Billy Rowan, aka The Undercover Hippy, is definitely not your average singer songwriter. His music brings together acoustic guitar, soulful vocals, infectious reggae rhythms, and the lyrical delivery of a skilled mc. After 7 years spent DJ’ing and MC’ing on the Drum & Bass circuit, Billy swapped the decks for a guitar and started out as a solo act in 2007.

After working with refugees the last 2 months and get to know those wonderful people more and more, and the awful outcome of viennas elections on sunday I have the urge to spread that song over whole Vienna so loud that everybody will listen to it and change some minds!

Fleeing your native land instead of taking a stand, then going to someone’s else’s and making demands. When your cause is just the world would be by your side to help you rebuild your own nation and not to run and hide.
That's an interesting if fundamentally flawed perspective. Asylum seekers by definition are running exactly BECAUSE they took a stand and are now at risk of being imprisoned or killed in their home country. And having a just cause unfortunately doesn't mean the world runs to fight your corner. For that you need lots of material resources or strategic usefulness. Hence why we are supporting Saudi Arabia in their destruction of Yemen, supporting Israel in their killing of Palestinian civilians, and so on. Anyway, there is certainly space in the market for a right wing protest singer, let me know when the album drops! :D

The undercover hippy I disagree with what you say there they don't take a stand hence we have to help them pay for them and use billions of Our money to help those who will never be grateful for the help and will always want more look at Britain we help asylum seeker's and now they want there laws available here and they claim were racist when we say no if we were so racist we would close our borders and watch them die but we don't. I would rather our borders keep us rich and happy then let in those who want to hurt or kill us the open border policy is what allowed terrorism to breed in our peaceful nations where the national people now don't feel safe in there own country. Great music I can't deny but your views are the only thing that is fundamentally flawed.
