- You know that little voice in your head? Your inner critic. Constantly nagging, putting you down, wishing you were different, better, smarter, stronger - wishing you were anyone but who you are. We are our own worst enemies and harshest critics. We need to stop with the judgement, and instead learn to love every aspect of our being.
It is one of the greatest gifts we can give to ourselves, learning how to love ourselves. And what we will learn is that the amount of love, kindness and patience that we have for others is directly proportional to how much love, patience and kindness we have for ourselves… because we cannot give others what we ourselves do not have.
We need a revolution - and the revolution needs to start from our own self worth.

@@rogue991 I have 2 pets and one I just had to put to sleep in October. Had him only 7 years and he developed a brain tumor. I also found out I have a fractured back with a condition called spondylitis. I am in no shape to volunteer. I could lose my ability to walk if my condition worsens and
I need to work full time to survive as it is. Along with a hiatal hernia and Gerd. I needed a volunteer once in my life. I also am not a "mister" I sign my posts, its Vicki. Thanks for all the great advice. Vicki

F. Moon , l hear you! I look around and see what a mess man has made. That's what compels me to look to God and the beautiful world He has made. All l can do is pray for the people around me.
Yip that can be true. But most people are just doing the best they can. Everyone just wants to survive in this crazy world. I think the key is to always be kind to others and animals. Nothing else matters.
Everytime i see i video notification from Green Renaissance
first thing i do is i look for a peaceful place without distraction and start watching it.
Its just a 10 minutes video but it takes me almost 30 minutes or sometime 1 hour to complete a video from you guys.Because every single word has its uniqueness and i dont wanna miss a single word.As we modern humans cant concentrate less than minute these days because of this social media era sometimes my mind gets distracted from my thoughts and i miss the lines ,whenever i miss a line ,I watch it again and again until i don't miss a single word and get the meaning of the word.
and then after watching the video ,i share the link of the video and tell everyone "Please watch it without any distraction"haha
thats the whole process whenever i watch your film.I hope i expained it clearly haha.My english is not that good.

For me, remembering that God created each one of us as a unique individual and that He gives us value gives me validation to be who I am, and helps me love others for who they were created to be. We are all sons and daughters of the King of the universe! Doesn't mean that I don't struggle with lifes' challenges and the devil's lies, but does give me strength to know that one day at a time builds endurance, and that endurance builds hope.

I don’t need or want conventional labels such as god, devil, etc. There is an endless spirit of love and beautiful power animating and illuminating the whole Universe. We hold a tiny part of that for a finite time, our bodies die and then the spirit is released to flow back into the vast spirit ocean. Words are not enough to express this, and I can only try the weak analogies the human mind admits.

I noticed that most of the people in these films , expressing such beautiful truths they have discovered about life, all seem to be living on their own with only pets for companionship. It seems to me that it is difficult to become this way when in a close relationship with a partner. I crave solitude, I feel I could be so much more myself, if I lived alone. True story: I was recently asked a question by a woman. "What do you do for work?" This was her first & only question to me. I politely smiled & asked jokingly why would that be your first question? The woman answered abruptly in a dominant fashion "Because our work DEFINES who we are as people!"

I exactly feel the same, should be one of the main subject in school.. As I am watching this it flashes back the memories of people who I encountered and had this conversation when I was in highschool or college about what they wanted to become and people I encountered what they become now in terms of their career/profession... Don't get me wrong education is important too but I would love to think that we are getting educated to discover or develop more who we are and what we really wanted to be that makes us happy , not because of what society, family or friends expect us to be to fit their success standard kind of life, but for ourselves to be more productive as we keep living everyday throughout our lifespan, given the fact as well of course of being happy by helping others what you can but not expecting any returns.
I am still thankful from those experiences and encounters because it molds and realize me more of what really matters on my life.There were times were those encounters had not been easy but I managed to realized and applied things more in better way. My only hope for my son or my children to be that they will able to face those challenges in life where society's standard can be overwhelming and pressurizing but they still can make decision in their life without the fears of what others think they think better as long as they feel happiness on their self and genuine people surrounds them.....

As with everyone of these films I’ve seen, there’s a philosophical undertone in each of them that reveals the beauty of the soul in every person portrayed. This is no exception. Have gone through my own life’s goal of getting to know myself as myself! Have been through the Dark Night of the Soul, scary place to be, but ultimately the most liberating part for me.

But to add to your question about how to go about learning to love yourself - I think it is a deeply personal journey that we each need to walk - there isn't a 'one size fits all' answer. But the starting places needs to be recognition and acceptance of the fact that you are worth loving xx

The videos in this channel really connect and encourage the person that i am on the inside is the person i should be instead of pretending to be someone im not. I think maybe many people are a little afraid to be themselves but imagine how more beautiful and colorful the world would be if we were all just our true selves.

Hearing these inspiring stories, seeing the world through different eyes, and now reading all the grateful and supportive comments, I feel much more hopeful -- no, confident -- that we can all find such contentment and joy despite the challenges and dark voices that interfere with such bliss.

I come back to Green Renaissance every time I need reassurance that I'm on the right track. I decided to choose a life full of meaningful experiences, prioritize authenticity, slow growth and not to be self-centered. Listening to other people's experiences on this platform, especially older folks who've lived full lives makes me tear, and hopeful that one day I could look back and realize that I chose right, to live deliberately.
I wish the same for everyone. That you will realize that life can be beautiful if you tune your instruments of perception. That failure is part of the game, and being better after adversity is the best way to resiliency. Perfection is an illusion, and everyone is beautiful in their own light.
So be grateful, and chart a unique path for yourself and those you care for. Virtue is contagious, and maybe one day, you too will realize that every little piece adds up to a full life.
