Can we just appreciate how Jinora was younger than Aang, mastered her spirituality, risked her life for Korra and gut stuck in the spirit world, is the most mature child of Tenzin, and when her head gets shaved she looks like Aang. She is one of the best characters in Korra. She's so strong and intelligent and easily one of my favorite characters and reminds me soooo much of Aang .
Facts
Finally found someone who likes Jinora as much as I do💜💜💜
zayna why is jinora gut stuck in the spirit world
Eric John dela Cerna cause unalaq send her spirit to this place called the fog of lost souls
and she’s now the youngest airbending master in history, such a queen ugh
2000s kids were spoiled with some seriously sick animation.
DEADASS 😂😂😂
It's a 2010's cartoon though.
sephiroth21 majority of the people that watched legend of korra, watched the original atla
sephiroth21 people born in 2010 were too young to really understand the show or probably even watch it, not to mention the whole ATLA series before LOK. Kids born below 2006 have more of a connection to the shows because of the love for the original and the the love for the sequel
We continue getting spoiled
When Korra sees her cosmic self and walks down the path of light like Aang did, even after losing her connection to her past lives, it never fails to bring tears to my eyes.
Matt Bradley Ikr me too 😭
ME TOO
It's such a powerful scene. So moving
That what Book 2 is called Earth. As tooth said earth is a stubborn element and you have to move it yourself.

"Go in peace."
"Harmonic Convergence is nearly over. We must return to the Spirit World so we can fuse once again."
- Raava, Spirit of Light and Peace
“Find the light in the dark”
@@fernandobernal5863 ironic how Unalaq's own words gave Korra the insight on how to defeat him and Vaatu.
@@mattgerrish908 there’s not a single time where I don’t cry at this scene
"Go in peace."
+The Boulder peace seems a bit of a strange word to you, huh boulder?
your still here?
It is you're. (you are)
hi boulder
Hey boulder. What's up?
I know it's ridiculous but this song always gets to me. Can you just imagine how small you would feel standing next to a giant representation of all the potential within you? Here you are, struggling and burdened, and yet this is here to remind you of what you're capable of becoming, but also how far you'll have to go to get there.
I just love how solemn the avatar state/space scenes are.
It's not.
It's an amazing feeling
U r all powerful and it is manifested itself to remind you, always...
Or,in this case, the Avatar
I feel the same!
no.
Definitely not ridiculous man, re watching this show on Netflix makes me feel so many emotions, but this song in particular brings me to tears every time
Anybody else notice that the beginning of this song is a variation from the music used in zuko and azula's agni kai? No wonder this sounded so familiar. :)
Kurvacious Kitty yes deary
Also towards the end has some “Zuku on the Mount” vibes
I don't think it's meant to be a variation, but it's similar alright. :)
wish we had more than 13 seconds of that theme in the last agni kai
I think every music of LOK is a variation from ATLA music
This song is both sad and hopeful, as it plays when Raava dies, but also plays when Korra finally connects with her own spirit. It's also just an amazing score, my god!
I imagine that the music is of great change. It represents sadness and loss of faith and hope when terrible change comes, while also being the hope and wonderment of better change.
+Jenny Ke You're absolutely right. I totally agree.
Jenny Ke I agree with you on that
this tempo also appears during Zuko and Azula's Agni Kai
say what you will about LOK... but the music is breathtaking...
The music is amazing indeed. I think people expected another powerful character like aang. I feel like korra shows a mentally weaker avatar. I feel like LOK was abit realistic where things didn't end up how they should've been.
@@rationxl2922 I agree! I feel like Korra gets a lot of unnecessary hate. Her story is not as lovable as Aang's and she's definitely a mentally weaker avatar, but people forget that she's NOT Aang! I think if you stop expecting LOK to be ATLA and take the story as it is you can enjoy it. LOK had some really out-there ideas and really cool villains. There were some sucky parts of the story, but some really awesome parts as well-- and of course the music!
Also Zaheer
I not even watched the show but the music is dope
WHY DO I GET DO EMOTIONAL LISTENING TO THIS? ??? I MISS AANG. I MISS KORRA NOW! !! STILL MISS AANG THE MOST BUT OMG THE FEELS ARE SO STRONNG.ATLEAST I KNOW I'M HUMAN
***** ME TOOOO AANG COME BACK PLEASE!!! (when i post this i cry :'( ).
I can not wait for continuation of Aang or Korra journey.
Mr. Hishprung are they gonna continue one of them?
I hope, for me I want see a continuation of Aang and Katara or Korra jouney in Avatar world :)
Mr. Hishprung that said that they want to try new things. This is bullshit they can't just ditch the damn series.i want more aang and korra
I prefer Nickelodeon... :)
This is the closest I can get to a full soundtrack of that epic violin opening of the last Agni Kai from ATLA
H123 yes I agree

thank you
Ugh will always be sad that there isnt a soundtrack for those few epic seconds....

Korra honestly looks like a Hindu goddess in this
gdfd
I believe the series was inspired by south east Asia, India, Myanmar etc. reason why the show is so amazing!
@@jrdnnss Actually I believe it was mainly based on Spiritualality (which is similar to Hinduism but at the same time has several key differences)
Sure!!! May I ask, are you from some Asian country? Cause I'm Asian too.
I think, the whole series was based on some Hindu religious culture. Like Lord Vishnu's Avatars. Appeared to bring back balance to the world. 10 Avatar's. As much as I
know.

Korra's animation quality and music was top tier
Highest level of tearbending achieved. This is profound, epic stuff. I love Legend of Korra so damn much.
Victor Chen me too , sad that the show end
Anod Hussin They are making a new seaso :)
Marlin Evelins really , I thought it's only a new comic they said that book four is the last book
Really?
Leaves from the vine...
I remember watching this part as a kid and being fascinated when Korra sees her cosmic self and walks down the path just like Aang. Now seeing it as an adult, I am legitimately crying because of nostalgia.
God bless Jeremy Zuckerman. He is an amazing composer
The legend of Korra is my favorite soundtrack ever along with the legend of Zelda, Deus EX HR, and Attack on Titan.
Zuckreman definitely knows the true meaning of music. He puts his heart and soul into these magnificent songs and it is quiet obvious... I get goosebumps everytime I hear a few certain songs!!!
*****
Omg same with me!
Avatar has the greatest soundtracks that ever existed!
Shame only a few people are Avatar fans and people say its childish :/
~ISV don't listen to those ass holes I'm 16 and avatar is in my opinion the best show ever aired
Dude Avatar has a special place in my heart , specialest , whenever my friends rant on about how childish I am and how bad this show is I just go on about their dumb 'Family Guy' bullshit.
In lightest day, in darkest night,
No evil spirit shall escape my sight.
Let those who worship Vaatu's might
Beware my power... Jinora's light!
I would say Avatar's light, but that works too
EdSkywalker But the title isn't "Avatar's Light"
Woah that was awesome! :D it kinda reminds me of Narnia
Genius!
Teemo6544
It's actually a Green Lantern reference
(I'm not a comic book fan, but I've heard of it)
"Even in the material world, you will find that if you look for the light, you can often find it, but if you look for the dark, that is all you will ever see."
"Many things that seem threatening in the dark become welcoming when we shine a light on them."
- Uncle Iroh
People complain and don"t understand the whole Jinora coming in, but I thought it was great. She shed light in the dark that exposed Raava (Uncle Iroh explained it to Korra), she guided Korra to the spirit world and to the light spirit, and she saved her spirit from being engulfed in darkness much like Korra saved her from the same fate. All woven in a very subtle way.
Edit: Wow I wrote this so long ago and my opinions have definitely changed since then. I re-watched the entire series and enjoyed things from it but have seen many flaws that I missed from my last viewing (especially from this book). I've heard many You-tubers re-imagine this book and I enjoyed it more than what we've got, but that's just me, many people still like this season and I'm glad that they did. People change and opinions change. I still like this song.
how
Tyler Young how it is subtle?
pigglypoof How did she do that?
she's more in tune with the spirits, book three further developed this :)
pigglypoof To me that's just not a credible answer. Book 3 didn't develop this at all. The only thing it developed was more questions and a middle finger to the answers we deserve. I can understand her going into the spirit world, but for her to feel Korra's defeat approaching and project her spirit and produce a light that brought the rebirth of Raava with no prior training was just poor development in ability. Book 3 said this was a spiritual technique and I quote "with some airbending stuff"
"BE CAREFUL SWEETIE!!"
"Find the light in the dark."
I'm tearbending...
Same. It's so amazing
Btw, Korra is the first Avatar who's not the bridge between spirit - and normal World since 10.000 Years, so fix your discription!
Avatar Korra they need to bring the show back do they know how big their fan base was
We really need as a fan base to get Nickelodeon to release the season 3&4 soundtrack
+saitama black goku Yeah
WHEN JINORA GOT HER TATTOOSS T.T i was so proud
So beautiful. This, is one of the most beautiful themes that I have ever heard from any TV show. No question. It is irrefutable.
+ProjectMasterpiece honestly never saw music like this coming I was expecting it from Final Fantasy more then this
I see. I can understand that.
still great music
took my picture
+saitama black goku Lmao. Black Goku's a badass.
Jinora's light is from her spirit. She is is one the allies of Raava.
can't stop listening to this
Ikr I keep replaying it. You can feel the emotions in the song. It's so beautiful. This is my favorite LoK track.
Why would you want to stop?
kookygremlin24 I don’t actually want to. It’s a really beautiful theme, honestly
I absolutely loved Book 2!!!! I felt like I had finally learned who the avatar truly was and what their purpose was. While ATLA showed me what the avatar was capable of, I feel like LOK has shown me who the avatar is behind all their power. I at first thought that a season about spirits would be absolutely lame and a waste, and I was dead wrong! While the villain definitely took a backseat throughout most of the season, I enjoyed not having everything centered around him. This season answered so many questions and it truly was phenomenal. And come on, there can't be a hater that can complain about us getting Varrick and Zhu Li!
do the thing!
I agree. It wasn't perfect, but you know what? Weather people want to or not, neither was season 1 of Korra or Avatar were either. But of course the flaws are vastly outmatched by all the wonderful characters and episodes.
We gained so much more than we've lost. I still really like Unalaq even if I can't ever say it without attempted crucifiction by fans.
Season 2 wasn't quite the best for Korra, the best was yet to come, but it marked the point for me where it found it's own voice with darker storytelling and being unafraid to expand upon Avatar's legacy. It stopped feeling like an Avatar spinoff, and as a worthy sequel in it's own right that chose to take things in a different direction, and not be Aang2.0.
***** Why is everyone who disagrees with you people a "hater"?
Exactly!
"While ATLA showed me what the avatar was capable of, I feel like LOK has shown me who the avatar is behind all their power."
One of my favorite explanations of the Airbender and Korra series' is that Aang was a human that had to learn to be the Avatar; Korra was an avatar that needed to learn to be a human. You stated this idea in a different way and I like it.
"Why did you never tell us you were the Avatar?"
"Because... I never wanted to be." -Aang
"I Needed To Understand What Real Suffering Was, So I Could Become More Compassionate To Others." -Korra
We just finished Season 2 in a marathon. I don't understand how anybody could hate it: I was blown away. The finale had me absolutely riveted.
Season 3 is just perfection in itself
It's getting late
you should go to sleep now
"Go in Peace"
The scene where the past lives were being destroyed.. with this in the background.. gave me chills..
I think that's the writers' way of saying: we're not relying on Aang's legacy to boost the show anymore; this is Korra's story now.
TheInfernityZero haha well they did a good job!
This just makes me cry! The emotion is played so well. The vibratos are in the perfect places!😭
Man, this is fuckin' beautiful.
I seriously don't get the book 2 haters. I personally loved the spirits theme and I thought it told a lot about the world of Avatar. Book 2 showed us the other side of the world, the spirit world, in depth. Unlike ATLA, which only seemed to poke certain aspects of the spirit world. I think book 2 also answered a lot of big fan questions. Who was the first Avatar? What exactly is the Avatar? Stuff like that was answered in book 2.
That's one of the reasons why I can appreciate book 2 and actually like it more than book 1. It's not far behind book 3 either. Before book 2, I was very interested in the spirit world. It's just such a magical place. After I had watched book 2, my interest in the spirit world had doubled.
I think many were disappointed by episodes 1-6. Those episodes regressed Korra's character development and retconned her energybending from existence. Korra was so unbearable during those episodes, they made me want to quit too, until Beginnings came along and redeemed the whole season. After that episodes 9-14 were great since they focused on the Spirit World.
***** Not to mention another studio animated the episodes before "Begginings" and one or two after them.
eduardobm I honestly didn't even notice that.
***** I didn't at first too, but then I started to think "is that the animation that I thought was the best I ever seen? Looked a litte better in my head..." Seriously, just Google "Pierrot vs. Mir" and check the comparisons. Faces at a certain distance look terrible.
By the way, Pierrot is the studio that animates Naruto, Mir is the official studio (they did all the other episodes + the entire book 4)
I liked everything, except the part where the connection to the Avatar spirits was lost. I wanted to see more of Aang and the other avatar spirits.
I like LOK but this soundtrack was too incredible for this show. And as much as i love ATLA (masterpiece), LOK 's soundtrack is on a whole nother level.
Korra is a great show. Watch it without the nostalgia bias
agreed
John Smith Period😪
Princess Azula exactly 😤
I feel like LOK wasn't bad, i think because people were already in love with ATLA that they expected LOK to be similar. But, we got something totally different. I still think this show could've done somethings a bit better, but this show was just as good as ATLA, and in my opinion even better (At some things.)
This and Makos sacrifice are *the... hands down... best music in LOK*
One of the most beautiful, emotional and purist pieces of art I have ever heard and will probably ever hear.
ami seriously the only person who liked book 2?
Nope
I think book 2 was amazing.
Every season of Korra has been unique and fresh. Book 1 was a crazy new world with a very convincing villain. Book 2 the growth of the characters continued, (Tenzin, Korra, and Jinora had many character building moments). The villain was more or less the background of the story until the end and it was more focused on the characters evolving and revealing the lore of the world. The ending of Book 2 established a new era of possibilities for the final two books along with Korra having less guidance available for the final books. From what I've experienced in Book 3 so far, the show has developed it's characters and villains incredibly this book and I cannot wait to see what happens this Friday in the Finale!
I loved book 2, i think the characters in book 2 have learnt their lessons about they won't repeat it again such as keeping secrets, love triangle bullshit, etc. it was awesome to learn about how the first avatar cycle began and we had the opportunity to know more about spirits. Book 2 may have been weird somehow but I enjoyed it. 👍

Which reminds me -- someone, either Nick or SOMEONE, needs to make a "Zhu Li, do the thing!" shirt! :(

Yes, it's happening.

Korra has such an amazing sound track!
Even after all this time it still feels like I'm getting punched in the heart from this
That artwork looks nothing short of religious, I LOVE IT.
No one gonna talk about how jinora
found korra,
saved korra,
saved the world and got trapped in the spirit world
listen up Disney, this is how you make a strong female
I always thought that season 2 spirits was kinda scary, and this song is like hountingly beautiful in a way..
To be honest I think season two was the best. The villains, the music, the characters and most of all, the battles. The way korra fought unavattu after she lost her connection to her past lives AND connects to her cosmic energy and BEATS THE HECC OUT OF UNALAK makes me respect korra a lot.

I'm so glad you said this.
ROBLOX Megan You're not Japanese are you.
I'll be honest, I think Book 2's season finale was 10 times better than the series finale.
EdSkywalker Me and my friend are in agreement. Felt much more final with this finale. Plus, Vaatu was much more of a threat than Kuvira ever was.
logicalfallacy234 indeed
***** You do have a point, I'm pretty sure quite a lot of fans prefered Korra empathizing with Kuvira over Korra defeating Vaatu, and felt it was much more emotional and enjoyable.
***** Yeah it would have been cool to see Korra and Asami get more depth than they did in the show, but oh well, it was still a solid pairing.
EdSkywalker In my opinion Book 2 ALK is the most beautiful book of the all 4 books.
Look mom, its Jinora. She is...beautiful :)
I loved Book 2 just as much as the other books, and this piece represents every bit of Book 2's charm.
I’m convinced this and The Last Agni Kai are the best pieces of soundtrack ever composed for television or cinema. “Peace” is a close contender too
The song adds so much to the actions of the show - I loved every minute of it.
This was the most thrilling, dramatic, exciting, emotional moment of season 2.
Book 2 is seriously underrated
Book 2 and 3 are the best in my opinion
I don’t understand what Jinora did against the dark avatar, did she turn into a flash bang or something
Legend of Korra OST brings so many tears to my eyes and makes me remember them
It was the middle of the night when I watched this scene
My Mom was loosing her hair because of quimio and I had decided to go bald with her
But my hair had always been kind of a protection to me so I was really insecure about that decision
When I saw Jinora bald with a pure smile on her face it helped me have the strength to cut my hair that night
That I was a big step to me
It’s like korra is a goddess
Everyone should hear this masterpiece
indeed i agree with you pretty boy.

This is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard. I swear I'm on the verge of tears every time I hear this.
Can we just appreciate the relationship honors has to korra. She helped her in book 2 and 3 and 4. A true friend and savior.
"Find the light in the dark".
Jinora is literally my favorite character I love her so much
The chills I got from this are abnormal...

I love Bella and the Bu-, who am I fooling?
Eric Richard Haha I ot scared for a second!
Every sad scene in LOK goes with this song perfectly
Just finished rewatching Korra through season 3, and Jinora's theme plays again in the Service and Sacrifice piece. This really is her motif. Love it and I love her arc in the series.
This is such an epic sounding soundtrack, like something you’d hear at the end of time or something.

Maybe it's not as good as The last airbender series.
But this doesn't mean The legend of Korra is a bad series, I don't understand the hate it receives, sometimes I wonder if they ever watched a single episode
For me both series are masterpieces
same each tell their own story and hold a dear place in my heart
I had nonstop chills and goosebumps when I saw Korra letting go all of her earthly attachments and connecting to the cosmic energies. Such a great soundtrack!
Find the light in the dark.
one of the best songs
When I was younger i watched parts of Legend of Korra and for some reason stopped watching it and didn't finish. Years later after watching all the seasons of Legend of Korra again as an adult just starting out her life it just hits different. The way u see the animation as a child and see certain lessons differntly but pick up and understand some of the lessons that this animation talks about as u get older is just astonishing. Just thinking about it for some reason makes me emotional nd idk why tho😭😭 but this is one of my most favorite songs along with the episode with harmonic convergence "Light in the Dark" something about it just hits deep in the feels🤷🤷💙
I love the explosive drums at the peak of the song, really makes you feel amazed
Watched the last episode yesterday, cried my eyes out because I had Avatar and LOK feels, and the series I grew to love with all my heart just ended.
This show is so awesome ! ❤❤
this song hits me with the goosebumps every damn time
Aang's true successor
Both shows have some of the most impeccable music on TV. On par with Game of Thrones and exceeding in a few areas in terms of score
although i know people have their reservations about this season, i personally like the whole season itself, including season 2
What a beautiful song.👏👏
this piece made me cry more than uh any of the music. Jinora is such a well written and beautiful character bro im tearing up thinking about this
Greatest song ever and an unbelievable accompany to the finale of book 2. I really love the way the song is showing a true conflict and how Jinora's Light was really the Light in the dark.
i was SOBBING through the entirety of this, i felt so much for korra
The first 35 seconds is out of this world am amazing it sounds like the ending of the most insane battle we’ve ever witnessed before.. all u picture if blow after blow and it’s just dark and powerful. This is ridiculously good I’m still speechless after over 6 years
These songs never Failed to keep me in balance

Best musical piece in the series hands down
A different version of this track's beginning also plays in the final Agni Kai in The Last Airbender.
