First saw Englund in the miniseries "V" as Willie, and thought he was marvellous. His turn as Freddy was such a shock. Superb and underrated actor.
+Eliot McCann I loved him in V, I thought Willie was so adorable. To think he went on to play someone as evil as Freddy equally as brilliantly, is testament to his talent.

I can only seem to find one episode on Amazon streaming, it's really weird. What sucks is it was on Hulu under Anchor Bay until about three months ago. Agh!

I met him and got his autograph here in Dallas, Tx in 2014 at Texas Frightmare Weekend along with the other cast members from Nightmare as well. I felt bad for him because EVERYBODY wanted him to do the Freddy voice and I was thinking " damn give the guy a break "....Lol

Please Robert, give us just one more Freddy movie! But instead of a prequel, just continue off where either Freddy's Dead or Freddy Vs. Jason left off. That way we can get some nice special effects & kills in some trippy ass dream lands. It would be incredible to have Robert playing Freddy in 2015, because there's so much that can be done now with film that they may have not been able to pull off in the 80's & 90's. Your never too old to play Freddy Robert! You're in great shape for you're age, and with the Freddy make-up on you can't even tell that you aged. We know this for a fact because you put the make-up on last year for a Comic-Con type event and you still pulled it off perfectly.

@@davidarcudi230 I know. The Comment that I left was from 2015, a few years before Robert appeared on The Goldberg’s. It was great to see him reprise Freddy. But, I wanna see him do an actual Freddy movie.
@@carabeck Most of the Nightmare On Elm Street films, were done without Wes Craven. The only ones that he did with Wes, were Parts 1 & 3, and New Nightmare. Wes had no involvement with any of the other films.
Im actually stunned he hasnt been pulled into one more film, he seems willing to do it but it must be something he cant talk about

The first time I saw who played Freddy I was surprised at how personable looking this actor was after that utterly terrifying figure in the original NOES. I knew he was a professional seeing that newspaper pic of him.

My dad loved V . I still never seen it . I was born 1981 My sister scared me 1985. I was 5 years old going to be 6 .she asked if I wanted to watch a movie . Stopped Freddy when he was getting ready to attack Tina:
From this point the fear got me to really loving Freddy.
After hearing him here, I can COMPLETELY understand why he was picked to be The Riddler on The Batman. (I really liked that show… and he was actually pretty intimidating!)
You can see Freddy in his eyes. Robert has such an interesting face.
If they make a new movie on Apple, he could play as Tim Cook ;)

Not sure you'll even see this Mick but I'm a writer and producer. Finally started to follow my dreams in the last 3 years and I'm producing my first movie that comes out in October called GO AWAY. Elm Street 2-6 were garbage. Freddy is only Freddy if he’s a psychopath killer with supernatural abilities to scare someone to death with their own fears- being stalked by a burned man with knifes for fingers that knows your name...
