I agree, I use pray glue with a brush. Gives Zebra nymphs a nice shine that does not fade that accentuates the body color. Makes the fly bombproof too.
Hi, I dig that fly pattern. Really quick question though about your uv resin use, “after the application of resin, do you leave the metal applicator tip on, and then screw the black lid on over that? OR “Do you remove the applicator part before screwing the black cap back?” Thank you.
Do this fly but I stick with red and use a black or sometimes green marker pen to color it before wrapping the wire … simple fly but deadly on the right day 👍👍

Nice job Cade! Thanks for the inspiration, productive looking pattern, I will tie some up!
Pretty simple chironomid, 👍
Really cool tye, Cade !.. Thanks for the offering.
Really nice tie, will for sure tie some up
Deadly fly - been tying this with yellow thread instead of black. Strawberry Lemonade is what I nicknamed it.
Thanks for sharing.

very nice tie. cade. can you tell me what brand tool you are using to apply your resin? Do you sell them in the store? thanks. 🙂🎣
What resin do you recommend. I use loon but it changes the color of the pattern?
Just about any resin will change the color. Use lighter color thread so that when it darkens it will be the color you want.
Original Krazy glue will not change the thread color. It’s the best stuff for chironomids.
