose this park as having the greatest possible success in hunting for lost treasure.

    Tip: when using the carrot, you can have it on max sensitivity and narrow in on the target with a quick click on the power button.

    I can't believe the people who dig in hole without gloves on. They just don't think about getting cut. One good cut will teach them.

    Nice score on the penny. In this area, "parks" were big social gathering places around the turn of the 20th century with bandstands, dancing areas, and venues like that. A lot were even small scale amusement parks usually built by railroads or trolley companies to entice patrons to ride the transit system to their park.

    Nice find 1882....Good way to enjoy the day....Sorta of like paint back in the day when it had lead in it paint actually adhered to the wood and stucco and nowadays you have to paint your house every 5 years because the good stuff is no longer used to make the product....LOL....Good stuff....

    Cool find on that one penny. How would you compare this metal detector to the Ace 300?

    • @ZRUSOutdoorsChannel
      @ZRUSOutdoorsChannel  2 роки тому

      This AT pro comes with much more to offer than the Ace300. I plan on making a video about this (price per function etc) but the AT pro offers the “pro mode” which has helped me learn faster and is much more in tune. I’ll lay this all out in a future video. But both are still great units. The Ace 300 is still an effective detector

    What settings did you have yours set on? I have the same detector and am having problems finding coins. Only trash lol

    • @ZRUSOutdoorsChannel
      @ZRUSOutdoorsChannel  2 роки тому

      I use the pro mode. But i have found coins in both modes, easily. You just have to dig the tones that are the most uniform and repeatable. If your tones are a mixture of sounds all at once, Its normally not a coin. If its a nice, solid *beep every time you swing over the target, thats your best indication to dig.
