Kuruk didn’t neglect his duty as the avatar, Yancheng focused on the human world which made the spirits angry, Kuruk spent his life battling dark spirits to achieve balance, which is why he died so young, but most people believe he neglected the people and he let them, to preserve Yancheng’s memory

Just imagine now if they knew before doing season 1 that they can do 4 seasons. These are the greatest shows I've ever seen. No other show (with real actors or anime) hitted me so much. These are two masterpieces and I don't care about people saying it's trash just because there's 2 or 3 problems
- Avatar Kyoshi = Earth "The element of Substance" - Avatar Roku = Fire "The element of Power" - Avatar Aang = Air "The element of Freedom" - Avatar Korra = Water "The element of Change" Each avatar life is adapted to its element
“The Element of substance” = Avatar Kyoshi - An incredibly powerful warrior who always did what she thought was right to protect her nation. “The Element of Power” = Avatar Roku - Displayed how abusing your power leads to darkness but ignoring your power leads the same way. “The Element of Freedom” = Avatar Aang - Brought freedom to the world by ending the 100 year war. “The Element of Change” = Avatar Korra - Drastically changed the relationship between humans and spirits by choosing to leave the portals open.
Together with The Last Airbender it surpasses all other shows for me real life aswell the music is insane well produced in the whole franchise aswell best ever for me hope they will one day make another series or continue Korra
Last Agni Kai was always the most stirring and powerful scene when I was younger watching it, and now I'm rewatching The Last Airbender and honestly can't wait for it.
No matter how many people hates TLOK, i still loves the show and Korra as a character. I don't care what people said that Korra was a bad Avatar or anything, to me she was a great Avatar regardless of many mistakes she has made. I loves her as a character, i really do. Yes, she made tons of mistakes, but that what makes her great, that's part of her journey as the Avatar, and that what makes her so relatable to me. Yes, i know TLOK isn't perfect, it has many flaws, but i still loved it and it is still a great show despite many flaws it has. For people who hesitate to watch TLOK, mainly because many people hates it, i got a message for y'all: WATCH IT AND JUDGE IT FOR YOURSELF! Stop hesitating. Just watch it. if you didn't like it or hates it, it's okay, maybe it didn't match your taste, nothing wrong with that. If you like it and loved it, welcome mate!

Avatar atla and Lok changed my life because I had a pain for too long like 10 years but after I watched this, I just got the power to fight against my pain that stayed for too long. Thank you😇, Greatest change did affected me.
I used this particular scene and music as inspiration for something I wrote as well. Face it, as far as a transformation goes, that one was pretty goddamn awesome.
3:00 is my favorite, when Aang and all the past Avatars appear. It’s very awe inspiring because of the legacy that being the Avatar implies. Bringing balance to the world, upholding justice, and knowing that you’re the latest in a long line of legendary and amazing people… that’s gotta be incredible.
As a young man it feels depressing knowing what you are fully capable of but can't manifest it in the moment due to some circumstances....that's how I relate to Korra.
I'm tearing up because it's over, there's nothing more for the Avatar series to teach us. We're left in the real adult world on our own, now with nothing but good memories of what this show taught us. Grateful still.

It is to be so well, proud if your own meaning, skill ir other traits that you become afraid to loose it or overly sure of your success. After all, you are so meaningful, important, rich, skillfull or just better than others. We all fail, but if you remember that you are neither better than anyone else overall, nor are they better than you, than you can always find peace in the realization that you are allowed to fail, that you will fail again and that everyone does so just like you. Without the belief in our own superiority, without our blind pride in our self as a whole, we cannot fall into self destructive shame as easily. Since we are well aware that we can and will fall and as such our world doesn‘t crumble once we do. It‘s a very complex emotional or rather philosophical field condensed into a single phrase. That is why it‘s so underrated and so strong a phrase from a show back then still meant largely for kids. When I talk about ATLA not being a kids show after a certain point, I refer to this more so than the fights. These kinds of concepts will go right over the head of not just a few adults, but kids on nikelodeon ? They did hear it tho and maybe, just maybe some were positively influenced by it
Just hearing this... we need an Avatar in this generation. We need someone to stand against the Tyranny happening now.... an Avatar that speaks for the people, and changes the world that ACTUALLY benefits the world. We need an Avatar, to Unite.
I love how both shows display such amazing character development.... aang became more adult and became very mature at a young age and korra got in touch with her emotions... something most of us today have difficulty doing... this is why I love the show
I feel like, out of all the fictional worlds so many amazing people have created, I would actually like to *live* in the avatar universe. Not only would it be a fascinating place to explore, but the lore and world building is so well done, you really get a sense of how each nation would function. If possible, I'd probably travel around a bit like the Secret Tunnel band, just taking in the sights and sounds of such a lovely and well crafted land. Apologies for this long, rambling post, I just kinda wanted to express how comforting the avatar universe always seems to be to me, despite all the horrific things that have happened in its past, the future always looks bright there, in the end :)
This soundtrack is a resemblance of this unfair and ruthless but yet so beautiful life. Look how it starts and then how it unfolds in the end, after your lowest point you will surely rise up to the sky

I'm so desperate for the next earthbender avatar series, that I even already made up an own story line in my head. And I'll have to admit my story is pretty dope 🔥
A broken spirit can always be mended, but never the same a great sacrifice must be made for there to be change. Sometimes that sacrifice is who we were.
The goats of shows, emotions and intensity in these two shows are just insane. And I'm not even a huge fan of animated series, now my two favorites are these two masterpieces.
The avatar, an individual known by many, but also so concealed in secret not even the avatar themselves knows why they are here, like many heroes they must forge their own reasons as to why the have been gifted the power of peace

This is 2023. This tv series and particular music piece helped me a lot during lockdown 2020. So grateful of it.

3:00 is my favorite, when Aang and all the past Avatars appear. It’s very awe inspiring because of the legacy that being the Avatar implies. We all fail, but if you remember that you are neither better than anyone else overall, nor are they better than you, than you can always find peace in the realization that you are allowed to fail, that you will fail again and that everyone does so just like you.
Without the belief in our own superiority, without our blind pride in our self as a whole, we cannot fall into self destructive shame as easily. Since we are well aware that we can and will fall and as such our world doesn‘t crumble once we do.
It‘s a very complex emotional or rather philosophical field condensed into a single phrase. That is why it‘s so underrated and so strong a phrase from a show back then still meant largely for kids. When I talk about ATLA not being a kids show after a certain point, I refer to this more so than the fights. These kinds of concepts will go right over the head of not just a few adults, but kids on nikelodeon ? They did hear it tho and maybe, just maybe some were positively influenced by it

I love how both shows display such amazing character development.... aang became more adult and became very mature at a young age and korra got in touch with her emotions... something most of us today have difficulty doing... this is why I love the show
I feel like, out of all the fictional worlds so many amazing people have created, I would actually like to *live* in the avatar universe. Not only would it be a fascinating place to explore, but the lore and world building is so well done, you really get a sense of how each nation would function. If possible, I'd probably travel around a bit like the Secret Tunnel band, just taking in the sights and sounds of such a lovely and well crafted land. Apologies for this long, rambling post, I just kinda wanted to express how comforting the avatar universe always seems to be to me, despite all the horrific things that have happened in its past, the future always looks bright there, in the end :)
This soundtrack is a resemblance of this unfair and ruthless but yet so beautiful life.

The true strength of the avatar is not the four elements in one, but rather it is the fact that the avatar never stands alone.
No show or series will ever be better than ATLA/LoK, such a unique show. My absolute favorite that I could watch over and over till the day I die.
The goats of shows, emotions and intensity in these two shows are just insane. And I'm not even a huge fan of animated series, now my two favorites are these two masterpieces.
