This was one of the most enjoyable workouts I have done of yours, Jules! Just wonderful. I did not even do the leg exercises in general since I am trying to atrophy the muscles from my legs and my legs hurt, however, I had a wonderful workout with this one for the arms. This was definitely one of the best yet! Thank you, Jules! I feel great!

I picked this one randomly today, although I've done them all before. My arthritis is acting up so I can barely lift my arms and have frozen shoulders, as well as disabilities in my lower extremities keeping me in a wheelchair. Anyway, after doing this one today I felt so much better, more flexible with less pain. This is often the case. I do one of your 30 minute workouts every day and they really help. Thank you, Jules.
I'm so glad that you notice the difference exercise makes with arthritis. So many people stop moving, but exercise actually helps to improve the symptoms of arthritis. I finished Day 3 and can definitely feel a difference! I am now sitting up straight and not leaning on the back rest! Also, feeling more flexibility in the arms, leg and core! Thank you so much!🙂
I loved the bouncy music! I ha e a hard time finding the daily chair videos as a set. It took me a few days to find Day 3. You do a marvelous job combining music, exercise and commentary. It helps when you point out your weaknesses, such as coordinating arm and leg movement.
When I create a series of workouts, I usually put the links to the whole series in the description under the video. Or, you can also find them in the playlists (this one would be in the 'beginner chair' playlists. I hope that helps you to find them more easily.
I modified this work out by standing up and using the 1 pound weights as you suggested. I found it to be plenty difficult. I really felt like I worked hard. Once again thank you for your guidance. It helps to have a lovely, knowledgeable, patient and gentle guide.❤🙋♀️

Thank you for making these workouts available! It is amazing how much I feel my muscles in a seated position! Exercise is important though the thought of doing it doesn't excite me, but I am enjoying this routine! I'm ready to continue on to day 4! 😃
You can definitely get in a great workout while seated. I'm so glad to read that you are exercising, despite not always wanting to. Your body will definitely thank you for it as the years go on. If we stop exercising, our bodies stop working for us.

I have a lot of pain in my left hip and am so glad I found these seated cardio routines to keep my heart happy while I rehap my hip. Two questions: How can consistantly find your intermediate chair workouts? What is the ideal chair? I've tried several in my house and none really feels that good. Thanks so much!
Hi Sharon, I have all of my workouts placed into the playlists according to levels (gentle, beginner and intermediate levels). If you look on the main page, you'll see 'playlists'. Click there and scroll down to find the seated workouts. I also started a second chair channel and now upload all new seated workouts there: youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts As for a chair, ideally you want a chair so that when you're sitting, your legs are bent at a 90 degree angle (or close to) while your feet are flat on the floor. This way you'll be able to move more easily. I find having a bit of cushioning on the chair is nice as well but not necessary. I hope that helps!

Body's abuzz, especially after that delicious stretch! I have a problem right shoulder, so many of the arm segments required that I take a break. However, I paused the video, continued doing whatever footwork accompanied the arm moves, and when I was sufficiently rested, I continued the video and the exercise. I did this because I didn't want to lose the full time allotted to the upper body. Great exercise, and lovely background! Thank you, Jules...Anastasia
My hubby and I love this workout! What’s hilarious to us is we do your workouts about five to six times a week and do various ones but somehow we’ve never done this one! When we find one we totally love, we do it three or four days in a row and then we’ll switch to another favorite. Thanks for all of the wonderful workouts to get me through this time as I get stronger!
I’m creating a 5 day program so that way you’ll get a different workout each day. Ideally doing a workout a day would be great if you can manage it. Any exercise is better than none so do what you can and build up when you are ready and able.
I really like this work out, but I really can’t do the crossing of the arm over the chest and then holding it with my other arm. So I’m hoping that just crossing it over my chest w/o holding it in is still having some benefits! Thank you so much for all the exercises, especially the chair ones that I can do! I’ve been doing these every day for about 3 months and I really think they’re helping! Have a good day and bless you!❤
Wow, congrats for working out every day for the past 3 months! That's excellent! Don't worry about that particular stretch. I'd like to suggest doing more of a dynamic strength if you can't hold your arm. Just bring your arm across, then back, and across your chest again. I'll be making an announcement soon regarding the seated workouts:)
Oh Julie, look at what we’re having to do today!!! Yes, I’ve done it again; my knee just can’t catch a break! I tripped going up a two step step-up from our den to the kitchen and hit my “bad knee” right on the edge of the top step. I skinned up my bad knee, hit on the other knee as well, have a little cut on my hand….goodness. With ice, a tens unit, an Ace compression band and Salonpas pain patch, along with chair exercises, it’s a bit better than it was last night, when it was so painful I figured I wouldn’t be walking on it today. We are going on a little three day trip tomorrow with plenty of walking, so I really needed to recover quickly. Another day in the life of Mary. But you know what? I’m way better off than a lot of folks, and for that I’m so thankful!! I’m thankful you have chair options, too!!!!
