- All that glitters is GOLD! And our Goldie Lox chironomid pupa fly is 24K! The "goldie" is a unique chironomid that makes appearances on our local waters yearly. And when it does, the bows take notice and you better have a fly pattern to rep it or you'll be out of luck! This is our go to Goldie Chironomid Pupae fly pattern!

Thanks B. going to twist a few of these up for next week when we come into your hood.
Awesome! Tight lines to ya!
Good information!! Thanks!! Tight lines🕷️🐛🐜!!!!!!
You bet! Thanks for watching!
Good day Sir!
I have been really enjoying your videos and appreciate your skills in fly tying! I would love to get my hands on some of that gold flashabou with black speckles, but can’t seem to find it anywhere! Apparently, #6933 has been discontinued. Would you know anywhere I could obtain at least 2 packs? Thank you in advance and have a great day! Tight lines, sir!
hmm, we'll do some research and see if we can find a substitute ...
Hey great chironomid once again!!
I predominantly just use your patterns the last few years...as they work!!
I was wondering though, if you do a good coat of crazy glue, like I see you do...is a second coat needed, or is one enough?
Thanks...
Awesome stuff, love to hear it! Just one good coat gets it done👍🏻
Thanks
great chorny i was wondering what krazy glue u use the krazy glue i used turned white
turns white if it gets wet
Just plain brushable Krazy glue ... thin coats and let it completely dry in-between ;)
is it a glacier flash?
Don’t remember John. Anything gold with black flakes or speckles or black with gold would work.
Hedron speckled gold flashabou #6933?
I second this! Looks like a dead ringer
Good call!
Thanks for posting. I’m thinking Flashabou #6986 might work too?
agreed!
