Love them both. Heather was right when she hugs Robert and says he deserves to be among the ranks of legendary horror villains. He brought so much to that character and no one could ever play it like him. Robert IS Freddy. The way he moves, his eyes, his voice, everything.
I got to meet Robert at the Texas Frightmare weekend here in Dallas a couple of years ago, and he was AMAZINGLY nice, and very down to earth. I felt bad for him, because soooo many people in line to meet him were asking him to do the Freddy voice, and I was like, should I buy him some throat drops or bring him some honey and lemon. LOL
Luke Skywalker got blackout drunk one night and crashed on Freddy Krueger's couch. When he woke up the next morning, Luke saw Freddy a few feet away and freaked out. "Oh my god! I had an audition this morning and I just slept right through it!" "It's fine, something will turn up" Freddy said as he poured some coffee. "My friend says Fox is casting for some big new movie called Star Wars later this afternoon. You can still make it." THIS IS A TRUE STORY
It's so good to see these beloved actors from the franchise re unite for this interview and to see 1428 looking in tip top shape like the actors. I always loved the character of Nancy Thompson. She was one nut Freddy couldn't crack and just resorted to plain dirty trickery to get her in the end. :(
my god 3:02 his face is priceless...even in the orginal darker version there was still some great comedic moments like that face to me says robert breaks character a bit and just enjoys the prop spraying shit out everywhere and smiles like a happy child.
I will always be one of Freddy’s children! I saw the movie as a kid in the 80s and was scared to death and at the same time obsessed! A bucket list item would be to meet Robert!
I dream of meeting them in person, they are my favorite horror movie actors, Robert and Heather, as well as being super stylish. I'm Brazilian, born and raised in São Paulo, I'm proud to be a fan of these two top 1000 horror film myths. I hope that one day my dream will come true.
Heather's husband, David LeRoy Anderson won 2 oscars for best makeup. One for The Nutty Professor and one for Men In Black. So that means that there are two oscars in Heather Langenkamp's house. Knowing this makes me smile :)
I’ve had an opportunity to meet, talk to Robert at a couple movie festivals and he could not be a more humble, friendly, engaging, generous and appreciate to the fans. Most of the time he’s swamped because he takes time to talk, engage and take pictures with the Freddy fans.
Oh God,I really don't have a favorite. Please don't make me choose LOL! I so love all of them. It's hard to choose because there all so good. But if I had to pick I guess it would be Nightmare On Elm Street 4.The Dream Master :) But all of them are all so good :) Which one is your favorite William?
+Hannah Griffin Venegas becuase i love all the characters but specially*kincaid, joey, freddy of course, nancy obviously, kristen and the other girls who has an a drug addiction.
Yes, she interrupted him a few times (and in all fairness, the opposite happened a couple of times, too), but I think it was clearly nerves. The main takeaway for me here was the way she was glowing when fawning over him, his talent, his success, and his status as a horror film icon. You literally see the love in her eyes, and hear it in her voice. 👍
I don’t care how old is heather she is beautiful and I will never forget Wes and Freddy and the elm street house I will never forget none of it r.i.p Wes craven
These movies were a lot of fun, I’m 54 and still love to watch them. They should make one more, A Nightmare on Elm Street: Freddy’s Retirement. The aging kids from the original movies learn that their elderly parents who are in an assisted living community are all having strange nightmares, nightmares about a severely burned man in a red & black sweater with blades on his fingers.
Robert & Heather are movie legends... I was there past Dec, the place is haunting, God bless Wes Craven for making this movie... one of the best horror movie of all time...
I'm truly amazed by this seeing the both of them it's unbelievable they have such a great friendship different from what we saw on the Nightmare on Elm Street movies.
I'll always remember Robert England as freddy. He was the only one who gave me chills as krueger but also a chuckle too. I guess that's why I loved watching this movie.
Monster ive been there its nice to be there in person the street its on is soo dark loved it later i went on google found pics on inside . the backyard has a pool lol. it just so cool. and it sold recently for 1.2mill
The original castle Dracula in bran Romania was up for sale a couple years ago for 66 million, but the sales people were willing to go down to 15 million, don't know if anyone ever bought it or not.
I used to live 1 block away from that house at 1428 N. Genesee back in 1991 and walked by it every day to visit my friend on Hollywood Blvd. Kurt and Courtney lived around the corner on Spaulding at the time. I lived at Fountain and Spaulding.
Im totally agree with heather's said, the fans love to hear this actors talk about theire experiences in the films and in real life, i love this kind of interviews because i can feel closer to them, i love nancy's character so much, and watching heather give us this interviews is very important to fans
Thanks for the upload. This was a good idea and set up bringing the both of them to the house. Such an important part of the series. Nancy and Freddy!!!!! Rest In Peace Wes Craven.
The funny thing is, the name Langenkamp is originally a Dutch name. It is not a common name but it's cool that this name is familiar in the horror movies scene. A true icon.
After The Evil Dead Wes Craven mades a wonderful Horror-Movie that escorted my childhood. I saw Nightmare on Elm Street Posters in our video store in the 80's and early 90's.
She's so right.... He gives so much to Freddy. He goes to so many Freddy events and 'cons' and screenings. Like she said, fans want to feel closer and he definitely allows that to happen.
The smartest move the franchise did was to keep the character of Nancy recurring. She was always kind of a foil for Freddy, so when she would show up, you knew it was going to be great. I just consider it a trilogy, with the original, part 3, and New Nightmare. The other movies had some fun moments, but those 3 are great horror flicks. Think I'll watch New Nightmare right now!
My god it’s a bog standard 3/4 bed detached house worth £200-250,000 max it’s nothing special it’s a normal street even houses near me in exclusive areas sell for less than half mil less than 400k even. 2.1m what bollox i do believe someone got ripped off there definitely quantity over quality.
You could tell she is nervous, which is the tell in the interview. Honestly this is Heather's Only claim to fame and she probably has gotten a bit rusty with her interview skills, especially with Robert, who has been interviewed most of his life about Freddy, who is not only a Horror Icon, but a Icon in general.
Freddy Kruger is as famous as Batman now but when he came out all the killers we had were the strong silent Jason and Michael’s but Freddy was a loud, fast, wisecracking monster. Such a fresh, unique and memorable character.
The original Freddy will never be replaced :(
True but JEH could have been great if they'd given him a real script.
Basma Abdallah. I agree 💯
MMMMMMM Robert Englund SO SEXYYYYYYY I'm CRAZY ABOUT HIMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
+Mr. Dmitri OMG thats an understatement. that horriable excuse for a movie was an insult to everone associated with the original nightmare
+Lolita Devils Advocate omg i never looked at Robert that way but ya as he gets older he is a little sexy lol
Heather is STILL BEAUTIFUL.... And Robert.... Is still Freddy....
He looks like he just puts on his glove and jumps out of bushes to scare people when he's bored xD
@@flevami Wouldn’t you do the same? I definitely would. I would compete in Halloween costume contests or Freddy contests lmfao.
@@miranda13c Definitely, it's why I love him!
You read my mind here.
the older robert gets the more he looks like freddy even without makeup
Heather Langenkamp as Nancy Thompson was badass.
*Any actress could've played her as well (or even better)*
Rest in peace Wes craven thanks for the nightmare
what RIP ....
Wes craven writer and director of nightmare on elm street and new nightmare and directed all the scream movies passed away
+tyler solomon I cry when I found out he pass away good bye Wes thank you for the nightmares, Freddy and Ghostface
Well said brother!
tyler solomon nightmares* ah good stuff, challenging
Love them both. Heather was right when she hugs Robert and says he deserves to be among the ranks of legendary horror villains. He brought so much to that character and no one could ever play it like him. Robert IS Freddy. The way he moves, his eyes, his voice, everything.
Robert is so charming and articulate, I love listening to him speak!
Aly Dematti He should do Audiobooks!
Me too n not just the interviews but he does a commentary track for freddy vs Jason n the original nightmare
@@craigwilson3532 He seems like a nice person.
Same! He’s so articulate and intelligent!
2 great icons of horror franchise. No one can ever replace Englund as Freddy. He literally is Freddy Krueger!!
Their chemistry is amazing
When heather hugs Robert at 3:34 is the cutest thing ever
3:37 lol and yes cuteeee
It’s a ruse…watch out for the glove!
The best horror movie ever. Thank you Heather and Robert! We love "A Nightmare on Elm Street".
RIP Wes craven you will live on forever 🙏 it's really awesome how Robert kinda stands like freddy sometimes!
Heather is such a sweetheart and listening to Englund talk is always a pleasure.
R.I.P. Wes Craven
That line fron robert ok not craven ?
I had such an insane crush on heather in the 1st and even more so in 'New Nightmare'
i still do lol
Yeah shes hot in New Nightmare!!
I'll never forgive New Line Cinema for NOT making that romantic comedy starring Heather and Robert that they mentioned in New Nightmare.
Uncle Joe same omg 😂😂
EXACTLY SAME I have this insane crush on her too
Heather's face is unique, you would recognize her in a huge crowd, she still has that "unique beauty" aura, all these years later
Love Her Smile 😊
I met robert in atlanta at walker stalker con. super sweet man. so so kind
That was awesome and I want to meet him too! :)
Freddy is the best killer ever! I love nightmare on elm street ❤️
Me too❤️❤️😍😍
So sweet to see Robert and Heather together. They seem to have a great bond.
Heather is an angel
A Nightmare on Elm Street is still great horror movie of all time.....November 16 1984
Eric Jones November 9, 1984
You can tell Heather looks up to Robert.
Robert is such a humble and amazing icon. I would love to meet this man!
I had a crush on Robert in these films omg too adorable lol
Susan Williams yes! Me too! *high five*
Susan Williams ME TOO

Nothing beats The original Nightmare on Elm Street
It’s a Classic for sure. But my personal favourite in the franchise, is Dream Warriors.
Except Dream Warriors...
@@brandonspain12345 Could you tell what's your argument on why that's a better movie?
I adore the first film and rank it the highest. Love that it dates from 1984 too. Makes it extra special.

Wow Heather and Robert are looking great for being older.

Robert and Heather look wonderful!

Heather and Robert rock and will forever be mortalized in one of the most iconic horror franchises. Loved the 1st one the best.
Wes Cravens brilliance will always be remembered and screamed about for generations.

Robert sounded like he was trying not to get frustrated with Heather talking over him
Lol it was the other way around. Robert Englund is. Self-proclaimed motormouth
sliat1981 Yea I agree, It was all good fun, But he cut her off a few times. But 30 years as friends I imagine they are used to each other.
Are you talking about the movies? They might have them at a Family a Video (since blockbuster doesn't exist anymore lol)
-_- Iol
He handled it well. It was noticeable. Maybe she was nervous.
The president and first lady of horror.
+Super J eh...... they can share the title nightmare is better then 🎃 anyways
Sarah Franks 2nd that
Renee Brown Nah, Jamie Lee Curtis gets that role.
I don’t see Michael & Laurie anywhere
Danny D nah close but that title belongs to Janet Leigh.

His Freddy voice is oh so sexy. Hi Nancy, Robert. Thank you so much. I am truly obsessed.

Not all of us are that rude. ;-)

This is great seeing them together talking. 🙂👍
Robert Englund, just, screams horror. He, literally puts, terror in our hearts. He's a, natural. And, he's good at, what, he, does best.
