Bad sinus and bad eyesight can be a trigger I believe! Bot of which I have! I was too close to my phone for over a month being out of work and one day I had a panic attack out of nowhere and now have developed brain fog and racing thoughts/anxiety for a few weeks. I’m getting better but the thought of it still haunts me though out the day! I believe relaxing and just trying not to think about it helps a lot!

I honestly think the reason for my brain fog developed a few weeks ago is from bad vision and my nasal issues! I looked up and researched both, for the vision part of it I found out that having bad eyesight and trying to take in more than what your brain can handle with that bad eyesight can cause stress/anxiety and lead to brain fog or racing thoughts!
For the nasal part I have had a deviated septum for years without getting treatment. I looked up if it could possibly be a factor of brain fog and sure enough there is something called sinusitis which is a infection developed around the nasal cavities around the nose. So I hope this is the reason for my brain fog and if I can at least get one of them treated to see if it helps. My brain fog is more so racing thoughts and anxiety over memory loss and stuff like that. I am here and human! I just can’t stop stressing/worrying etc. hope this helps for anyone with bad eyesight or nasal issues possibly being a reason for this brain fog!

I can testify that having a stuffed nose can cause a foggy brain. Like, srsly. Even paranoia, anxiety and all kinds of dysfunction. Sinusitis decreases brain oxygen.

Right before my period I crave fast food. This weekend I had six cheeseburgers from In-N-Out Burger and four cookies from Chick-fil-A. I’m usually on a food hangover for a week. I noticed this is a pattern right before my period and it could be related to my period or eating all that terrible food that I’m not used to. I’m very fit, eat clean every other week besides the week leading to my period, and fast food is not in my diet. I’m wondering if my body is reacting to all the food I normally don’t eat giving me major brain fog, lack of motivation, laziness, or is this related to my period cycle

I just looked at the reviews for his book on Amazon. While they are generally favorable, it does seem that many people agree with me in that it’s a shame when a doctor providing the information seems biased because he’s selling and profiting from the solution. It’s always so much more refreshing and just generally feels better if the person sharing the wisdom has no financial gain in the solution. Just wish he would’ve wrote the book and wasn’t selling supplements. Really muddies the water as far as his credibility goes. I clicked off the site and didn’t order his book because of that.

My household has a sourdough culture that my wife has nurtured for almost ten years, we named it "bubbles". :-) The previous one was called fruity but it did not survive when we moved house. I have no idea what exactly is in it but in the past we have added to the random mix of whatever started the culture with whatever probiotics we had around so we may have our own little probiotic factory that is unique. We use this to make bread that is baked so we are only ever eat the dead bacteria, and their metabolites. It seems to work for us, but it is hard to be able to say that people will get the same results unless they use our culture as a starter. So is it worth the effort for other people to make their own sourdough as we do?

Sourdough culture never really dies if it's kept refrigerated. Mine sometimes grows a thick black mold on top if I've left it unattended for months. I just scoop off the mold, poor the rest into a new jar and refeed it with just 50:50 organic flour and water. It takes a couple of feeds before it's nice and bubbly but it always comes back to life.

Look into Adrenal Fatigue..and the neurons Orexin. High Glycemic foods can raise blood sugar and people who have Adrenal Fatigue has sensitive Hypothalamus stress response and hence the glucose can effectively block Orexin neurons...and without Orexin you cant be alert or concentrate properly..hence the fog. I completely cut off sugars and I stay off carbs till after 6pm.

I hear you noticing that you would like a different result...maybe some weight loss, maybe to satisfy another interest you have neglected, or maybe just "feeling better about yourself"? You get to decide. But here's a simple technique: notice what's not working, do anything different! Enjoy your game for an hour with an alarm set - turn off the game "for now" - get up from that chair and dont come back for an hour (or 15 minutes ior whatever you can imagine). Now what? Sit in a different chair, stand and look out your window, text a friend, take a shower, shop for 7 pieces of fruit (one a day), clean a drawer, call your mother, walk around your block...make note of how that was for you. Set your alarm, play the game again, turn it off, do anything else...repeat. Let me know what you discover! God bless ❤🙏❤

I do Not quite agree with your analysis.
You should have classified probiotics based on "histamine elevating/releasing" and "histamine degrading/neutral".
There is little evidence to show Lactic acid bacteria reverses SIBO & histamine intolerance. The most effective strains for SIBO are SBOs / soil based organisms.
Histamine is a different monster. Histamine regulation requires :
    1. Copper (DAO)
    2. Vit C
    3. Quercetin
    4. Methylation (vit B6, folate, b12 in methylated forms)
    5. Argenine
    6. Glycine
    7. Glutamine (fixes leaky gut)
    8. Histamine degrading probiotics like L. Rhamnosus GG, L. Gasseri etal.

I'm probably not qualified to speak on this but I have heard that SIBO or an unhealthy gut microbiome can be the cause for these brain and digestive issues. I've had diarrhea off an on for a year and brain fog for many years now and I'll finally get tested for SIBO soon. Keto might help with the symptoms but we still don't know if it is safe long term.
What we do know is that saturated fat and cholesterol are the main causes for cardiovascular diseases. The animal agriculture is one of the leading causes of climate change. They are also responsible for the horrific death 80 Billion animals go through every year. The documentary Dominion has just been uploaded to UA-cam for free, I can't recommend it enough.
      > I also felt incredibly weak when resistance training and I found it pretty difficult to gain muscle.
Are you making sure you're eating enough? Many people that don't track calories intuitively eat way less calories on a plant based diet because the foods are less calorie dense. There's no question plant based diets work for building muscle (Nimai Delgado, Jon Venus, Clarence Kennedy , Brian Turner, AlphaDestiny, etc...)

NOT ONE DIET FOR ALL. Some cannot tolerate plant foods at all. Others again do not do as well when consuming much animal foods. Weston Price found different healthy whole food diets working for different people groups. All the healthy diets consisted of unprocessed, unrefined, locally produced whole foods - without additives, and contained some animal and fermented produce. None were vegan.
90% of CO2 emissions into Earth's atmosphere and oceans originate from degrading plant matter, not from animal agriculture.

The low fat plant based diet is though the source of many adverse health outcomes. Many are now regaining health on keto/carnivor diets.
All of us are not as easily duped by these anti-meat propaganda films. Since picking up that the SDAdventist sect is behind the war against meat, and how they are in control of the world's grainatarian, plant based dietary guidelines; now do not believe mainstream diet info, and certainly will not accept the lie that animal agriculture is to be blamed for a change in climate (if this is even an issue).
To the contrary, plant agriculture poisons the ground, destroys underground eco-systems, and contaminates the food and water supply of animals and humans alike. This is far more costly to our environment on a far wider scale. The water-soluble antibiotic Glyphosate, is now even found in rainwater and breast milk!

i am having blurry vision too,i mean i can't see far objects that normal people see but i don't see near objects clearly too, though i seee near objects but not in focus, did u have the same symptoms or not ?I am confused wheether it's an eye problem or the brain fog?and i get it all the time 24/7 unlike people with brain fog who describe they have some good and some bad days, but for me all bad days and no difference,

Too much jargon for a first time viewer. I came here with brain fog and still have no idea what you’re talking about. I suppose I could google the key words you mention but doesn’t that defeat the purpose of coming to UA-cam for helpful information?
    *sigh*

Thanks for sharing! Did you know that a survey from 2018 of 71,000 Americans found that 61% had at least 1 bothersome gut issue? The most common gut symptom was acid reflux or GERD, then abdominal pain, then bloating!

please answer me these questions, please please,it would mean a lot.1.Do you have brain fog all the days or are some days good and some days bad?2.Do you have vision probems like not focusing near objects and not seeing far objects?3.Do you have watery eyes while using laptops and kinda eye strain?ps.I am askin these becoz i have problem seeing far objects and problems focusing on near things too,but i can feel no fog when i close my eyes,i am confused whether it's a brain fog or eye problem.I hope that you get well soon, thanks!!
