Hey Bud, yeah, I've often thought it would be great to do a collab with both those guys. Always been too shy to ask I guess! Akala was actually in my youth work session i run the other day, working with young mc's, but didn't manage to pop the question...!
this track is one of my favourites, i do love the old ones, i think it definitely stands the test of time. big love for your gigs this summer, was a great season for festivals. peace x
Please do it. I play Lowkey's "Soundtrack to the Revolution" all the time in my car....and since I downloaded your album with "money money money" on ......I play that all the time too....a combination of you and Lowkey would be phenomenal, you are both Heroes to the cause. PLEASE do it :-) Humanity needs you ♥
Definitely one of my favourite songs. Keep up the amazing work, spreading some of the most positive thought-provoking ideas through music that I have ever head. I have read on these comments people linking you to Lowkey and Akala, Theres also High Focus Records, Fliptrix has some incredible songs, figured it might be worth mentioning. Can't wait for "Monkey Suit" to drop. Keep it up! Peace
Hey Billy! Jack here (The guy from 3 years ago who emailed you fresh out of a coma because i was singing your music and causing complaints from other ward patients :') Long time no talk!) I was wondering recently, if you're considering (or have already) doing a song about the current situation in the UK. What with the "Refugee Crisis" still causing discrimination and ignorance while lebanon shelter 2million refugees (so i hear...) fracking laws being shoved down our throats and agricultural laws making farming much harder for the country folk. I don't even watch the news or even tv and this is being shoved down my throat. Or even a song about current world situations... Idk, Your music emanates positive energy and i feel like the world could do with more of it right now, especially with everything that's going on. Anyway man i need to get back to work :') Love and light, peace. -Jack Waldock a.k.a Jax Fyre
Ohhh Awesome! I also noticed that in the "Pledge" campaign song, there was some songs that weren't in the monkey suit album... Should we be expecting those to be released with the next album? (Sorry if it seems like i'm interviewing you! Just really hyped up now you said that :P )
+Jack Waldock which ones? One of them is the b side on the borders single, which you get by donating to refugees on my site. The other, "don't ask me", I recorded for the last album but wasn't happy with it. I might try and get it finished this time around! Were there more?
"There's only so much" Is the other one, i believe! about 8:40 into the pledge video. + Yeah i love what i'm seeing so far for the "Don't ask me", i really hope you can finish it in time for the next album bro! Or even, a rough acoustic version on your youtube profile would be so amazing to see!
Love your songs but there is only so much space anywhere. I'm no locksmith but anyone travelling through 5 safe countries to get to easily mugged off England should go elsewhere. We wont take scum anymore. Just nice people.
Hey Chas, Lots of people think like you do. But here's a question: where did you get that idea from? What makes you think that our country is taking in "scum"? What makes you think that they had the option to be safe in the other countries they passed through? What makes you think that the refugees we are turning away or putting in detention camps aren't "nice people". The reality, in my opinion, is this: The powerful and wealthy class in this country have been slowly destroying the country for years, selling off our public services, pushing up income inequality through neoliberal policies, and generally doing whatever serves their own interests and the interests of big business, at the expense of the ordinary people. We now have a prime minister who is a literal billionaire telling people that we have to introduce austerity measures, because the alternative (taxing billionaires) just isn't an option. Anyway, my point is that the country is fucked, and the real world impacts of that on ordinary people are these - people struggling to find work, struggling to find housing, and losing their standard of living. When this happens in a country (not just ours, but pretty much any country, ever), those in power start to worry that the people might get a bit pissed off that their lives are so hard, so to deflect attention away from themselves and their disastrous policies, they find a scapegoat. It used to be the jews, but nowadays it's refugees, and usually muslim refugees. They stir up fear of "the other". Fear of people "not like me". They tell us "They are the reason you have no housing, no jobs, no opportunities! They are the ones stealing your children's future!". But this is all bullshit. The right-wing media do what they've always done... serve the interests of the powerful and wealthy by selling the narratives that they create. And people hear it so many times that it becomes the truth. So by all means have an opinion on this matter, but before you get too sure of it, make extra sure that it's your own :) Really glad you're loving the songs mate, and thanks for sharing your thoughts 🙏 x

Cheers Silas! Glad you're feeling the concious vibes! Please share far and wide! Great work in the workshop by the way... :)
