Thanks for the SOTC update. The fact that at least 2 of your watches were gifts from friends speaks to how great of a person you are! Best of luck! And yes, a G-shock video is needed
You know, while I was editing I was thinking how lucky I am to be in watch fam and how generous people have been. I've decided with that speedy it is a watch that can only be gifted from now on! In a time of radical generosity to someone who needs a little morale boost!
x2 Cartiers from her Husband, a ridiculously generous gift of a Speedmaster at a rough time from a friend...but if she could keep x1, it's the Rolex OP. Brutal! 😳
I remember around 6-7 years ago, I looked at my collection of 30-40+ watches, a few nicer ones, but a lot of micro brand divers, and feeling like they owned me rather than the other way around. I sold just about everything, started to consolidate into fewer nicer watches and I have been so much happier. Yes, I have less variety, but now that I’m down to a handful of high quality watches, I enjoy it so much more. I came to the realization that I can like or even love watches without needing to own a particular one. I had gotten down to five, now it’s a couple more than 5, but each one is right for me and I don’t have to go through mental gymnastics to justify any particular watch (this diver is good for swimming, this diver is good for if I ever have to jump out of a plane, this one is good for a riding zebras, etc). As for the Moonswatch, no apologies. I have a proper Speedmaster and I still want to get a Moonswatch or two, just because it’s fun to have a little variety and color in your collection, and frankly, I’m never going to get my hands on an Alaska Project, but the Mission to Mars is a possibility. Not a bad consolation prize. You have a lovely collection, Moonswatch included!
Nah man, micros are a must in a proper collection. Everyone has the same bland rolex, tudor, casio combo with subdued colors. I prefer some colors and something unusual personally. I love the cartiers from this list the most. But hey to each their own, thats what makes the hobby so special.
Same here. Watches become a disease once youre hooked. Money is better allocated elsewhere (family, vacations, priorities, investments). I sold most of my collection and just rotate 3 of them. Once you get more than 2, the others just sit in the box.
I looked for this video for weeks in your channel 😂. Finally found it!!! Love love love it!!! You’re so kind. A truly inspiration. I love your Daytona, your OP and your santos dumond ❤
Always a treat to see people’s collections. You must get a Bosphorus case for your collection. Would be nice if you could do a review of their product range?
I'm a big fan of changing up colors. The Moonswatch in that beige looks fantastic with the matching outfit that you wore in the video. I myself have a Christopher Ward C65 Dune for that great beige and I love pairing it with khakis, etc. from the same color palette. For me, matching colors to outfits lends a whole new dimension to collecting.
I always look forward to your videos Britt! absolutely killing it and aspiring me to build up my collection! the cinematography for the watches are amazing!
Wow, impressive! I’m 28 and just started. Mostly cheap watches. 3 Casio’s, 2 Citizens, and a Spaghetti Scameti. Can’t wait to get a MoonSwatch to wear as a truck driver once I graduate a driving school. 🚛
Really varied collection. So nice to see someone on UA-cam with a collection that Varys in price, size, brand. Not just Rolex, Patek and a token G-shock that we all know never really gets worn.
Beautiful Collection Britt. Here’s one for you. Which would you rather? A Patek Philippe 5905P-001 or a A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk 140.029. Same money on the secondary.
Very nice collection! I really enjoy that you husband is into watches also and supports your passion! Sharing is caring! Your videos are always so pleasant! Thanks for showing us your collection and keep up the good work!
The biggest thing I got out of this video was your recommendation of Horological Underground, a trip to Bristol and my first purchase of a vintage watch. Thankyou!
The watches have added personalities when the background stories are told. Enjoyed that, Britt! Everyone: what will be your next watch? Mine will be a Marathon Arctic edition diver. 🎉
That's the first ever youtube shout-out to Horological Underground I've heard! I'm Bristol based and have only just got into watches because of gawping at their displays. Such a cool shop and a friendly team, I wonder how many other watch collections have been initiated by them?
Wow what a collection! Nice to see you have a great appreciation for them. I hope you are conntinuing to recover. I'm a cyclist and have had one really bad crash. It really is a tough thing to go through. Mostly they shouldn't happen. Be careful when and if you go back to it!
10:25 This looks a bit like the Omega 007 watch, especially with this nato strap. Which I actually like tbh. You absolutely should wear it like this. And great collection btw. 🙏🏻😎
Its really cool IMO that the black Rolex OP is your forever watch for all the reasons you stated. So many people, and especially YT influencers, would go with the hype/grail watch like a Daytona - which you own and showed side by side. Again, shows an authenticity and grounded perspective that I think many of us appreciate. Also, that you have a vintage Omega Speedmaster now and the story behind it was heartwarming. People can be very thoughtful and generous/caring - we should recognize this more. Just an unpretentious and fun SOTC. However, the question is, when do we get to see James's collection? 😁
I must admit, that is the first vid of yours I’ve watched all the way through - in sometime 😬. The Cartier quip about ‘missing it if you send it away’ was quite touching.
The (Nato Strap) on the Moonswatch and Tudor looks great. Do you have any suggestion or Ideas where to find good one i got a few one from Amazon and the were all garbage and the material was to hard so they rubbed on the surface of the watch.
I enjoyed seeing your collection and hearing the back stories. Your Santos story really moved me. And yes, let's see all your watches - time for a Casio and G Shock episode next :)
Dang, that's honestly a sweet collection! Great video, it's always fun to see the watches of my favorite watch UA-camrs! As far as your collection being too much or too crazy, there's always room for another watch, just not always necessarily the money for it haha! Great video though!
Ahh thank you so much! It's definitely a growing collection! ;) But I am exactly the same - I love seeing UA-camrs doing SOTC! But I'm just nosy like that! ;)
A speed master is a lovely thing to own . Best to service yous yourself. It’s not difficult. You could do it. I can and I’m a numpty. I fixed an omega 1967 for a friend lately and the kudos was emense . It would grow your channel.
It’s incredibly soothing watching your videos. I also have a Moonswatch, I think it gets ragged on too hard. It is what it is and it’s kind of perfect for that. A total oddity.
You mention at the start that you have a safe deposit box. Could you talk more about the insurance of items in there and when you take them out, the insurance that covers you on your person and at home. Something I've been struggling with recently. It could be a wider video about watch security? Naming your insurers would be a great help
Show us the g shocks please! :) I have a number of Casios/g shocks and timexes that are just as pleasing as my luxury watches. I love that one day I can wear a 50 dollar watch and the next a 5k watch and both can put a smile on my face.
That's a nice collection. Yes, even the Moonswatch. Feel free to wheel out the G Shocks too if you like. I see you have a yellow DW-5600 just like mine. Thanks for the video.
I bought my first luxury watch last year in Japan and love it since then. Breitling Superocean A13340. Amazing watch. Thank you for a great watch content. Salutations from Czech Republic🇨🇿🇨🇿
I really enjoyed seeing your SOTC and would love to see the entire collection including gshocks, Casios, and any other watches you have! I was appreciative that you have a few micro brands in your collection. Some UA-camrs and collectors avoid them and I always think that’s shame. Excellent video! 🥃
No breitling? I’m not a collector by any means, but I just picked up a new Breitling chronomat this weekend and it is so gorgeous! Right now I have a Rolex datejust…I have had the Rolex forever thinking it would be my only watch for my lifetime…but now added the Breitling. A cartier tank is next for me. I will probably stop at 3. 😂
Lovely collection. If you don't like the Nomadic Marai on the nato strap, maybe consider a mesh bracelet. It reminds me of my Glycine Combat Sub, and I get a lot of compliments with that combo. A separate video for your G-Shocks? I'll definitely watch that, and I'm not even into G-Shocks.
I laughed so hard when you said i took it to the gym 😂 just imagining doing pushups while wearing a tank on my wrist is 😂 but great video as always and this is why we collect watches the stories they have and the way the make us feel is so special
LOLLLL, WHAT A FREAK I WAS! I literally wore it to the gym... And I was in an era where I would go to the gym EVERY DAY LOL. but you're soo right! Our watches = stories, and they are memory keepers!

I would say with enough time this collection is reasonably reachable for regular people except the Rolex Daytona, which is pretty much the only unobtainium watch at retail.

I'm quite amazed how you and other watch reviewers manage to keep your collections relatively small. I admire the restraint and self control. ❤ Something i need to learn how to do 😂
Especially when they can get a daytona or a patek straight from an AD. We are taking some seriously privileged young people here. Have to spend a fortune to her a call on a daytona from an AD and even then it's a 10 year list
We don’t have unlimited funds to just buy everything!!! There are many, many watches I would talk about in just as high terms but unfortunately, can’t afford them all 🤷🏻

Lovely heartfelt video and great to hear the story behind each watch and what it means to you.

What size is your Cartier Tank? Can't decide which one to get the wife lol.
That’s an older model “Solo” rather than the current Must. Sits in between the two current sizes. Probably closest to small.

@@user-en5gz7fg9lAh yes, women, how dare they choose their favourite watch that they bought themselves over something a man chose to give to them.
